Awesome job! When you opened that sliding door, it really took my breath away. The simpicity of the whole thing is amazing. Thank you for inspiring me to work on my minivan. 🙂
Very attractive interior layout. One question: how to you check the oil level? On Previa's, unless there's been some change I don't know of, the driver's seat has to be tipped back to access the dip stick. How is that done in this build, with the refrigerator up against the driver's seat back?
As always, you have built a very efficient, practical camper, with all the amenities without the over kill. Makes me wanna get ride of my camper and downsize lol
I commissioned to build and am thrilled with the way it turned out. I recommend a set of road tires if you are going on highways mucch more than off road.
Nice, how do you like yours so far? my neighbor has one a lil beat up he's selling for $500...I'm thinking of offering him $400 for it and converting it. Im worried about putting a lot of money into the interior and then the van stops running though. Although it still runs well.
I bought my 91 Toyota previa last year with 140k from original owner gave me all the service receipts and all. Runs like a champ but I recently started having a oil leak from I think the head gasket or something. But when I drive long distances I looks like Cheech and Chong are driving haha
My dad’s side of the family LOVES Previas, I own a 97 glacier green metallic which I’ve always wanted to convert. How do you access the engine with the fridge being there?
@@maceyvaughan3498 No, I can do it the way it is, but if someone needed to access the engine compartment without the seat in the way, it takes 2 minutes to remove that cabinet. It's a squeeze if I leave it in, but doable without too much effort.
Previa owner here. Access doesn’t change as a result of this build (as far as I can tell). One still gets to the motor via the panels under the front seats. The engine is all forward of the new floor. It’s not in the doghouse of the 80s Toyota Van.
oops you never want to kill the battery power off when the diesel heater is running, instead you should first hit off on the heater control, panel so it can cool down with the fan. otherwise it could melt the spastic housing on the heater.
Sir, I have previa 1996 S/C. I looking for loading the boat , for Tacoma read end , What is Product mode , where I can find ? you also add the electrical wires for breaker light! i need to attach one small boat (OP ) trailer for my son, please advice me. please
awesome! i have a 92 5 speed awd and have put in the sub floor but love seeing the lift kit you used and larger tires. I imagine you have to remove the front driver seat to check/change engine oil?
The drivers seat just tilts back. you don't have to remove it. I just sold a 93 awd with 285,000 miles on it. Regretting selling it but even wiper blade refills becoming hard to find. Great awd system even better than my Tacoma in snow.
I love it! I own a 96 s/c previa in this exact color! I hope my van can one day look as amesome as this one! What is the brand/model of the front coil overs used? I am also trying to fit bigger tires but the stock spring perch is an issue. Thanks for your help and inspiration!
@OttoEx Hi, I would really love a response to this comment. I bought this van and the front coilover struts are now due for replacement (since June really) but I have had the most horrendous time trying to find a pair to replace what was put on by OttoEx and when I reached out myself they could not provide any helpful information. @Matz0123456789 what did you end up using??
as far as I know, Journeys stopped selling the lift kit but you can make your own with Sienna front struts and Tacoma rear shocks and a variety of springs, including those from an old Ford Mustang. You must also lengthen your front brake lines.
С умом на такой нужно ездить, двигатель под водителем поддон можно пробить. Я у себя раза два цеплял но без последствий а так да прёт грязь,песок... Рыбалка,отдых
I don't know the actual cost of the build because I bought it with the solar lanal, lift system, roof rack, towing hitch, and oversized tires already installed. I set aside about 20k for the rig and it came in under budget.
i have one 1997 toyota previa.already, we using it 24 years. still same as a brand new van.

A Previa 4WD with a lift kit !
Now I've seen everything !
Lol
This is the perfect build for the Previa. Makes for a very unique and functional overlander.
As always, you have built a very efficient, practical camper, with all the amenities without the over kill. Makes me wanna get ride of my camper and downsize lol
Very nice and simple. Everything one needs to survive.
i got a toyota lucida 4wd turbo diesel, exactly the same like previa
I commissioned to build and am thrilled with the way it turned out. I recommend a set of road tires if you are going on highways mucch more than off road.
How does the Previa perform Off Road??
After watching the Earth Roamer Expedition truck this interior looks very unique it takes that one person to love it…
Just bought this same model and this is exactly the direction I’m looking to go with! Excellent build!

How much is a gasket job on these sounds expensive
Check also the valve cover gasket, and the seals on the distributor. There are easy and cheap fixes.
@@TheChuyDewy I second the valve seal check. Just replaced mine. I live in LA and they just crisp up in the heat.
That is freaking badass dude!!
I really like how you used the oem cupholder! This is awesome!
Wow that’s a fantastic layout
Great job man 🎉

How do you access the engine with the fridge being there?
Excellent fit, finish and function! An inspirational build.🤘
Glad you like it!
Some helpful ideas for our previa buildout!! Thanks. But I’m curious at how you would access the engine from beneath the front drivers seat.
I built mine to have a removable cabinet behind the seat, making it easy to get to the engine.
@@GotMountains right on. Thanks! We ended up doing something similar!
@@GotMountains You remove the counter and fridge to do an oil change?

I just bought a 95 Estima that I plan to use as a camper van. This is the exact level of build I've been thinking of, thanks for showing this off!
That thing is awesome. Absolutely love these.
goat build, dream to own one. amazing!
Whats the cost of this build up?! Do you guys sell ready vans like this too? or do you customize?!
If you don’t mind me asking what was the cost of something like this?
Really cool video, how straightforward was the installation of the fan in the roof please?
Im about to start building one myself. Thanks for the inspiration
Wow super awesome!

Very nice。 Question: did you fish the wiring or remove the headliner and reinstall it?
Wow, im jalous. Car look so Nice ❤
Please how did you mount the roof rack and what kind is it? I have a smooth roof previa and need this to mount my solar panels!
Nice conversion
Super Build 👍👍👍👍👍
What coilover did you guys use in front?
Why was this never answered
Nice, but how do you flip the driver's seat back to change the oil now?
It's tight, but it can still be done!
Where does the diesel heater exhaust dump out? Through bottom? How did you seal it
Looks amazing but at the back where you have the kill switch the space would of been better of used as a toilet room

who did the roof rak?
Love the fan
Love it!
Gonna get a journeys kit for my 93. What coil overs did you use?
Once you get the van what is the average turnaround time before it's finished? And I must say I am truly impressed you guys are Craftsman.
I have a 1991 Toyota Previa …. What do you think you can do with it so I can live in it….? It has a new engine in it that’s about 4 years old
I really want one in AWD but found a 1992 Estima Luxury 5 speed turbo diesel ⛽
can pop tops be installed? do the back seats fold flat into a bed?
Nice work How much did it cost the customer?
A lot of people are asking the same question and they don’t answer

How wide is that bed setup?
Neat build. 👍 Where is the diesel heater exhaust piped to?
Thanks! It's piped out back under the rear bumper
Love it!!! what's the model of the heater?
Thanks! This one used a generic off brand chinese Diesel heater
What is the cost to build one of these solar if I was to buy it from you?
Did you think about how to reach the engine from the top? Previa has an access door under the passenger seat, you just blocked it.
Still completely accessible and serviceable 👍
Silly.... Nothing changed to access the factory service areas.
Cost of build please I have a 1995 super charge toyota previa
I was hoping to see the diesel heater. But no luck.
Can you list the techie components

Any chance you’ll come to Hawaii to help me build a previa?
Nice. Does that heater vent somehow?
Yes! Intake and exhaust for heater come out below the van.
How much was the built?
Hello, she is beautiful and I like her model 1992. We ask you for the type and number of the wheel cover and the shock valve. Thank you
I believe those are stock Previa alloys.
OttoEx, where are you located and do you build out the Sienna vans also? I just got a 2007 Sienna for converting and i love your style.
We are located in Portland, OR. Feel free to give us a call to discuss :)
Really nice; something I am looking for.
But, would it be cool enough in the summer for a small dog, to be inside for a couple hours alone?
No! All the glass gives it a green house effect. I have had three Previas including the one I am driving now.
Gotta do mi 92
Мне для охоты и рыбалки подоойдет
