- Having visited all cities in England, I've put together a regional guide, ranking each and every one by house price from low to high. We start with South West England. If the format proves successful, I will cover the other regions as well later on. The information presented comes from rightmove.co.uk and its data pertaining to sold property prices within the last 12 months, so bear in mind this is time-sensitive, but correct as of March 2024.
All footage is my own, and originates from my flagship channel, 4K Explorer, which you can check out here: -- / @4kexplorer

Thanks Alex, just watched your North of England episode too. Very informative, great pictures and I appreciate your style.
Ah, thanks!
Thanks Alex, entertaining as ever. Nice to see some shots of Bristol, where I spent my university daze, back in the 80’s.
Ah, you went to Bristol University? Nice, must have been great for nightlife for one thing!
Delightful and so informative as usual , Alex. I was fortunate to spend some time in Salisbury in 1985...including participating in Christmas Eve service in the Cathedral. And spent time in Bath in the early nineties. Other locations new to me.
Wow, Christmas Eve at Salisbury Cathedral sounds magical! And Bath's amazing too. Glad to hear you've experienced them in person. :)
Excellent video as always. I agree that Plymouths good points can be overlooked, one you didn’t mention is it has one of the best lidos in the country. Keep up the great work.
Ah, Tinside Lido eh? I've not had a dip in there myself but it certainly looks nice!
Do you think the land for production plants also lowers in the southwest England ? As I am looking for cheaper land for factory useage
Thanks!
Thanks Dianne, much appreciated as always! :)
Great stuff Alex! A good bit out of many peoples' budget I bet, but interesting and fine visuals nonetheless. 🙂
Thanks! Certainly out of my budget, but I do enjoy a bit of window shopping all the same!
Plymouth is going through a major regeneration. And apart from Bristol, is the best.
I thought Bristol was in the county of Avon. Also according to Rightmove, Cheltenham just 8 miles from Gloucester has an average house price of £414.000 compared to Gloucester at £274.000
It was up until 1996, when Avon was abolished and Bristol became a ceremonial county in itself. Cheltenham does have a different vibe to Gloucester, perhaps owing to its history as a spa town.
Nobody mention Mr Bald, the most unpopular man in Plymouth.
This video goes up to eleven!
Haha, it literally does!
