This plane reminds me a lot of the Nihon Aeroplane Company YS-11. The ATP is much quieter and looks lower in profile. This plane has PW engines. The YS-11s operated with Rolls Royce Dart engines.
hello Frank Clautier, I'm admin of the modelkitindo channel, I ask permission to hanging this video on my channel as a teaser, and I will enclose your channel name on the video and link in description ... thank you
You have GOT TO LOVE them turbo-props!!!...goosebumps
Thanks for the video Frank, I used to build the ATP at Bae Woodford in the 90s...
the YS11 was similar to the ATPs predecessor the HS/BAe 748 also powered by the Rolls Royce Dart engine
Reminds me of my cabin crew days for British World Airlines. We flew a fleet of 6 ATP’s. Great aircraft. Really miss those days. 😢
beautiful airplane this!!!
@eminere The engines are different in that the F50 has PW125B engines, while the ATP has the PW126. The props indeed look almost the same.
That was fantastic!
Hi, that's correct, it has a large cargo door at the left-hand aft.
Reminds me of my days as part of the first prototype (G-MATP) flight test team :-) Happy days.
Great capture - Thanks.
This reminds me of Air Malta back in the early 90s, they use to lease one 😌😌
Magnificent!

Great video! I get tired of seeing these types of video taken with camera phones...
@JustProps It's a Sony HDR-HC7E, with an external microphone. Cheers, Frank
This aircraft is beautiful 🎉🎉❤❤
@eminere It's a British Aerospace ATP, also known as the Jetstream 61.
Sata, anyone?
Very much enjoyed your clip and impressed with the quality. Can you tell me what camera you used?
Best Regards
Biman airlines had 2 of them but they have been retired.
