Cheat sheet? It took you 2 YEARS to lose 70lbs - that's basically 3 lbs. per month. At that rate, it seems you cheated ALL the time. Thanks, but no thanks.😐😐😐
6:17 tips 1. Lose weight slowly 2. Dry brushing your skin or brushing your skin toward the heart. 6:30 3. Apply body oil after showering. To dry your skin, dab your skin, not rubbing. 6:55 4. Exercise 5. Some sunlight 6. Diet rich nutrients - lots of fruit, vegetables, legumes, starch (rice, potatoes) , beans, lentils 7. Lots of water - about 3 litres of water. Drink water after getting up. Helps with bowel movements. Keeps us feeling full. 8. Don't be ashamed of loose skin.
Whether you end up with loose skin or not has a lot to do with your age. I lost 70 lbs in 6 months in my early 20s and had no loose skin. I have now lost 70 lbs over 2 years at the age of 44 and I have loose skin. As you age you lose collagen in your skin that keeps it firm. It is much harder to prevent loose skin as you age.
lowcountryhooper I'm 27 and need to lose 100lbs and I plan to lose it within 2 years. So does that mean I'm going have/get sagging skin? Even if I do it the healthy way
Very true. If you see elderly people, they have alot of saggy skin and their cheeks are folded from ageing. But in general it needs to be done slowly and one cannot let your weight go too high nor too less as that will create a drastic loss. More longterm studies need to be done. A friend of mine went as high as 18 stones and then down to 10 stones and he had loose skin on his belly.
I'm starting my weight loss journey and I'm so glad you made this video. Loose/sagging skin has always been my biggest worry when losing weight. It's definitely an irrational fear but I feel so much better now.
I believe what you say Hannah. I lost 77 Ibs at the age of 28. It took me almost 16 months and I don't have any loose skin. I have stretch marks but no loose skin.
I agree with what you said about not wanting to loose weight fast. It has taken me 4 months to loose 22lb. And I’m happy! Because it’s not about loosing weight, it’s about changing your lifestyle, changing your mind. I still have to loose another 42lb, but it’s ok. I’m going step by step.
i started eating healthy and exercising. dropped 13 pounds in a month. hopefully its not too fast and ill be able to lose 60 pounds by the end of this year i was 89kgs when i started, im 82.65 kgs ( less than 186 pounds) as of today. started last month on the same date
I was really alarmed by that amount until I remembered that I once lost 13 pounds during two weeks because training for my job was just that rigorous lol
Loose skin also comes from genetics and AGE! Hannah is young...and also might have good genetics. Someone older and with different genetics might experience the loose skin. Moral of the story.....your body is unique and just because Hannah's body responded one way doesn't mean yours will respond the same way.
Ah yes.... so true, but everything she says is very helpful.... however, she is YOUNG... and yep genetics, everyone's body is different. I'm sorry though.... if you were twenty years older, it would be a different story. Show me someone older who skin isn't loose from after losing weight. Ah to be young again... *wishes UA-cam was around when I was your age.
Really, loose skin can happen even if you don't lose it "too fast." It's just generally not THAT much loose skin in those cases. Also in those cases, it usually means the person is changing their diet to not take in as many calories, but not caring about nutrition and fitness/exercise. And btw, there are people who are really overweight and need to lose the fat quickly for health reasons, so even then, it may just be that those people realize having loose skin isn't as horrible as dying of a heart attack. Also, when you've carried a lot of excess weight on your frame for years and years and you lose weight, your skin is less likely to "snap back" even when you lose weight at a reasonable, steady pace. Age and genetics also play a role. If you lose a lot of weight when you're older, your skin is less likely to firm back up when you lose that weight because collagen and elastin aren't produced at the same pace when we're older.
Exactly! She didn’t have a rapid weight loss due to bariatric surgery. Also, her hair didn’t get thin or fall out altogether due to rapid bariatric weight-loss. I’m glad she was able to lose all that weight on a plant-based diet it is possible if you have the willpower. Most people that have bariatric surgery don’t have willpower.
Not only should people prevent fast weightloss to avoid loose skin, but one thing that helps immensely is weightlifting or just staying toned by doing breathing exercises, sit ups, planks, wall sits, push ups, lunges and squats. It doesnt have to be extreme, just here and there when you have extra time.♡
It took me 2 years too to lose 70 pounds. I did the same, i took my time with mild exercising and dieting and lots of water too , I dropped most sugars also from my diet.
BtsGot7Exo Trash exactly! I don't see why people have to be so rude. she hasn't had kids so her skin is more likely to firm up. me on the other hand have had 4 so it would be harder for my skin to return.
BtsGot7Exo Trash exactly! I don't see why people have to be so rude. she hasn't had kids so her skin is more likely to firm up. me on the other hand have had 4 so it would be harder for my skin to return.
I get why people want to know because if she did have surgery and she's saying she's not she's lying and selling something false. But that doesn't mean you have to be rude and mean about it.
You are my inspiration. I'm 19 years old and my weight is actually killing my legs (I can't walk too much even tho I don't look that fat). I started the way you did 17 days ago and I'm already feeling a lot better. Thank you for being my inspiration.
This video was almost 3 years ago and this is the most inspirational on target weight loss video I have seen on UA-cam. Well done! So candid and I love it. I am in the process of eating a plant based foods and you have re-inspired me to continue. Thank you so much for this video. You are amazing!
I don't know if you're too good to be true - but I can say you have definitely prevented or delayed the onset of an eating disorder episode for at least one girl I know of. Thank you and you are soooo beautiful x
For everyone Who is not happy with their loose skin After weight loss: you went to a battle and won! That loose skin is a reminder and you will soon get rid of it, but until: its a reminder that you are a Champion!
Been searching the whole day and gone through tons of video about loose skin. This video is by far the best on the topic. My search ends here. Thanks for posting. God bless
Marina / I eat my whole plant meals in sections. I have an all fruit breakfast then I ether have another fruit breakfast or oatmeal. For lunch I personally keep it small because I constantly eat fruit through out the day, so I have a handful of cashews with a bowl of brown rice and black beans. For dinner I have a full plate of pasta, lentil loaf, rice medley or avocado sushi.
Yeah took me from January to July to make 145, starter out in 170s. So from there, I'm 143 now (november). My weightloss has slowed, but I dont have a ton of loose skin.
I believe you Hannah! also thanks for talking about skin acceptance at the end. I have many scars and am not ashamed of them. 2 major back surgeries, 2 caesarian sections, and a whole lot of scars from an active life. My body is strong and has been through a lot.
I can't even tell you how much this video means to me. I'm saving it to my favorites to watch for inspiration! Even in 2019, women are still socialized to want to have "perfect" bodies with no imperfections. Not possible for anyone, Male or female! We have to talk ourselves into being grateful and happy for the bodies we have with their imperfections. We have to teach ourselves to love ourselves no matter what. Thank you, Hannah, for setting the example. You are a true heroine for women and girls, especially!
I needed this video I have gained 70 pounds and have been working on losing it I'm down 10 currently and it's taking me a while to lose it but knowing that losing it slowly can help to prevent loose skin pushes me to keep going at a steady pace. Your such an inspiration 🤗
Well done!!! I'm starting my weight loss journey after years of being inactive. I have to regain flexibility, in addition to losing weight. It's great seeing inspiring comments like yours to stay on track and remain positive.
This is just what I needed! I love your vids, but this one really hit home. I am very overweight and have been trying to lose it too quickly. I needed to hear all you had to say. Thank you sooooo much you really have helped me refocus and stay positive. I started at 440lbs and am now down to 382lbs after 6 months. Im going to slow down and drink a lot more water and try to get some morning sun. Again Thanks so much and keep of the great vids!
I'm pleased with my new condition I acquired after my fast weight loss diet. I lost 24 pounds and lost lots of excess fat too. The diet plan I followed is on this website here *TOP2DIET . COM* HOW TO AVOID LOOSE SKIN / 70+ POUND WEIGHT LOSS / BEFORE & AFTER
Pamela Dimino wow Pamela, well done! I am trying not to get frustrated, and the slowly pace sometimes does frustrate me, but I am sure that it will go off. i am just focusing on eating healthy :)
Pamela Dimino on my own ive lost 38 lbs in about 2 or 3 weeks I'm healthy. im 16, 17 in dec. i have no excess skin. but im 5'9 so i dont look fat, i just look curvy. ive been told i look 60lbs lighter than what i actually weigh which is great. never give up on ur journey, good luck
I've lost 40lbs so far, in about 4 months (I'm at my half way point) and one of my biggest fears is having loose skin at the end after working so hard. Thank you for making this, i feel like I'm on the right track. Not going to slow not pushing to hard, my fear is rather settled now 😊🖤
Hannah, you have inspired thousands of people and show us how it is possible to succeed. You've already accomplished everything so many people wish they had done. Glad you set them straight! Just know there are lots of others who believe you and believe in you. 💚 Thank you for all the work you put in to share your journey with us.
That's why I went on a plant based diet. My family and Dr. wanted me to have the surgery to eat less. I watched videos on girl that lost their hair a.nd they were misserable.
I honestly don't even know how people can say such blunt, rude and disrespectful things. Most people..normal humans.. don't go up to complete strangers and say this garbage straight to someones face. Why then do they think it's perfectly fine to do so via the internet? I don't get it. Do they no longer teach "If you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all." ??? Kindness costs nothing. I think you are amazing and brave to put yourself out there like this. I love all the advice and information you give. Thank you and keep up the awesome work. I watch your videos and the boyfriend watches Derek's. LOL!
Love that you reminded folks that skin is your largest organ. So many ppl forget that. It’s so important to take care of all of your skin! I have lupus and the disease tends to attack my skin. Through that I learned how having sores on my skin makes me feel very sick.
I was feeling demotivated. I messed up this week and needed a motivator. First time ive watched your video and i fricken love you!!! Thank you for your words. Im going to def drink 1l of water in the morning!!
I love you Hannah, I lost 20 pounds in a year and people are always like... "but I want to lose it in a month" they just don't get sustainable weight loss 😊
Why are people so surprised you have none? Every single person I know who lost weight doesn't have loose skin... The only time I've heard of people getting loose skin is when they do is unhealthily in like 2 months. You just gotta do it steadily ! Slow and healthy wins the race 💪🌱 you look great hannah
It's also worth adding that people who were extremely overweight (sadly like myself) are more likely to have loose skin. I lost 90 pounds and have plenty of loose skin, I lost it over 2 years at a snails pace, but when you are that overweight that long (as I was), it happens. I also think genetics can play a roll and I didn't win that battle LOL!
I am going to have to (well not HAVE to, choose) to have a tummy tuck at some point because that area is the worst part. I agree that the idea of loose skin shouldn't make anyone feel defeated or not want to lose weight because of the possibility of loose skin.
Hi Hannah, I've just started loosing weight and im so glad i found your video. You said everything i needed to hear! I'm going to slow down and stop trying to loose all the weight as quickly as possible and focus more on caring for myself long term. I feel like everyone who wants to loose weight should watch this video first! Thank you 😊
How has your weight loss gone? I recently lost 46 lbs myself. Did you end up losing some weight, or are you coming around to trying again? Would love to hear your story
This entire video is everything. I have just started walking my puppy every day and listening to your whole video has motivated me to get into more of a routine with exercise, slow weight loss and skin care. Thank you! 🙏😍
Thank you for all the tips! I just started Weight Watchers and am trying to loose 50lbs. Most of my weight is in my stomach and thighs, and I'm scared of having loose skin. I'm going to take your tips to heart and try my best! Thank you for the info!!
Sister you are my inspiration. I have celiacs I'm 75 pounds over weight but I'm just trying to get out of pain. I'm vegan and went gf 1 month ago when I got diagnosed. Keep helping us that are willing to learn. The others can't be helped. Love and peace.
It continues to bewilder me the number of people out there that troll or attack people just because. You are doing amazing Hannah and we can all see your healthy glow. Your information is helping so many of us. ❤️
Thank you!!! My biggest concern in weight loss is doing all this hard work and then still not looking how I want because of loose skin. This definitely gives me hope,.
Your on point! I've had 2 kids and when I lost weight quickly I had loose skin with my first born. My second pregnancy I didn't have loose skin because I lost it slowly. So worth it to NOT lose weight fast. 💕
Amazing! Thank you for sharing your experience! I need to lose almost the same weight you lose, 64 pounds. I had lost 15 pounds in 4 months. I am doing exercise 6 days a week. I am 75% vegetarian/ vegan. I still consume some fish and chicken. I basically do what you have mentioned in the video. I am very concerned about having loose skin, but after this video, I feel more confident! Keep inspiring the world!
I agree with everything you said but I also think age has a lot to do with it as well. It seems that the younger you are, the more elasticity in the skin and the best chance to avoid having your skin not rebound to its former shape.
thank you so much for sharing. i m also on a weight loss program. i was too aggressive. i need to adjust now. i need to loose 10kg only though. but i hate loose skin.
I want to say thank you for posting this. I have always been very thin growing up, and I was fortunate to get to dance every day as a teen and never had to worry about what I ate and was always in shape. And then college and grad school happened. I, unfortunately, have gained about 50 pounds, and I feel so self-conscious, and ending up with loose skin terrifies me as I start my weight loss journey. To have you post pictures of your before and after was really reassuring to me, and all of your tips makes me feel much more confident that I can do this too. I know people just post rude comments, but I wanted you to know that you definitely helped me
YESS, Hannah! This is your sweet spot...inspiring, passionate videos with encouragement and validation for your viewers! (you're NOTT ranting!) LOVE YOU!!
I'm really glad u made this video. I needed this. thank u hannah. I'm also very sorry for all the people that are hateful and rude about your weight loss. I can only imagine how hard it is to have a youtube channel at times like this. I personally think your amazing and your a very strong person. 2 Years is a long time and it just goes to show how patient and dedicated you are. That takes a lot of strength so be proud, which I'm sure u are lol :) I've been struggling for 8 years with my weight, so I'm very weak... I'm 185 right now and 4'11 and I'm trying to make my journey in losing 70 lbs.. (isn't that a coincidence) it's hard. Your the only person I'm subscribed to. Besides my brother lol so keep on going, I'm always here listening :)
You are NOT weak, you will get there just keep going girl :) If i think about it, i struggled with my weight for over ten years until I got it right, you can do this.
This is great! I carry my weight in my arms, thighs, and tummy... And have some loose skin already from weight loss. Thanks for your time & great tips. You looks amazing! The crazy thing is, we all have different bodies, so people giving you grief... They are just different and having a different experience. We all will. BUT sharing this kind of info is super helpful. It may or may not work for everyone, BUT it will work for people who are consistent with it. (Also depending on their body, and skin elasticity!) Keep it up Hannah. - Erin
I am 19 male 125kgs 5'8 I recently started my weight loss journey it's been a week so one of my concerns has been loose skin because I have been seeing so many people have it after weight loss so your video gave me a full insight about this concern so thank you so much for sharing your experience and keep doing what you been doing your a inspiration to me sister love you ♥️
I have loose skin already, 35 pounds down. I have lost it at the rate of 3-5 pounds a month, which is the same rate as you. I follow a mostly plant-based diet that has no flours or sugars, so I eat a LOT of produce, with some legumes, nuts, and a little dairy. I have always had very thin skin, literally. I know many others whose skin is literally thicker, and they have had much better results with not having a lot of loose skin with their weight loss. Some of it is simply genetics.
You have no idea how much this helped. I've NEVER been able to lose weight quickly and I always thought there was something wrong with me. This made me feel better about choosing a slower journey.
Just now came across this vid, this girl has some will power and decipline. People can be harsh, most of us just want to to rush and lose weight but for those who do it the right way and take the time are just amazing.
Thank you, this is what I say about losing weight fast. People look at me weird when I say about 40lb in 3 or 4 years...that’s because I’m doing lifestyle and still finding what still works for me.
A science class today. You are also in your twenties. Your skin regenerated faster. I lost almst 100 lbs in my 40s in about 2 years. I had loose skin. I also had a physical job. I didn' t do that much exercise and wasn't plant based at the time. Now plant based for 16 months, my energy is soo much better and feel great. I'm taking small steps to improve. I appreciate your info on youtube. It has helped me and my own research. My Father almost died last Tuesday with V-fib, pnuemonia and cardiac arrest while playing softball here in Surprise. I told him he's becoming Vegan to improve himself. He's a fighter! I know he can commit. My parents been married almost 55 years. Thank you very much for your channel!!!!
Thank you for making this video! I have been thinking more and more about losing weight fast vs slowly. I was super worried about loose skin and I'm glad you talked about the slower you lose the more time your body has to catch up with the weight your losing! I've seen that obese to beast video and I think that guy is amazing too. Have a blessed day!!
Thank you for posting this. My worry about weight loss is that I will end up with loose skin and even when I talk about how I just want to lose it slowly over time so that I keep it off and don't have lose skin, there are always people that want to tell you it is unavoidable. It becomes discouraging but your video helps me keep a possitive mindset. Congrats on your amazing accomplishment. Keep inspiring others with your story!
Thank you for saying this, I literally am losing very slowly, but after the original 25lbs came off very quickly. I just found you but I am going to watch your videos!
You did it the right way and the only sustainable way... Gongratulations! UA-cam is filled with way too many people who wants a "quick fix".....and then they get dissapointed when the weight come back on again... Thank you for the very good advices...! I appreciate you and respect you....
Congrats Hannah on your weight loss. I was told by a plastic surgeon that skin quality as far as elasticity is very genetic. Unfortunately I never had much weight to loose but do not have great elasticity. Love your videos
Omg so adorable I'm currently going through my weight loss journey and my biggest fear is all of that skin I've been big my whole life I know its gonna be there but at least I'll be free to move and live my life
I so needed this video. Thanks for sharing. Ive always go on crazy extreme diets that i can never stick to. This has been so motivating to gwt healthy and do this the correct way.
I just came across you when I was watching celery juice videos and then saw this!! Can I just say you are awesome!! I don't have a weight problem necessarily but I am a huge believer in taking care of ourselves and loving ourself and this will help many people I am sure of it!!! Congratulations on your weight loss but more importantly healthy mind healthy life!!! Way to go
Thanks for such a practical and realistic video! I’m starting my journey and have about 80 pounds or so to lose...I’m also older (48) so loose skin is something I’m worried about...I love that you reinforce slow weight loss and being proud of yourself! It’s a good reminder that slow and steady wins the race!!
I gained a lot of weight at my desk job that involved like 10 hours a day of sitting down and lot of nights out. I've been WFH 2 years now and about a year ago I started to prioritize my health. I wanted to lose about 60 pounds (ish), and so far I've lost 40. I want/wanted to avoid lose skin if possible, so I tailored my diet and habits around nourishing my body and giving it what it needs to build healthy cells. I use retinol on my body, take a collagen supplement, take Hyaluronic acid, eat a lot of fruits, vegetables and nuts, drink water, do strength training, dry brushing, moisturizing, etc. So far so good, but we'll see how the rest of the journey goes. Good luck to everyone on their own journey.
At 15 I was 352lbs and went from living with my dad the food horder to live with my mom who was vegan & I got so active I was in young marines, cheerleading & dance & it was fast, but I lost over 170lbs in 8 months with no loose skin because I was so young & active every single day because even without all that we went on hikes. Now at 31 I almost got 300 & I've lost 30lbs hoping I have no loose skin because I have never had stretch marks thankfully, but will see. 😊🤨

Being young + hydration + slow process = no loose skin
what if i lose 20pounds in like 3 months?
black2thepink no idea
Not necessarily. My mom lost a LOT of weight after 70 years old within months. Because she went vegan the weight just fell off.
No loose skin.
how young tho ?
@@conversationswithadrianne Can you tell how much weight she lost? Some people say lots of weight and they mean 30-40 pounds
You are so right! I lost 40 pounds in 3 years no loose skin. I was 53 when I started and 56 when I finished my goal.
this was helpful!
Wow
Congrats
That’s what I hate tho. I’m gonna be like 35 by the time I’m at my goal weight. Ew.
Thank you for this! It is so encouraging! I am 52 and always try to be healthy. This is hopeful!
Not only are you dropping wisdom, but you have a great personality too. Thanks girly
Even if I do it the healthy way
You speak the truth. I’m older and after losing just 20 lbs. in a year, I have loose skin. I don’t care though. I’m just happy the weight is gone.
lowcountryhooper how did you lose it I am in my 200s wanting to lose weight Don t know how scared of getting lose skin
Very true. If you see elderly people, they have alot of saggy skin and their cheeks are folded from ageing. Progress update?
Any update??
How did your journey go?
I believe what you say Hannah. I lost 77 Ibs at the age of 28. It took me almost 16 months and I don't have any loose skin. I have stretch marks but no loose skin.
Sayruh Kama, drink 2-8 cups of pure green tea (without sugar) per day
being hydrated is the point. green tea is mostly water, so yeah!
dewari 139 NOT CAFFEINATED GREEN TEA. IT DRYS OUT THE SKIN CELLS WHICH RETAIN MOISTURE.
CLZ how did you do it
Do you have anymore tips
I agree with what you said about not wanting to loose weight fast. It has taken me 4 months to loose 22lb. And I’m happy! Because it’s not about loosing weight, it’s about changing your lifestyle, changing your mind. I still have to loose another 42lb, but it’s ok. I’m going step by step.
Stop making excuses for laziness
This is my plan! I want to lose 30lbs in 4-6 months and then lose the remaining 40 over the course of a year. Slow and steady wins the race!
I lost 72 pounds in almost 9 months so far and have no loose skin. I’m also 22
Hi how did you do it? Please share
i started eating healthy and exercising. dropped 13 pounds in a month. hopefully its not too fast and ill be able to lose 60 pounds by the end of this year
i was 89kgs when i started, im 82.65 kgs ( less than 186 pounds) as of today. started last month on the same date
Thank u for that. It gives me a little hope for my weight loss journey
I was really alarmed by that amount until I remembered that I once lost 13 pounds during two weeks because training for my job was just that rigorous lol
Congratulations !!!
Loose skin also comes from genetics and AGE! Hannah is young...and also might have good genetics. Someone older and with different genetics might experience the loose skin. Moral of the story.....your body is unique and just because Hannah's body responded one way doesn't mean yours will respond the same way.
This is true. Pregnancy in my 30s effected my body more than in my twenties and didn't bounce back as well
Yes I agree, I'm 36 and already I'm starting to see the loose skin and I just recently lost a few pounds
It can be age yes but so many girls in their teens also have loose skin after losing weight
Ah yes.... so true, but everything she says is very helpful.... however, she is YOUNG... and yep genetics, everyone's body is different. I'm sorry though.... if you were twenty years older, it would be a different story. Show me someone older who skin isn't loose from after losing weight. Ah to be young again... *wishes UA-cam was around when I was your age.
That’s true. My mom has skin that’s not very elastic and I’m very similar. I’ve only lost 5kg and I’m 28 but the tummy skin is already quite loose.
Thats the whole thing YOU DIDNT LOOSE IT TOO FAST....THATS KEY TO NOT HAVING LOOSE SKIN....People are stupid
ItsanARTtoLIVE if you ten can that happen
Like losse skin
AlayasMagic uhh idc
I lost almost 50 pounds in 3 months and i do not have loose skin. I have stretch marks, but no loose skin. :)
Tomato any tips for me
Do you have instagram
Tomato Yes : adelbaco
Hi,im interested to know more abt what you did to lose 50lbs in 3mnths(it's my target too)😅

How did you lose the weight so quickly?
Not only should people prevent fast weightloss to avoid loose skin, but one thing that helps immensely is weightlifting or just staying toned by doing breathing exercises, sit ups, planks, wall sits, push ups, lunges and squats. It doesnt have to be extreme, just here and there when you have extra time.♡
It took me 2 years too to lose 70 pounds. I did the same, i took my time with mild exercising and dieting and lots of water too , I dropped most sugars also from my diet.
If that is you in the pic you look amazing.
@@nemophilistforestsoflife6847 thank you, yep that's me.
People that write comments like these are just straight up disrespectful.
Even if she would have had surgery then why would it even matter?
EXACTLY. 👏👏👏👏
BtsGot7Exo Trash exactly! I don't see why people have to be so rude. she hasn't had kids so her skin is more likely to firm up. me on the other hand have had 4 so it would be harder for my skin to return.

BtsGot7Exo Trash stop being a bitch, people want to know if its achievable
I get why people want to know because if she did have surgery and she's saying she's not she's lying and selling something false. But that doesn't mean you have to be rude and mean about it.
I'm in the process of losing weight right now (I had 70 lbs to lose too). I'm happy the fact that it's slower because I know it's healthier!
chronically me how are you doing now
You are my inspiration. I'm 19 years old and my weight is actually killing my legs (I can't walk too much even tho I don't look that fat). I started the way you did 17 days ago and I'm already feeling a lot better. Thank you for being my inspiration.
Nina I really suck at life good luck for the future!
thank you so much !
You're doing so well already! Keep it up !!
Thank you ! Im doing my best !
It also depends on how long you were overweight.
Exactly
I’ve been overweight since I was 4 :(
Why ? What if you were overwinter for like 10 months
@@Maggie-ey3hv 10 months is nothing.
What about 7 years 😭
This video was almost 3 years ago and this is the most inspirational on target weight loss video I have seen on UA-cam. Well done! So candid and I love it. I am in the process of eating a plant based foods and you have re-inspired me to continue. Thank you so much for this video. You are amazing!
Slow and steady wins the race! 🐢💕
Actually nugget won that race. I should've placed a bet on him instead.
I don't know if you're too good to be true - but I can say you have definitely prevented or delayed the onset of an eating disorder episode for at least one girl I know of. Thank you and you are soooo beautiful x
They just hating cause your beautiful. Your be honest to yourselves and they are jealous cause they can't reach your goal...
For everyone Who is not happy with their loose skin After weight loss: you went to a battle and won! That loose skin is a reminder and you will soon get rid of it, but until: its a reminder that you are a Champion!
Will it go away? I'm 20.

Age and genetics have a LOT to do with it! Someone in their 20’s is a lot different than someone in their 40’s.
Or 70s! LOL
Jennifer....I fully agree!
Depends on your approach and age don’t have anything too do with it
Jen you're absolutely correct!
Age has a lot to do with it, also how long the person was overweight. Genetics also plays a large roll.
Been searching the whole day and gone through tons of video about loose skin. This video is by far the best on the topic. My search ends here. Thanks for posting. God bless

What are you doing to loose weight? I'd love to hear some tips!
Thank you for responding:)
Its been a year, where are you at now in weight loss?
Yeah took me from January to July to make 145, starter out in 170s. So from there, I'm 143 now (november). My weightloss has slowed, but I dont have a ton of loose skin.
I believe you Hannah! also thanks for talking about skin acceptance at the end. I have many scars and am not ashamed of them. 2 major back surgeries, 2 caesarian sections, and a whole lot of scars from an active life. My body is strong and has been through a lot.
You are so motivational. I am 61 and still you are inspiring!
Did you loose the last 60 pounds?
How's it going ..?
This is just what I needed! I love your vids, but this one really hit home. I am very overweight and have been trying to lose it too quickly. I needed to hear all you had to say. Thank you sooooo much you really have helped me refocus and stay positive. I started at 440lbs and am now down to 382lbs after 6 months. Im going to slow down and drink a lot more water and try to get some morning sun. Again Thanks so much and keep of the great vids!
I hope you'll see this. How are you doing? Did you lose the weight?
I hope you'll see this. How are you doing? It's been two year since your posted your comment. Please update
I'm happy for you
Congrats on your weight loss. Don’t get discouraged. Don’t lose your focus. You are amazing.
Amazing video!! Luv you guys!! I'm 51 and it's taken me 1 year to lose 50 pounds! I did it the right way & it's gone for good!! XOXO
Good for you Pamela! 50lbs is a lot!
You are so sweet! Thank you:)
I'm pleased with my new condition I acquired after my fast weight loss diet. I lost 24 pounds and lost lots of excess fat too. The diet plan I followed is on this website here *TOP2DIET . COM*
HOW TO AVOID LOOSE SKIN / 70+ POUND WEIGHT LOSS / BEFORE & AFTER
Pamela Dimino wow Pamela, well done!
I just remember watching this video last year thinking 70 lbs is impossible. I didn't even realize I had dropped 60 in 2 years as well. ... 😁😀
I've lost 40lbs so far, in about 4 months (I'm at my half way point) and one of my biggest fears is having loose skin at the end after working so hard. Thank you for making this, i feel like I'm on the right track. Not going to slow not pushing to hard, my fear is rather settled now 😊🖤
Do you have any loose skin so far after dropping 40 lbs in 4 months?
Update?
Hey! You got any updates on this?
Hannah, you have inspired thousands of people and show us how it is possible to succeed. You've already accomplished everything so many people wish they had done. Glad you set them straight! Just know there are lots of others who believe you and believe in you. 💚 Thank you for all the work you put in to share your journey with us.
i know, i love you all :)
That's why I went on a plant based diet. My family and Dr. wanted me to have the surgery to eat less. I watched videos on girl that lost their hair a.nd they were misserable.
if you do not need the surgery to do it, don't.
LOL!
Thank you for being honest and not just telling us what we want to hear!( lose weight slow). You are beautiful!!
FrOsTy RozE same I've lost 15 pounds in 10 months
Why are people so surprised you have none? Every single person I know who lost weight doesn't have loose skin... The only time I've heard of people getting loose skin is when they do is unhealthily in like 2 months. You just gotta do it steadily ! Slow and healthy wins the race 💪🌱 you look great hannah
Alexis Rose yep... rapid weight loss causes loose skin
Alexis Rose exactly. Losing 1-2 pounds a week is the healthy way.
Alexis Rose or when they have weight loss surgery
Hi Hannah,
I've just started loosing weight and im so glad i found your video. You said everything i needed to hear!
I'm going to slow down and stop trying to loose all the weight as quickly as possible and focus more on caring for myself long term.
I feel like everyone who wants to loose weight should watch this video first!
Thank you 😊
People are trolls sometimes. You are beautiful and have worked so hard. You inspire a LOT of us
I love that your message is so positive and loving!
Thank you for uploading! I am currently 200 lbs and 5’7. My goal is to lose 2lbs a week at the most. This has encouraged me to lose weight slowly.
How has your weight loss gone? I recently lost 46 lbs myself. Did you end up losing some weight, or are you coming around to trying again? Would love to hear your story

Good morning Hannah ♡
Girl, I think you are sweet for being you & just trying to helping people out. Keep doing you. Praise to you.
This makes me feel better about my journey. It's taken me two months to lose 6lbs. It was discouraging until I watched this
This entire video is everything. I have just started walking my puppy every day and listening to your whole video has motivated me to get into more of a routine with exercise, slow weight loss and skin care. Thank you! 🙏😍
Your advice is so refreshingly straightforward and reasonable. Thank you.
Lol at the "I'm bloated today" girl you look amazeballs! Stawwwwp!
she can get it
Bloated? Damn I wish I looked that slim on a skinny day! 😂
Lol hahahah i know. She does look amazeballs lol
Genetics also helps.
By the way CONGRATULATIONS! You Look amazing!
Probably one of the most real individuals I’ve come across in a while. Refreshing. Thanks Hannah.

Skin will tighten up over the years :) !! After a baby it took me 3 years
Now I’m back to it had a baby 2 months ago
Meet The Presleys nicee !
Meet The Presleys so it will naturally tighten up?
No
@AlayasMagic thank you so much!!!!!! Omg never thought of that
how old are you?
I didn't get stretch marks from my pregnancy. Everyone is different.
Paula Same!
I got them without pregnancy!
Your assessment on weight loss and loose skin was pretty educational. 💙
It seems that the younger you are, the more elasticity in the skin and the best chance to avoid having your skin not rebound to its former shape.
i needed this also this is a great excuse to do small workouts and not die yay
thank you so much for sharing. i m also on a weight loss program. i was too aggressive. i need to adjust now. i need to loose 10kg only though. but i hate loose skin.
I know people just post rude comments, but I wanted you to know that you definitely helped me
Thank you for an honest, no bs video - no false promises and just an honest retelling of what worked! best of luck to you :) x
YESS, Hannah! This is your sweet spot...inspiring, passionate videos with encouragement and validation for your viewers! (you're NOTT ranting!) LOVE YOU!!
Thanks Bumble
You are NOT weak, you will get there just keep going girl :) If i think about it, i struggled with my weight for over ten years until I got it right, you can do this.
thanks hannah! :) I'll do it
I've lost 106 pounds in a year.....I have loose skin. I take collagen and gelatin for it.....it takes a while....I'm headed to 150 pounds
JCLJDC how old are you?
Try intermittent fasting along with your current diet! It helps in reducing the loose skin.
Thanks for shedding some positive light. Sorry you receive some unpleasant comments
When you hit 50 you won't give a darn what anyone says about you. Too bad we cannot feel this in our 20's.

SimonaLyne Enderz Very inspirational! Hannah is in her 30s actually. :)
Keep inspiring others with your story!

its so hard to lose weight, can i just change the lenses of my camera to more convex?
You did it the right way and the only sustainable way... Gongratulations! UA-cam is filled with way too many people who wants a "quick fix".....and then they get dissapointed when the weight come back on again... Thank you for the very good advices...! I appreciate you and respect you....
thank you for your honesty, you just gained a subscriber 😉
Congrats Hannah on your weight loss. I was told by a plastic surgeon that skin quality as far as elasticity is very genetic. Unfortunately I never had much weight to loose but do not have great elasticity. Love your videos
Omg so adorable I'm currently going through my weight loss journey and my biggest fear is all of that skin I've been big my whole life I know its gonna be there but at least I'll be free to move and live my life

I'm starting my healthy weight loss journey today! How is it going by the way? I hope you are doing well!
Moisturize while you are still big, that way your skin will be healthy enough to be elastic.
How is it going?
Best advice I’ve heard! Thank you
I love that you posted this and I’m sorry that you were getting negative things on something so positive that you did for your self. Congrats!
