THE KING OF SOUNDS!!! IM SO HAPPY FOR CJ. Want him to finally succeed and get what he deserves by doing what he loves to do. Want to see him live so bad.
The chorus sounded familiar from when CJ was in Lorna but I felt like CJ was the one that really introduced that to the band in the first place. I loved this song and think it even topped the other two they put out.

@cursedxatxbirth666 I prefer CJ and personally think Will is really overrated. He's a great vocalist but there's others that are easily better than him. And I don't think he matches CJ with the low gutturals either. Death Portrait is still like my favorite song of all time because of CJs vocals.

@cursedxatxbirth666 Exactly😂. Their last album was honestly kind of mid. Their music isn't even dark anymore it just sounds like "positivity" deathcore (Cursed to Die and Pain Remains for example)

I am with Mat. I had the same thoughts about the first half of this song and I was like: na it is a generic deathcore song, nothing special. And then came the breakdown and I was like: wtf is he doing?! The breakdown won me over so I heard it a second time and I am in love with this song now!

Why would he drop it? He was doing it on Immortal and would probably like to have kept it going. They droped him because of the allegations of sexual misconduct. Thats fucked ofc but all i'am trying to say is this is his style of making music and thats why he started Immortal Disfigurement.
He doesn't need to drop any style he helped create. He heavily influenced the sound on the entire immortal album.

This song reminds me of Lorna shore a lot. still really good and the breakdown is amazing.
Here is my take on the song. It’s good but somewhat generic. The breakdown, aside from the notorious “clicking” sound, was cool because the riff structure was more unique than the breakdowns I can remember.
So the song didn’t really stand out too much, from what’s been being released by them and by others, it just felt a bit too familiar.
It’s hard to break new ground when EVERYONE is attempting something new each release.
CJ deserves all the luck in the world. King of deathcore no doubt. He has been through hell and deserves all the good that comes his way. Immortal is the best deathcore album I have ever heard. CJ's vocals are so brutal yet clear at the same time. Very very unique. God Bless You CJ.

He's too petty. Even his lyrics are petty and lacks substance compared to the real shit that Ramos writes. Shallow people will call it cringey but it's way more poetry and not just some petty generic "fuck this, fuck that, i'm king and you're not" lyrics that everybody else writes.

CJ is talented… no argument there however, feels like he’s trying to recreate Lorna and is pushing so hard to prove he’s as good as Will. lorna used to play this style since Tom, they always have been well know for being blackish and symphonic shit, (just listen to flesh coffin era) Cj is just on a mid level, on top of mid level but mid, on Signs of the swarn he was ok cause the style was way different mainly focus on the instrumental, will is a beast in every aspect and it was the correct vocalist to Lorna, thats why they got the success and recognition, "is not my opinion. this are facts"
None of that is right whatsoever. Flesh Coffin was like progressive metalcore dabbling in deathcore with some rough choir, strings, pianos type of thing. CJ vocally is far superior to Will who is actually mid but has talent for sure. Why that had to be explained is beyond ridiculous no comparison on the vocal front. Signs incorporated some symphonic but it was more about the instrumentals.
And everybody knows that CJ is literally responsible for LS being on the map. Did we forget their best album to date "Immortal"? Will came in and rode the coattails of CJ on their upward trajectory of popularity. PR is a good album but suffers from too much repetition in multiple ways. Which is a fact and while Immortal did as well it was better composed in the end.

In my biased opinion I think CJ is better than Will and that cannot be disputed.
