L'Egare ll is a raft that left Halifax in 1956 to cross the Atlantic, and succeeded, 88 days later. In this account we meet Captain Caleb Kean who encountered the raft on Newfoundland's Grand Banks, and never forget what he saw, and whom he met. Principally the raft's creator, Henri Beaudout. The men meet again and what a story they tell!
