aeg Dishwasher diagnostic menu to test pumps and motors

This menu is a kind of service menu, it helps to search wich motor is not working.for an AEG dishwaher.
To check all the motors:
To enter the menu : buttons Option and Program together with the power button. release the buttons.
Then click on the program button two times
Now you see the error history. (just the number)
Another click on the program button and you hear the first pump turning, next click you hear the next... so you can test all the pumps seperately.
Please test this on your AEG and leave your comment.

For the people who have the problem that the pump of the machine runs and runs but the programm won't start: It might help when you delete the error-memory of the machine. To do so:
- open dishwasher-door, turn OFF dishwasher (if not already OFF)
- enter the service menu (press and hold ON+PROGRAM+START until the 3 Led's start blinking)
- release the 3 buttons
- press button "Start" once
- now all Leds should blink
- now the error-memory is deleted
- turn off dishwasher
- turn on dishwasher
Now you can use your dishwasher as normal. This fix often helps, when you changed the pressure switch (Druckwächter).

I have been plagued by i20 errors on my AEG. Replaced drain pump to get it draining and then it wouldn't stop draining. Replaced the pressure sensor and couldn't figure out why it would still not work!
Your instructions saved my sanity!
On my touchscreen EDW1950
Hold down Program+Option until the LED's flash. Then press Option to reset and the screen will flash 888. Finally turn off and on again... Bingo

I replaced pressure sensor, but problem still persisted. Then I cleaned pressure sensor pipe/hose and bottom well chamber (where the hose connects) and after that it has worked. There was just food remains and junk in bottom well.
