@@EverythingPlants I can't really complain in pretty sure all my antiques need to be refinished BC they contain plants which definitely leave their damage esp if you spill a bit 😬 but I remember before my grandma died her telling me to use the furniture and not just baby it BC she let it be a burden to care for instead of something to enjoy. She also loved plants 😍
The moment I saw this Barrina Floor Growlight from one of the videos of 'Plants By Melissa', I go straight to Amazon Canada and ordered one; highly recommended for its quality and price. I am happy that you have one now.
Your videos are so good, very informative. I'm currently looking for the proper growlights for all my houseplants in my tiny house. Hello from Kansas City 🖐
Thank you for the video. I bought this grow light a little over a month ago. It is perfect for my needs. I like this light so much I bought another one over the weekend.
Thanks for demonstrating this model ~ it looks streamline & super-effective (would love to see a mid/dark green casing option). BTW, what a beautiful grand piano! Your basement is a little like a mystery tropical island that slowly reveals itself :)
I do like this light in the fact that it is very comparable to mother (stats are almost exact) but the stand is horrible! I hate using it as a standing light so I’ve decided to use it horizontally as a light for my hanging plants. I prefer to use grow bulbs in a multi-head adjustable floor lamp for my floor plants. The lamp can adjust with ease as the plant grows and you can point the bulbs any which way you need.
This video was really useful! I was a little concerned that it might be too bright when I saw it on Amazon, but it looks like it's a good medium light. Great for getting leaves on plants to face the way you want them to.
I am going to up my grow light game beginning the first of the year. Grow lights are very expensive so I'm happy to see something that works and is affordable. Will this light work for any plants wheather on planks, moss poles, or just hanging
Hi Jeff, love your channel. I always learn so much from you. Just starting to experiment with a few planks, and just set up my first D shaped moss pole. Hopefully it turns my plant around. Anyway, after seeing this video I ordered that light immediately after. Just received it today. Looks great, hopefully my plants will love it.
I got one of these bad boys back in October and really like it. I’m in Alaska and the darkness is real here. Works great for a fraction of the cost of them overhyped mother lights.
That grow light looks amazing! Just what I need! Hopefully I can find it here in Aus. Love the piano too Jeff. I have a black Baby Grand myself....not inherited, my parents bought it for me as a reward for persevering with lessons😆I've had it for about 40yrs. Now my daughter uses it and she's a much better pianist than I am. Yours looks vintage and I love its vibe. Do all the keys still work? Did you use that for the musical ending to your videos 🤔 Thanks for sharing👍🏼
Hey Connie. Yes, everything on this piano works wonderfully (for its age). I also have an upright Yamaha which I had before receiving the grand. As for the video ending, that is not me but I have purchased the sheet music and I hope to play it in full some day
The actual lamp is from Amazon with a soltech vita bulb. The goose neck lights are Sansi .... Also on Amazon. I'll leave the US and Canada links here. amzn.to/47sGX82 US amzn.to/465DN9F Canada

For supplemental side lighting this thing is going to work much, much better than a sansi, for a handful of reasons. Honestly, for $55 shipped (current price to my door) this thing is a good deal. The stand is built in, it covers a wide vertical area, it would be really easy to work around...
@@kkmeilicke in order for him to achieve medium bright the plant had to be less than a foot from the light. You won't get medium bright over a large area.

@@windyacresway how large of an area does the sansi cover at the same light level? Not that large and probably not as evenly spread, and you're buying a fixture.
Yeah I kind of knew it wasn't going to be a high quality light, but it will definitely be okay for the type of plants I'm using it for... philos and other aroids
Grandma's happy you got the garish clamp lamp off her piano!
I know haha

This looks like an affordable option from the mother lights which I cannot afford. Thank you Jeff
Ya. I'm happy with this light for sure

I have no idea what candles mean. I'm very green about them. I just put them on and let them shine for a few hours, ( maybe more)
Foot candles are just a measurement of visible light (brightness). Sounds like you got things working lol
Not very strong.I get much more foot candles with my 15 watt sansi bulbs.

Not super bright, but medium bright over a really large area. Another advantage is you can use it vertically to get leaves to face into the room.
