The Rescue 1 is a 2019, Ladder 6 is 2024 and Engine 6 is 2022. We hope for 10-12 years as front line piece before we replace them. Some last longer some don’t.
@@Stargazzer811 Your in an Aerialscope basket and need to rotate members what happens Pumper has to stop pumping, Bring the basket down, Switch out go back up Pumper starts pumping (again) Now the Ascendent, No waterflow stops one member goes down the ladder one comes up I just think it's more efficient
@@JoeMama3006-7MM Guess what, you can do the same thing on an Aerialscope. There is a ladder on the boom that you can use, and that's been a thing all the way back into the 80s when Baker made them. The only advantage (which really even isn't one) is that the Aerialscope ladder is technically for egress only while the pierce of shite ladder is made to be climbed like a stick. If I gotta get to the bucket of the Aerialscope and its still elevated, I'm not waiting for it to come down. There's a perfectly good ladder right on top of it I can use and will use.
@@Stargazzer811 I know there's a ladder on the boom all I said was "I'd hate to have to climb down one" and even though you CAN do it I know you wouldn't like it and in these days I don't think a safety guy would let you climb down an aerialscope ladder unless you had a harness on that thing is basically for emergency only.
