I was in prison the first time I saw this on the Christian channel. It literally stopped me in my tracks and I cried. Everyday i looked for that video to come on just to sing along with it

It's not about him, and you can tell. He doesn't promote products, services. Part of the video just shows his back. He's about God, and his music is his worship. That is what makes this song great, what makes DC so very special in the music industry.

There's just something about Crowder's voice. He sounds completely broken, but simultaneously there is power behind it. This and his versions of "How He Loves" and "Deliver Me" just throttle me.
Just the raw emotion every follower of Jesus knows and loves. So refreshing to hear worship music the way it was meant to be played.
I will be honored to meet this man in glory and to worship our savior together!
David Crowder... that man is truly an inspiration, he has such a passion for God that it's amazing. He doesn't care about how he looks, what he does, he's so down to earth and... just normal. He's amazing in concert... He'd be awesome to just hang out with lol.
I remember the days of the young David when he was still a shepherd, taking a break and sitting under a tree singing lullabies of soulful worship to his flock. Oh how the angels loved that moment when young David would sing his heart out.

1. Why you here? Only because you can be big and bad over the internet? That's lovely. 2. Yes. Crowder is going into Blue Grass style of music. This song is an acoustic version of what he has already written before. Side note: Folk style Christian songs have been around for a long time. Just because your JUST now discovering this doesn't mean that it is new. Might I suggest a good book or maybe some fresh air as it seems the internet is getting to you.
