Okay, long time Aptera fan here, with a few bits of feedback regarding the Aptera... 1. The center controls should have at least *some* physical buttons. Distracted drivers faffing about with a touchscreen is... Bad. 2. Rear turn signals should be amber or yellow. Red turn signals are too easy to confuse for braking. 3. It should have backup lights to illuminate the area behind you so that you can see where you're going at night. 4. When the driver shifts into reverse, there should be an audible indicator so that they know beyond a doubt that they're in reverse. 5. One of those white-noise, volume-adjusting backup alarms wouldn't hurt. 6. You should see Mark Rober's "most polite car" and take cues from the multi-vocabulary horn he designed. 7. Barium sulfate-based white paint reflects over 99% of visible light, and emits all of its heat in the infrared atmospheric window. That's free cooling! Okay, I guess that's significantly more than just a couple things, but... Keep up the good work, guys. Seriously. I've literally been following Aptera since the Aptera Type-1, back when it was a plug-in hybrid…
Aptera: Greek, meaning without wings. There is also a temple on the Athens Acropolis next to the Parthenon dedicated to Aptera Nike. Goddess Nike without wings
I really hope this comes to market. Now I'm normally not a fan of EVs, but this one I'll make an exception. It's a proper aero futuristic car with gullwing doors that seems to be actually affordable. Not to mention it's quick and has insane range. As a big fan of the Back to the Future series, this car would look right at home in bttf 2015. I want one of these now.
May many Aptera vehicles last so long that they make it well into the 23rd century (so one can be chronologically correct in the background of a movie scene at Starfleet Academy, lol!).
