      have you tried Field Rocket at all? Jobber looks cool, but they don't have a free plan like Field Rocket so I'm curious what your thoughts are? We're just small and don't want to break the bank, plus I heard Jobber charges per user and I don't think Field Rocket does?

    I love the content, was thinking of using Clip ITC ( my partner uses it at his current job)but been looking at your content and like it. My question is, does it set up your routes for you so you ( like in google maps) don’t have to travel back and forth to each destination? Thank you in advance. Clip ITC does and if Jobber does it’s a done deal for me 👍

    This was great! Thank you. If anyone is considering signing up with Jobber, their service is great! It's the only CRM I've ever used in the service industry, so I can't give a good comparison... However, I can tell you that their customer service is top-notch. While it's easy to use, I've missed settings and whatnot when setting up employees... And when I need help, they are very fast and very friendly. The company I work for is in plumbing and it works great. It's easy to use, clean, reliable, and has many useful reports.

    Great video. quick question? Can I delay invoicing a job?
    Example. I do a bush trim job on the 3rd of the month, then a driveway sealing on the 15th. But I also invoice monthly for regular lawn maintenance. Can all 3 jobs be added to 1 invoice at the end of the month? Or does it have to be 3 separate invoices?

    • @mithgo_outdoor
      @mithgo_outdoor  Рік тому

      For your regular lawn maintenance you’d set up a recurring invoice. At the end of the month, or during the month, you can add single visit line items to that job/invoice. And then at the end of the month send one invoice.

    This video is so helpful. I subscribed! I do have a question, though. I'm considering using this for our glass & mirror shop. Is there a way to input prices per square foot? A lot of our quotes depend on the size of the glass and/or mirror and currently, we just have to manually calculate it.

      This "dummy" acct is the Grow Plan. Sending a receipt after payment is available in all 3 plans. As this series progresses I will make sure to be upfront if something I cover in an episode is only available under certain plans. This episode and Ep 2 that will air on Feb 1 cover all 3 plans.

    does this software allow for a range of time during scheduling? say 9am -12pm or along those lines? I can't seem to get a straight answer anywhere. Also, I noticed you chose a frequency of return service, is this something that you can change for your business or is it just weekly/bimonthly etc. Thanks for the video it was informative

    Maybe I will get lucky and someone will rely to my comment with the correct answer. Lets say after you create a customer profile and now are in the invoice process. How do you include vendors materials costs and then keep track of each entry and have it synce with quickbooks? Lets say at the end of the year my quickbooks report says I spent $10k at HD-Fowler. How do create a sub folder that break down each purchase and shows exactly which customer bought what? I could see myself at this invoice portion, but I wont know the total cost until I start calling around and getting quotes from each store / vendor. How do I enter that into a program instead of just taking notes and uploading that info as a general quote which cant be broken down into categories? Hopefully I worded that correctly.

Each invoice afterwards the number will increase sequentially. If this is not what you're talking about please shoot me an email are reach out to Jobber Customer Service.
      Jobber Payments - I won't be covering Jobber Payments in this tutorial series because it's deactivated on my demo account and I don't use it on my main account. Automatic payments are only available with the Connect and Grow plans. If you have the Core plan you won't be able to setup auto payments unfortunately.
