Heck yeah, it's my favorite genre! Also, as a long-time watcher, I value your opinion here- do you think I should branch out a little into other types of vintage-inspired music? (I was considering more popular bands like Saint Motel, and fun performance groups like Steam Powered Giraffe.)
@@JazzandTea those artists you mentioned I had no idea who they were so I just skimmed their their music a little and I say sure, it might get those who don't know about those genres or groups to see who they are (like me)! Jazz and Tea! Yeah I got his music from another amazing vintage UA-camr Jessica Kellgren-Fozard! What are your top ten electro swing songs??? (Any artist!)
Like, this part in Moonshine, and just about every part in April make me feel like I've got tidal waves in my insides. I feel like running or dancing (even though I don't know how to do either)!
The original album version has a better flow and it builds better to the point when the trombones and trumpets come in. Even though the difference is less than 30 seconds between mixes.
Thank you for this! I've been looking for someone who reacts to electro swing music, and have found it is lacking, so this is wonderful. Also, the Correspondents Inexplicable showing up is wonderful.
My theory is he turned into the donkey when. Entering that world, like he became his universal counterpart there and he's the donkey in lone digger since the cats died then and the fly just served him without hesitation. Just a theory
The nod back to Lone Digger made me go back and watch its music video again. On a related note, now I remember why I don't usually watch the Lone Digger music video.
What's crazy is that I don't mind the gore or the strip-club atmosphere of the video. It's the combination of the sex and violence that really squicks me out.
1. Okay I just found your channel and I am in LOVE! You are one of the only people I know who reviews electroswing. Glad to know there are others 2. I think that this video was a breath of fresh air for Caravan Palace. I’ve become used to the risqué content, but this was nice. However, when it comes to Supersonics (my fav), they will not hold back. It’s like they’re softening us up.
@@JazzandTea I uhh, still haven't gotten the chance to get the first one ^^; but I'll know it'll be good, I love what's within the blurb (plus I'm a sucker for evil like organizations or dystopian governments which is what sounds like the USA turned into)
@@thekeeper1287 It's an alt-history. While the story is ultimately about a talented young seamstress who joins a traveling show to save her mother, she lives in an alternate 1945 where the United States took a hard nationalist swing instead of a socialist one after the Great Depression. The quality of this video is so good but I was suprised you don't have the amount of subscribers I'd suspected... Plus we have the same music taste so... *subs*
Well, I'm a kooky housewife with a very niche interest... as far as sub numbers go, this is about what I'd expect. But I LOVE it because I feel like I really know the delightful people who regularly comment here. To borrow a sentiment from jacksepticeye: "470 subs? No! 470 friends! 🥰"

Going back to this video. I have a question, does caravan palace's robot have a name? I mean it's their mascot. It's only ever been known at "that robot in caravan palace videos" especially in rock it for me when it was first built.
Infinity War is the most ambitious crossover event in history
Caravan Palace: Hold my carrot drink
I was legit shocked. I knew there was gonna be a twist in this one, but I never expected the Lone Digger Cats!
