I've watched it so many times. I first heard it the weekend my friend/Pastor/mentor passed from Covid. Last year,I used parts of it in my brother's eulogy. I'm coming out of the hardest times of my life...but nothing is happenstance. God is intricate and He will work it all together for my good. Unpredictable but necessary. That is awesome because when that particular sin was consuming me, God let me put myself into a place that humbled me real quick. I remember praying "hey I get it, I messed up. I see different now. Please get me out of this place." He left me there a lot longer then I expected to be there. However, my point of view is extremely changed. I really hope less people have to learn that lesson the hard way. Every time I catch myself making the wrong decisions now I almost immediately feel the beg to God of "Please don't let me have to suffer severely for this I know better and I won't make a habit of this, it was a moment of weakness." I also have learned that it is a lot easier to be a good person when life is relatively comfortable, stable, or easy. I am scared of what I am capable of when I feel like my back is against the wall and hopelessness sets in. I try very hard to pray every day and to lean into God's purpose for my life so that i am not placed into a position where I am compromised and pushed into a place where my wickedness and selfishness take over.
Dharius is such a great role model to everyone but especially Christian men. Biblically sound, kind, motivated and honest always. People seem to think masculinity is in crisis right now but when I see Dharius Daniels, he is the perfect example of a wonderfully made masculine man. And he takes care of himself as such, physically, mentally and spiritually!

There were so many "aha" moments in this sermon, I could barely keep up taking notes! Pastor Dharius' sermon was POWERFUL! I am sharing it with my friends and family. We must see this season for what it is - and be ready for the call! I truly believe that God is using this season to challenge our faith, to see if we are able to put into action ALL that we say we believe. If our faith can't be fruitful outside of the walls of our church buildings or without all of our fellow church members around us, what does that say about our faith and our witness to the world?! I, for one, am GRATEFUL for this season! I've been able to get even closer to the Lord! I can't wait to see where the Lord is leading us next! This entire sermon was my "aha" moment! Praise the Lord for this anointed message!
A friend posted this sermon on Facebook today just hours before I was to go to my Mother's visitation. She had covid and fought it for 10 days, no underlying but and just 48 hrs later her brother who lived across the street from her passed away from complications of covid. So yes, I didn't see that coming, I was totally knocked off my feet. To know I'm in the season of being prepared and that I need to grind really did help me tonight at her visiting. I just pray I remember that God is preparing me tomorrow at her service.

I didn't see it coming, but God prepared me for it. This message was from a year ago, is exactly what is playing out in my life right now. I didn't see a situation coming, it had me so down and stressed out, but I am choosing joy and choosing to trust God to help me through it. Never got his name until he popped up in a UA-cam recommendation about 1+ years later and learned he had his own church in NJ. His sermons go deep.
Pastor Dharious you know how to deliver Gods Word to His flock with transparency, vision and passion. The hard life lessons experienced by the Israelites in the wilderness should not be lost on deaf ears. They didnt have to spend 40 yrs turning in circles if they had just stopped to listen and obey Him. When we insist on our own way failing to remember and be grateful for what God has provided us all along He will let us chase our own tail till we get exhausted and hopefully look up for the help that was there all along by God to lead us through the season. Stubborness and pride never gets us out of Egpt.

Wow. Im super encouraged this is exactly what i needed to hear today. God is so good! Preparation= puning =stop doing things we are used to doing. Pruning is in the preparation period. The enemy is the inner me sometimes. Deal with the things that can't go with me to where I am going. Deal with old issues! Pruning of individuals. One in a companion of fools suffers harm. I don't have to be a fool to be hurt. I just have to hang out with them. Bad companies kill a good character. See yourself the way God sees you, so that you can behave the way God made you to be! Manage the unexpected season. How it is managed determines if it is prolonged or shortened. How do I manage? The season itself is a surprise. In the season, there are surprises too. They ask for bread and they see a seed, "What is this?" Manna: 1. Times when God's performance doesn't match with your expectation. (looked different than what was in their expectation in their heads. The answer was just different than what they expected) They needed to grind the seed. The seed becomes grain, and then they can make bread. God's provision came in the form of a project. We gotta be willing to grind to turn it into what it could be. It is a grinding season for me. God gives me a seed. If I can grind it, then I can make it into what God promsied it to be. 2. Manna represents times when God supernaturally sufficates your supply. It would only last 24 hours except for the day before the Sabbath. Every day they woke up and had to depend on God to provide. For this season, you will hit a season where God sufficates your supply. There are things you have to ask me for in the wilderness which you are going to have a riches supply of in Canaan. We need to be clear of who our source is in the wildnerness. When you get into Canaan, you wouldn't forget about God. Depend and rely on Him. God is teaching a different type of dependence. 3. Manna represents seasonal supply. Manna ceased. It was temporary. This is just temporary provision until I provide in a way that is more permanent. Instead of feeling anxiety with the manna, they should have expressed an appreciation--it is a miracle. We miss the miracle we are experiencing because we are looking for a miracle. God's benevolence and generosity of giving miracles! Properly respond to the fact that God has me. Appreciate! Praising--> good manners. The recognition of God's divine provision in my life. It is my organic and automatic response. Gratitude is the seed of more. The more you sow praise, the more God starts sowing back into you. Miracles that God has already performed. Praise God for what he has done, and for what He is goinang to do. Israel mismanaged this season. What was intended to be temporary turned out to be 40 years. Just because you are surprised doesn't mean that you are not prepared. You may not be feeling prepared but that doesnt mean that God hasn't prepared you for it. God has prepared me for this! I didn't see it coming, but I'm ready. I was caught off guard, but I am ready. I don't prefer this, and I wouldn't pick it, but if God allowed me to experience it, I am ready for it. God was getting me ready (red sea etc), and I am where I am because God has readied me! Are you going to apply what your teacher has taught you? I cannot doubt God in the present when you look at how faithful God has been. Doubt is illogical. I didn't see it coming, but God got me ready for it!

Uhum ! Whole week I kept contemplating on where all it relates with my life situations. God showed. He has been answering, but in what is this form. And my delays are God taking me the long road to make me strong n to help me see my potential. Eg. I had been glutton. Fasting is a task, I kp faltering.but when God commanded . We must see this season for what it is - and be ready for the call! I truly believe that God is using this season to challenge our faith, to see if we are able to put into action ALL that we say we believe. If our faith can't be fruitful outside of the walls of our church buildings or without all of our fellow church members around us, what does that say about our faith and our witness to the world?! I, for one, am GRATEFUL for this season! I've been able to get even closer to the Lord! I can't wait to see where the Lord is leading us next! This entire sermon was my "aha" moment! A friend posted this sermon on Facebook today just hours before I was to go to my Mother's visitation. She had covid and fought it for 10 days, no underlying but and just 48 hrs later her brother who lived across the street from her passed away from complications of covid. So yes, I didn't see that coming, I was totally knocked off my feet. To know I'm in the season of being prepared and that I need to grind really did help me tonight at her visiting. I just pray I remember that God is preparing me tomorrow at her service.

The word play is what makes it so confusing and hard to remember. It's like it's programming my mind in a way that I can't read the bible for myself because I can't disect these word plays from it myself.

I didn't see it coming, but God prepared me for it. This message was from a year ago, is exactly what is playing out in my life right now. I didn't see a situation coming, it had me so down and stressed out, but I am choosing joy and choosing to trust God to help me through it. He has prepared me to face this difficult situation and I am expecting to see His miracle working Hand as I navigate this storm. Thank you God for keeping me calm in the storm and helping me to grow stronger in my faith. Amen!

I was introduced to him a few years ago when Elevation Worship performed here in D.C. @ George Mason University. He always came out in between sets to talk and pray with the crowd. Never got his name until he popped up in a UA-cam recommendation about 1+ years later and learned he had his own church in NJ. His sermons go deep.

Pastor Dharious you know how to deliver Gods Word to His flock with transparency, vision and passion. The hard life lessons experienced by the Israelites in the wilderness should not be lost on deaf ears. They didnt have to spend 40 yrs turning in circles if they had just stopped to listen and obey Him. When we insist on our own way failing to remember and be grateful for what God has provided us all along
He will let us chase our own tail till we get exhausted and hopefully look up for the help that was there all along by God to lead us through the season. Stubborness and pride never gets us out of Egpt.

Preparation= puning =stop doing things we are used to doing. Pruning is in the preparation period. The enemy is the inner me sometimes. Deal with the things that can't go with me to where I am going. Deal with old issues!
Pruning of individuals.
One in a companion of fools suffers harm. I don't have to be a fool to be hurt. I just have to hang out with them. Bad companies kill a good character.
See yourself the way God sees you, so that you can behave the way God made you to be! Manage the unexpected season. How it is managed determines if it is prolonged or shortened. How do I manage?
The season itself is a surprise. In the season, there are surprises too.
They ask for bread and they see a seed, "What is this?" Manna: 1. Times when God's performance doesn't match with your expectation. (looked different than what was in their expectation in their heads. The answer was just different than what they expected)
They needed to grind the seed. The seed becomes grain, and then they can make bread. God's provision came in the form of a project.
We gotta be willing to grind to turn it into what it could be. It is a grinding season for me. God gives me a seed. If I can grind it, then I can make it into what God promsied it to be.
2. Manna represents times when God supernaturally sufficates your supply. It would only last 24 hours except for the day before the Sabbath. Every day they woke up and had to depend on God to provide. For this season, you will hit a season where God sufficates your supply.
There are things you have to ask me for in the wilderness which you are going to have a riches supply of in Canaan. We need to be clear of who our source is in the wildnerness.
When you get into Canaan, you wouldn't forget about God. Depend and rely on Him. God is teaching a different type of dependence.
3. Manna represents seasonal supply. Manna ceased. It was temporary. This is just temporary provision until I provide in a way that is more permanent. Instead of feeling anxiety with the manna, they should have expressed an appreciation--it is a miracle. We miss the miracle we are experiencing because we are looking for a miracle.
God's benevolence and generosity of giving miracles! Properly respond to the fact that God has me. Appreciate! Praising--> good manners.
The recognition of God's divine provision in my life. It is my organic and automatic response. Gratitude is the seed of more. The more you sow praise, the more God starts sowing back into you.
Miracles that God has already performed. Praise God for what he has done, and for what He is goinang to do. Israel mismanaged this season. What was intended to be temporary turned out to be 40 years.
Just because you are surprised doesn't mean that you are not prepared. You may not be feeling prepared but that doesnt mean that God hasn't prepared you for it.
God has prepared me for this! I didn't see it coming, but I'm ready. I was caught off guard, but I am ready. I don't prefer this, and I wouldn't pick it, but if God allowed me to experience it, I am ready for it.
God was getting me ready (red sea etc), and I am where I am because God has readied me! Are you going to apply what your teacher has taught you?
I cannot doubt God in the present when you look at how faithful God has been. Doubt is illogical. I didn't see it coming, but God got me ready for it!

Thanks Jesus. I heard the msg on Sunday. Was awe struck at " what is this". . Heard again two days later than again.. What, answer in the form of project & time of suffocating supply".. all this to prepare for abundance handling. & The reason long way so we do not return since habitual of complacency to the point that even slavery looks good.
Uhum ! Whole week I kept contemplating on where all it relates with my life situations.
God showed. He has been answering, but in what is this form. And my delays are God taking me the long road to make me strong n to help me see my potential. Eg.
I had been glutton. Fasting is a task, I kp faltering.but when God commanded . He has given me strength to fast 3 days n 14 days straight. In these days while he has bn preparing me for ministry.
