What if I had 26 students in my class?

I'm not understanding your question. I used to have three classes of around 30 students each. I've also done jigsaws with adult groups of 100+. Is there a more specific question I can answer?

i think the jigsaw method cannot be applied within a class of low achievers and high achievers ..it would be a catastrophy for the teacher.

That’s a very interesting comment. I’ve conducted jigsaws in this manner. It begins and ends with the expectations of the teacher. Low expectations yield low results. Take care. 🤓
