I'm on the verge of picking this up. A bit pricey but a must have for me being a shaw brothers fan. I recently started collecting the 88 films shaw brothers blu Ray's and every movie in this set I don't own so 👌🏾 Could've done withought mighty peking man, never seen it and don't really want to. They could've left it out and gave up any kung fu movie. I'm going to pre order volume 2 as soon as I can. The movies in that boxset are even better. Great review.
Some of the movies in volume 2 are Invincible Shaolin, Magnificent Ruffians, Kid with the Golden Arm, Ten Tigers from Kwangtung, it’s listed inside the book under one of the trivia sections for cripple avengers.

Great review. I just received mine in the mail this morning. My only complaint is I wish each move received its own disc. How are the quality of the movies that have 2 on a disc compared to King Boxer which has its own disc?
Mine will be here in three days and I am hyped. Can’t wait to revisit a few of these and Mighty Peking Man and The Chinatown Kid will be first time watches for me. As will Boxer from Shantung…I think. Great review, dude.
Very comprehensive Flip. I always liked this genre but never really tried to add these type films to my library, but this set seems to be a good jump off point. I guess you pulled the chain on my pocketbook and this will be one of my first purchases of the new year.

It's a beautiful boxset, I was expecting it to be bigger. Hopefully they add The Avenging Eagle for vol 2. Thanks for sharing.

The double features are great and actually are my favorite discs in the set! No compression
