I'm not visually impaired but my friend is. She bought one of these and couldn't work it and nor could I. When I turned it on it was 7% charged. My friend had charged it all night. I put it on the power and tried to use it again and it became 6% charged. I couldn't get it to read anything.
Can these read ingredient list on food packaging (necessary because i'm extremely allergic to specific ingredients) I have to pass up a lot of thing at the grocery store because i can't figure out if it will cause me to go into anaphylactic shock.... or street signs to identify your location? what is the range/distance that it works..? or isle signs in grocery stores? Can it read prescription labels on bottles, or read markings on a syringe to get dosing correct? what about the glucometer..? All the examples you gave are nice, but not necessities.. The test is, will it read the critical things i'm having trouble with.. I want to live with independence.. This grand advertisement showed me how to read the news paper.. LOL there are other options like TV or Audio news on youtube.. Please address real life needs in the next video.. not things many consider non-essential information. thanks how long does the battery last? that is essential to know. :)
