He really just spent an entire eight minutes explaining the outcome of a 50/50 possibility of a storm that hasn't formed yet?? Like beating a dead horse that hasn't yet been born.

I'm confused I thought Helene was named earlier today or yesterday and was going towards North and South Carolina and affecting all the way up the Chesapeake Bay and then wherever it goes.

PTC 08L never attained all tropical characteristics, so it wasn't assigned the name 'Helene'.
