When i hear people say Harden is the best scorer the game has seen im like how quickly they forget, Harden is not on the same planet as Jordan when it comes to the amount of ways Jordan can scorer and how he scores in the clutch.. he has an unlimited amount of moves preprogrammed for any situation he faces. Dude was Another level.
Even those free throws looked like there was ZERO chance of missing. Talking about making it look easy! 🐐
Imagine MJ growing up with a 3pt line with his work ethic and mindset. He didn't play with it until the nba
He can do whatever he wanted to do with the basketball! Isn't it amazing?;)
Such a competitive basketball am i witnessing. Look at the athleticism and the defense of Jordan's opponents.
"Jordan, wrap around dribble"....."I can't explain what I just saw"

@@RobD-jq7ry I seen the not really, just telling story for those who still dont know
The way the announcers had to pause and collect their thoughts before continuing to try and explain it, was classic.
Michael Jordan was like a video game cheat code. I was very lucky I got to see him every night! The NBA hasn't been the same since he left.🏀🏀🏀
I just want to acknowledge Mark Price, one of the coldest P.G's to ever play the game ... Career cut short due to injury. He was doing Steph Curry type stuff before Steph was even born..
A true marksman
His 1st step destroyed many a defender
He invented splitting the double team. He's still my favorite player of all time.
He didn't invent this dribble. Lots of players did this already.
Literally Iceman George Gervin, Pistol Pete, Earl the Pearl, Oscar Robertson heck lots of old players did this.
Michael had good handles but it's not like Kyrie or Tim Hardaway handles.
Oh, but you don’t realize that his fundamentals, quick first step, and court awareness were more than enough to make him impossible to stop once he got going.
@MARZOSIRUAS I’m glad someone else noticed that. Cause I’ve seen footage of Pistol Pete, doing that move. Yeah they’re both different but MJ did not invent that move.
Any time some one is like " Oh Jordan is so overhyped , he was just a scorer. Lebron's the GOAT . Other stupid sentences here. " I'm just like " Awe , young buck , you never saw him play did you ? It's ok , as you get older , you will gain wisdom ."
Just listen to the commentators...and that's not even for scoring or stealing or anything
Lebron can definitely carry a team better, Kevin Love and Kyrie aint nearly as good as Scottie and Rodman, im sure if Lebron had Dennis and Scottie he would have won 6-7 in a row
@@knotsbillington4840 what?!😐
U can have ur opinion , but that's disrespectful towards Kai and Love and kinda ignorant considered the fact Rodman was way out of his prime...
lebron is inferior to at least 50 other players. he isnt even that good at handles, shooting, or brain function. those people have no idea about basketball.

The 80s Announcers: 🤯🤯🤯
For such a basic thing you really don"t see it to often. It is impressive.
Lol I’m a 5’7, 29 year old white guy and I do this same wraparound dribble when I’m playing pickup basketball with my friends haha. It’s honestly not that impressive at all. What’s impressive is genetics- having a very high intelligence like Einstein or Newton… or in Jordan’s case, being 6’6 with freak athletic ability
Going around your body to the same hand isn’t basic at all.
@@charlesg7926 No you don’t. Stop making crap up.
@@charlesg7926 I agree with Ryanator, I doubt that you do wrap around to the same hand. It's not natural, your first instinct would be to wrap around to your opposite hand. This is why it's impressive because happended instinctively to the same hand efficiently.
@@ryanatorryanson9535 I guess I mean the wrap around is basic but you're right, that little same hand wrinkle in the move makes it not basic.
Dr J,Pistol Pete made such moves too🤘
They said they seen it before but from
Right hand to left not right hand to right hand that’s incredibly difficult.

MJ handles is very underrated. He gets to his spots and finishes like no other. Never seen anything like him before. Kobe tried to replicate but Jordan is head and shoulders above everyone else.
OMG I use the wrap all the time. One of my favorite moves
Michael could usually dribble equally good with either hand because he was Amphibious.
*ambidextrous
@@joseramilarce7831 Yeah. That too.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😅😅🤣😅🤣😆🤣😂
Jordan is so good, he’s a reptile lol.
He's the GOAT, not the TOAD
That move became a regular drill at my basketball camp during my high school days 😆
I appreciate this era bc things were original back then
And not soft. Damn I miss those days where players get head to head in the game
This move isn't original. Like many of his moves, MJ got this from Pistol Pete
For anyone that played basketball on any level, you know how hard this is during a game. 💯
Invents? Hey, Mr. Michael Jordan Archive, you should check the Pete Maravich Archive lol
Right, MJ could b greatest ever but let’s not give him credit for moves done by others before his time, the nba didn’t start when MJ got drafted
Pistol Pete is so underrated
People forget all the old smooth great players , the earl the pearl spin , George Gervin finger rolls , Maravich passing and shooting from anywhere , Dave Thompson leaping ability . Jordan just strung it all together with huge natural ability and hard work .
Yeah, Pistol Pete was a wizard with the ball, so was Earl “The Pearl” Monroe, Walt “Clyde” Frazier, Jerry West was fundamentally sound, so was Rick Barry, and in terms of dunking, people forget about Connie “The Hawk” Hawkins and Daryl “Chocolate Thunder” Dawkins.
He is not saying that MJ invented the move. He is bringing a video from the mid 80s where the commentator says that he hasn't seen that move before, so for him is like MJ invented that.
The announcers reactions makes this video priceless.
MJ #GOAT
Facts...
A beautiful game he played
Holy sh*t. That's crazy.
He was just on a different level
Jordan.
None before. None since.
The man is a perfect storm of a basketball player. Elite athlete. Hand eye coordination. Mentally tough. Fundamentally sound. Mad improvisor. Off the charts competitive. Resilient and relentless. Consistent. Made teammates better. Thrived under all circumstances: the Triangle, Dream Team, two comebacks, as a high flying dunker, as a point guard, as a half court assassin, and most of all undefeated in the finals.
Michael blows his nose... 👃
Announcers: OHHH SHIT!!! I HAVE NEVER SEEN THAT, YOU TYPICALLY WIPE OR DAB BUT TO BLOW!!!
He always did something new. That’s what made him great
This wasn't new at this time though. Pistol did this before MJ even played.
It wasn't just the jumping that made MJ Great. It was the handle the footwork ..the attack mentality
He was going left while doing it so he’s his right hand can reach that he’s already going in that direction.
Invents is a strong word for that. Had a friend do that same move in middle school earlier in the 80s because he couldn’t dribble with his left hand. Necessity is the mother of invention.
The black cat!😘
The fucking announcer was so confused…. I just love how he had to admit he don’t know what MJ did for a second
Gosh I miss these days when I ACTUALLY had respect and watched the NBA.
The finals this year was a new hope. Once LeBron is out of the league, maybe the NBA can return to respectable ratings.
Not to be rude but the nba doesn’t care if you respect them or not

0:11 Jordan hits left hand "hurts it" clutches it real quick, then recover wraparound with the right to the left side catching the ball on the left side with his right hand. Then driving all the way to the rim. Wow
damn it makes more sense why he wrapped it back to his right
After ur comment I had to go back and look. All I can say is “ILL”. He did it out of necessity. Not showboating. That makes it ten times better. Just raw instinct. That’s one of the reasons he’s the greatest.

Go watch the Pete Maravich instructional video on dribbling and look at all the crazy things he could do. He was like a white Jordan when it came to razzle dazzle ball handling and even Jordan would tell you that. The Globetrotters even offered Pete a million bucks to play with them and he's still the only white dude to ever be offered a spot with them as far as I know. It's actually not that hard if you're skinny though. Especially if you're moving to the left and going behind the back with your right, like MJ was there.
And against Mark Price you have to come up with something good
Behind the back dribbles seem flashy but is a solid fundamental b-ball move that protects the ball and disguises explosive sudden change of direction that leaves defenders behind.
