My wife had a stroke, I was driving home at 3:30 am from the Hospital crying and crying out to God when this song came on the radio. God knows what I needed to hear at the right time. This song got me through the next couple days as I held on to God and His promises singing it over and over again. By the way my wife is almost totally healed from the stroke yet she is better than she was before the stroke. God is good all the time, not because we are good but because He is good no matter what.

I have some dear friends that live in Uganda. (Iyaa Dominick) They had been told for years that they couldn't have children. So, for 9 years they prayed and believed God to answer their prayers with a baby. While they waited on the Lord they began to take in orphans, when I met them they had around 20 orphans all different ages. They were called to open a orphanage and a school. After nine years they were blessed with a baby boy, and since have added a girl and another boy. They have started a school and still care for orphans. They under unbelievable valleys and sorrows, but their faith is outstanding !!! They need prayers as things are really bad there now as is the whole world. Please keep my brother and sister in prayer as they serve the King. 🙏🙏🙏

Brother, thank you for this song. I come from a small town in west central Missouri. This song takes me back to my roots with the banjo, but you hit the nail on the head with this one. My family and I have been going through one heck of a storm for a little over a year. When I heard this song I broke down because I was overwhelmed by the duality of the song. It reminded me that The Great I am is always holding on to me and I am holding on to him for dear life. I know that the storm will pass and he will still be holding on to me. Keep up the great work and God bless you all.

I listened to this song many times while visiting my husband in the hospital, It reminded me that the I am held on and even though my husband passed away the I am never left me. My husband was only in his 50 and im in my 40 and we have a 4 and 5 year old, Thank you for this song>

Thank you! The first time I heard this song I thought "that's me, I'm an orphan holding onto God" and how desperately I need to hold on. But then yesterday, we had extreme stormy weather with tornado warnings, wind of 50 to 80 MPH, hail damage, & intense extreme flooding. After hours of staying at work, I decided it was time to drive the 30 miles home in the deep darkness of night. The rain was coming in sheets, poor visibility, wind gusts and pretty stormy. I turned on the radio to hear "In the middle of the storm I AM holding onto you, I AM" - WOW - God spoke - He was HOLDING ME in the middle of the storm - not the other way around! I was reminded of His faithfulness and praised God in the storm!

Hi my name is Abby and I'm 11 and sometimes I have doubts that God is real and the devil has been coming up in my face but then what I did was tell God about my troubles and He has been helping me with that and showing me that He is real and so it's just like what you said having that Hope to hold on to and that we have access to the Creator of the universe. Abby, it's been 5 years since you wrote this, you're 16 now, I'm praying that you're still turning to God when you have doubts. I pray that you're still clinging to Him for all things. I know what it's like to be a 16y/o girl. And in today's world, it's even harder. This world is not easy to navigate and still hold on to Christ.
