*Note* I am not actually playing the song in this video! Instead, I am simply mimicking along to an mp3 due to the fact that this is meant to be an instructional video rather than a cover.

Found this easier than the long winded breakdown lessons, learned inside a day because of your vid subscribed and thanks.
You're very welcome! Glad you enjoyed the video!
Loved it! This is by far the best way I've seen these sorts of tutorials done. I love the scrolling tabs on the bottom. It blows my mind that I haven't seen this everywhere before. I hope what you're doing here will become the standard for how these things are always done.
Great job!
What an amazing tutorial thanks so much for that, this has been one of the songs I couldn't find a decent tutorial on for ages, so thank you and keep up the good work
your tabs are awesomeee, im using them in my Marshall MG15 and goes great

This is really a fantastic video. Thanks so much. I was really disappointed by the bullshit on ultimate guitar
🔥🔥🔥
Hey, awesome lesson man! Can i ask you a quick question? How to get that syncopated feel when playing the low E string in the intro? Do you use your left or right hand to mute?
right
Well use your freting hand to mute, its a good habbit to get into (tho after 4 years you've probably figured lmao)
More Muse plz
Is there a link to a pdf or something of the tab??
Que pedales usa para la canción??
Fucking loved your graphic. You fucking rock, fucking mat.
Good fucking luck for ya

I was thinking how did you manage to make your sound perfectly blending into the music then I saw this.
Hi amazing video! But I'd like to ask if there's a pdf for these tabs? I'd like to print it out 😅
Adam - Can you make a video for Muse - Glorious? Trying to learn it but having difficulties with some cords.
Thanks for the suggestion, Kevin! I can't make any guarantees as the songs that I make tutorial videos for have to meet certain requirements, but I will for sure add it to my list of songs to look into. Thanks for watching!

Are you left hand and you mirrored you playing guitar?
What is the configuration of the amplifier?
dude we have the same guitar, just mine is mirrored ;)
Yo bro I was thinking like can I play the intro till 1:02 and you play till 1:36 and I play again till 1:49 and you play from 1:49 till 2:36 and play the solo ill play the background rhythm and keep playing until 3:25 and ill play from there
really good tutorial. about what grade do you think this is?
Grades are grades, music is music. Both very different.
Just wondering the most important portion of the sound Muse acquired is within rhythm and more importantly their pedals. I was wondering what pedals you used in this song? It sounds super clean so I'm wondering if a compression pedal was used? They have that space rock sound which I heavily enjoy. DigiTech whammy, compression and fuzz pedal?
Not even sure if I hear the DigiTech in their or not. Their music is always super doctored with pedals. Would be great if you or anyone else could let me know though! Thanks for the video great ground work for learning the basis of the song n
@@nullnull7637 Hey, James! So because this video is meant to be a tutorial and not a cover, everything you're hearing is just the original MP3. All I am doing is miming along to the track and tabs, and I'm not recording any of my guitars audio at all (I wasn't even plugged into an amp when I recorded this video, haha!). So, I won't be able to help you any kind of advice on what types of pedals or effects to use! Sorry! But thanks for watching!
@@adamontheguitar I thought that the MP3 was just taking priority over the video haha. Thanks though! It is certainly in the right direction.
Sorry to ask but how do you slide from an open? I’m new at guitar
hi mate, just slide from a few frets above but just make it quick as you only want the start of the note to be the slide :)

This is sad as my guitar amp isnt great and i cant get it soundong like this.
What are your amp settings? been trying to find the correct one now for months! awesome work btw
Hey! I'm afraid I don't have the amp settings available for you. Reason being is that I am miming along to the original MP3 since this is a tutorial rather than a guitar cover, so everything you're hearing is the actual song. Hope this helps!
cheers
Hi ben, not sure if you're still looking for an answer for this, but you won't get this sound without a fuzz factory or something similar
Muff
What do you used pedal?
I doubt you'd know (or would even reply) but what pedals are used to get the tones at 1:49? And also throughout the song, too
Hey there! So what you're hearing throughout the entire video is actually just the original MP3 of the song. Because this is a tutorial video and not a cover, I am simply mimicking along with the tabs to the actual song. I'm pretty sure I wasn't even plugged into an amp when I recorded the video for the tutorial, haha! Hope that answers your question. Thanks for watching!
@@adamontheguitar ahh, ok, thanks for the reply!

Are you left-handed and have fliped the video or just reversed the Ibanez logo?
I'm left-handed! After making my first tutorial video, I had a few people suggest that I should mirror the guitar in editing because it they were more used to watching a righty than a lefty (which I thought made sense for a video like this), so I've been flipping the image around in every tutorial video I make ever since. But I'm a proud lefty in all my cover videos, haha! Thanks for watching!
Great tutorial man! I used this to help me learn the song - would appreciate if you could watch my cover... I'm a lefty just like you
Hey, thanks! Glad you liked it! Checked out your cover too and thought it was great. Always good to see a fellow lefty doing well!
I’m a little dense, how do you do the feedback?
There are quite a few ways to do this effect! There's a great video right here on UA-cam called "Guitar Feedback: How to Do It / How to Use It" that goes very in-depth with the effect and how to pull it off. Good luck!
I want a mf guitar so bad you dont know
Best tabs found , where are they from ? you transcribing ? thanks
How is this standard tuning
it just is
su guitarra es la misma que la mia :D
samorita nigga que pedo la mia tambien
La tab esta bien, pero el audio desfasado y confunde un poco.
Are you a left-handed guitarist?
I am a left handed guitar player! However, since this is a tutorial video and not one of my regular covers, I mirror the video to make it look like I'm a right handed guitarist in order to help the people watching the video (who the vast majority are right handed) learn the song. Thanks for watching!
me too... its pure agony to not be able to play other peoples guitar =(
original 1:1!
Eso fue facil XD
You’re a badass! Those 28 dislikes are from really really really stupid people.
Well, i just have classic guitar lol...
