Dude's so humble, modest, and freaking nice. He's a legend and one of the greatest. I've always gone to see a movie if he's in it. He's never bad. His work on The Sopranos will stand the test of time for decades to come
💯
Tree’s lounge and ghost world. Two of my fave Steve Buscemi movies
Who doesn't love Steve Buscemi? He's got such acting charisma you've just got to watch him. 👀
He really is so likable in all of his movie roles even as the bad guy in Fargo he was still likable
I love Mr Pink
Billy Madison
As great as he is in comedic roles (Big Daddy, Billy Madison, etc) he was stupid good in "Con Air" as a psychotic mass murderer. Unbelievable actor.
Steve is my favorite, any movie he’s been in I’ll watch and he usually quietly steals the show. Of all my favorite Hollywood actors he’d be the only one I’d like to sit with have beer and talk to because he’s such a sweetheart of a person. Thank you for the great podcasts I enjoy them all David & Dana✌️🫶🏻
He doesn’t live in Hollywood, lives in Brooklyn, see him all the time. Chill neighborhood.
Love me some Buscemi! I always heard that he was a great guy and this podcast proves it! Keep up the good work Dana and David! Yall are giving us fans a great place to go every week. Can't wait to see what you have cooked up for Friday!
"Well, the little guy, he was kinda funny-lookin'."
"In what way?"
"I don't know, just funny-lookin'." - Everyone who ever described how Steve Buscemi looks. I love Buscemi.
I absolutely love Steve Buscemi. He's a fabulous actor. He can play anything and make the character completely believable. Can't believe he started out as a firefighter. Wow. Love firefighters too!
"I saw a rabbi on a pogo stick!" Hahahahahaha!!!!!
Great interview you two. Also, hilarious because I think Steve Buscemi talked for about 17 minutes of the interview.
Ghost World is still my favorite Buscemi movie. He's not the main character but he steals the movie.
I love everything I’ve seen with Steve Buscemi. Boardwalk Empire is my favorite.
Oh it was truly great television! I love that show. ❤
Love that show! Wish they would’ve talked about it when he was on that.
Love hearing Buscemi as your guest! And, I am one who enjoys the audio only content. Works for me.
Just finished Boardwalk Empire for the 3rd time. Brilliant series and the fact that Buscemi stands tall amongst such a stacked cast shows his ability.
Nucky Thompson himself. What a magnificent series Boardwalk Empire was.
I just realized that whenever I see Buscemi in a movie, I immediately bond with whatever character he's playing.
Even the guy from Fargo?
I have loved you guys since I was 10 and Comedy Central started playing the reruns in the 90s. I didn’t get everything at the time but I was 100% engaged. I get it all now, so don’t worry.
I've loved Tree's Lounge since I 1st rented it as a teen in the late 90's. Loaded with tons of actors that would later be on The Sopranos and Copland.
AHHH the good old days of going to a Video rental store… you looked forward to every Friday in Jr. High, because you knew You were going to rent movies for the weekend! Sometimes a friend or friends would sleep over! And It was even better!
They get the best guests, Steve Buscemi legend
Steve Buscemi rocks so hard. Great actor - great human. Thanks for having him on!
Steve is a galactic treasure.
All Filmmakers need to see LIVING IN OBLIVION . Starring Steve Buscemi.
Great movie! Not talked about enough.
"Box of Moonlight" is another good film from that director.
@@billriddle9215 gonna peep it. Thanks.
LOVE THIS EPISODE !!!! STEVE IS THE BEST !!
Love the pod, love David and Dana, both geniuses.
In classic style, let's start the interview off by not asking any questions and not letting the guest say anything for almost 7 minutes. Putting money down that after Spuddly's monologue Dana will jump in w his own long winded story and we'll get to the 15 min mark w/out really hearing fr Buscemi
GREAT DIRECTOR......
CANT WAIT FOR THE LISTENER.....!!!
The fact that Steve agrees to do ridiculous Sandler films I feel means he's a grounded, good guy
I see him talking to people on the street all the time. So nice and charming to the neighbors.
Tony Blundetto! Sopranos AND Boardwalk. Legend
You missed talking about “Coach Bert”, one of the top 20 sketches in SNL history!
DAVID not remembering if the STEVE Buscemi was in BOTH growns up was not a great start to the podcast DUDE !! LOL YES STeve ! we all adore you !
They don't prepare for anything. It's embarrassing.
@@ErikPortland
.
THAT'S NOT TRUE !! Once in a while they "prepare" by watching a Y.T. video or two beforehand of when the guest hosted on SNL ....... 😄
.
Remembering Norm!!!
Please!!!
~♡~ All of you are so funny together. ❤~♡~
❤ Steve in everything He was hysterical in The Wedding Singer!
Reservoir Dog, Fargo, Airheads, Big Lebowski, & tons more great stuff !
I love him! always have.....such a treasure.
He sure was great in the film "The Island".
Steve Buscemi looks like Kevin McCalister (from “Home Alone”) all grown up
Where has this channel been hiding?
Im already hooked!
Mr. Buscemi is such a kind, clear to the point, and handsome Gentalman! He is a 💎 in the midst of all the Hollyweirdo's. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
May his Life be Filled with All of God Blessings⭐️🫶🏽🙏🏽✝️
I saw him in NY stories and they did a article on him in the original Details. Then he was in Armagedon. Good for him. Fargo was so good.
We love you, Steve Buscemi ❣️
Steve's appearance on Gilbert's podcast had me laughing so hard, trying to pronounce his name. So funny. Thnx guys!
Hell yeah good to wake up to
I ❤❤❤ Steve Buscemi and David Spade!!!!
If it wasn’t for this Pod, I wouldn’t workout. While you guys are shooting the shit with the best of the best I’m busy exercising. Thank you for the Moto!
I love Steve Buscemi. I wish they would have talked about Boardwalk Empire.
Hello my name is Chet! Welcome to the Hotel Earl, my name is Chet!
You're not mister black. Some guy on some other job is mister black... you're mister pink.
Mr Pink is my favorite Buscemi role.
Mr. Pink : Hey, why am I Mr. Pink?
Joe : Because you're a f**got, alright? 😂
Why do I gotta be Mr Pink???!!!
It's Mr. Purple that's a guy on some other job. They don't get to pick their code names because everyone would wanna be Mr. Black.
Donnie: “I am the walrus?”
Dude and Walter: “STFU DONNIE!!!”
Steve Buscemi!!! My fav actor of all time next to Billy Bob Thorton
I got to meet all 3 of you outside of the Sandler thing in DC, and it was a thrill. Buscemi was a bit intimidating.
The Marieta Mangler... "I've got the whole world in my hands"
I'm sure this is dumbest question, but have you guys reached out to Bill Murray yet? I would bet that would be the GET of ALL TIME!!!! I hear he has a toll free number you can call! 😁
Good god man Dana just can not take in one of David’s stories without trying to one up it. It’s insane. INSANE
Love Buscemi; NYFD. Great episode.
Another great one. 💙💙
Great episode!
“When u started wrestling guys, was it harder”…105lbs 🤣
Most ppl at this point dont even rember how intense he was. Adam Sandker tyrned him into a comedic actor and thats what most ppl know him for.
Boardwalk Empire is the best show of the last 15 yrs…the acting is off the charts
Do more Pods Steve!! Good stuff
Would have been cool if we could have talked more about Steve versus everyone he has ever been in a movie with 🤷🏼♀️
Three great Buscemi movies: Ghost World, Living in Oblivion, Delirious.
Good ones
How to I get to see the podcast vs listening to it. I love the program!
David and Dana should go back and listen to the first half hour of this “interview”
No Buscemi- plenty of rambling Spade. Love the podcast (mostly)
yup
Mr. Buscemi and his toof. I have never heard any crappy behind the scenes tyrant stories. So Steve is still awesome to me.
Lovin the Dana and Daweed adult maggots on the wall show.
That was good fun.
Did you ever able to get ahold of John Lithgow?
First time I saw him was when he told the Story of El Mariachi in Desperado
Great chat. But did I miss it or was Boardwalk Empire not discussed? That is a great series.
I'd love for you guys to bring him back and ask him about working on The Sopranos.
Also I would like to ask Mr. Dana Carvey if he's going to be in the new Spinal Tap.
23:18 a hostile witness is not someone that gives a hard time- it is someone that ends up testifying against the party who has called them to testify. Example: kato kaelin for OJ Simpson
Today's guest.... legendary actor Steve Buscemi! Let's talk about Grown Ups. Lol
Jk ..love u guys!!!
Best episode of Golden Girls yet! 😘
Lmao 👏🏾
24:00
Dana called Steve old like 5 times during closing and insulted his looks. Dana is 2 years older than Steve. Jealous? I couldn't click faster to listen to this.
Ask Steve about Boardwalk Empire next time
NUCK NUCK NUCKY!!!
Quoting my favorite SB line from "Armageddon":
"I'm a f___ing genius.".
Well, that sez it all.
Just saying.
I haven’t listened yet. I just need everyone to think what my name would be if i married Steve Buscemi.
Shoot.
My first name is Demi. I’d be Demi Buscemi
That’s funny.
This is not going well… I’m sure Steve thinks this is a waste of time. Usually these two hit it out of the talk!
Boardwalk Empire. ❤
Anxiety, no shit?
🏌️
Buscemi / Pesci buddy comedy..
boosh's voice has changed over time. very different from reservoir dogs and airheads steve. or even wedding singer.
They gonna let Buscemi speak?
Steve is too nice to cut in 😂
"And then there was three girls and it got hard"
It was nice to get past the Sandler fan fest.
Love ya Spade but its not about you!!!!!!
CONAIR yo
The most underrated, most ahead of its time, most forgotten of all SNL's greatest hits, is Steve Buscemi as the Mad Hatter, out-crazy-ing the other tea partiers with lines like "I make race cars out of my poop!". If we thought Steve was our new favorite actor after seeing Fargo, his SNL appearance sealed that accomplishment.
I always wonder about the feet?!
The first 6 1/2 minutes is essentially a story about fucking Grown-Ups that has almost nothing to do with Buscemi. You can barely hear him muttering in the background. What a total waste of an opportunity. BUSCEMI was the one to bring up Miller's Crossing and that didn't even pique the interest of Dana or David. Was there anything but a brief passing mention of Reservoir Dogs? Nothing on Ghostworld? Jesus Christ. Oh please, give us another 1:32:00 of Bill Simmons sharing his pop trivia genius while (I imagine) staring at himself in the mirror and masturbating, or hey can we get another 1:34:00 of Bert Kreischer schooling us on how brilliant comedy is skillfully assembled. < crushes empty beer can into head, slams head through glass coffee table >

Love Buscemi, Holly Caca Spade, hope you listened to this & realized!
Leave a dip why????? $$$$man
Great actor but this is a bit of a sleepy episode.
You know if you post the videos of these podcasts you'll get way more views and subscribers etc..
I think a lot of these top tier guests aren’t interested in being seen on zoom.
David Spade interviewing himself for the first 6 and a half minutes for some reason....
Snorefest
