I have a question then. Well besides Nia being back in the game and now being a queen. Which..how did that happen? Did we ever figure out how Nia and Melia became queens? What do you think the timeskip between the previous games and this one is.
Well Melia was empress of the high entia and it could just have been that when the world was recreated the people of Xeno 1 decided to unite and just make her queen of the land but for Xeno 2 no clue
blades and titans have long lifespans, but they don’t live forever and also will lose their memories over time. pyra/mythra probably chose to die alongside rex, so then that leaves successful flesh eaters as the only “true” immortals. and successful flesh eaters are inconceivably rare, nia probably being the only one. nia becomes queen because she ends up knowing the most about the world. as for melia, i think that’s obvious. she became empress of the high entia, and once all the races came together as one society, her high status among the high entia transfered over
Well Melia it makes sense because she was already queen of the remaining high entia and maybe people eventually broke down the barriers and all fell under that umbrella. Nia on the other hand is a weird case, a lot could’ve happened and we frankly have no idea.
2:42 the Mechonis Sword still has the gap from when the Annihilator, well Annihlated it! Wonder if they’ll fix that in an update cause that kind of really breaks the lore even if it’s an accident.
Oh my gosh i noticed this and scrolled into the comments to see if anyone else did too! That's a hilarious inconsistency and yeah I really hope they fix it cause it makes no sense xD
I've got a better question: how the _spark_ (lol) did she come up with the name (Agnus = lamb, Keves = also lamb, I'd think that's what the Moebius would come up with, not the queens)
@@Minako_Meleph Torna, Xenoblade 2’s side story was a prequel, while DE got a sequel, honestly more interested about 3’s side story, could give hints towards the next installment or flesh out characters even more
I Don’t know if this addressed since I’m not finished the game yet. BUT I like how Z attacks and captures Melia. As it’s stated that Xenoblade 2 side is naturally tougher then their counterparts in Xenoblade 1. We got a really strong high Entia. Which at their core are pretty much Homs/Humans. With a group of Homs defending her. Nias side you have arguably top five strongest blades in Alrest (Bridgette and Mythra if Mythra wasn’t weakened by the separation of her and Pyra. Jin and Malos) Being driven by arguably the greatest driver on the planet. Who can call to might the Flame Bringer, and a living lightning bolt. And the Aegis herself. Again depending on how much being separated weakened Pyra and Mythra. Yes Shulk and his Monado replica EX. But at their core, you’re going to want to pick a fight with a massively depowered Shulk. Over a full powered Rex with two Aegis's and Nia any day of week.
It’s also said in XC3 that to keep up with Agnians, Kevesi need power frames (those circle things on the Keves characters’ clothes) since they’re physically weaker than Blades, and since most Agnians are seem to share genetics with Blades (most of them have Core Crystals and are inhumanly tough and strong) it makes sense
If you do actually know Catrin Mai-Huw (how do you pronounce her last name?) personally, please let her know we love her work in the Xenoblade game series. Her voice acting was a thing of beauty in Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and 3.
Funny how mobius do not know what nia is as a whole, did they really think a blade could die from being stabbed in organic body parts, jin is the only person who could kill a blade
To be fair as a Flesh Eater Nia theoretically has lost most of her natural regeneration, along with her immortality. Just so happens that her flesh eater ability is crazy cellular regeneration. Plus there's an unclear amount of time between the first two games and 3, knowledge of Blades and Flesh Eaters could have easily faded, especially since no 'traditional' Blades are around in Aionios and Nia is probably the only successful Flesh Eater left.
@@noodle4542 nia still has her crazy regeneration, just not immortality (though shed still be much older than a mortal). And her crazy regen is just enhanced by her healing abilitied
The story is full of plot holes and inconsistencies; Showing a flashback of the X1 and X2 worlds before they collided, yet the landmarks in the background are clearly the same as the present day Aionios (even the Mechonis sword has the hole that just got blown up durring the main story). The two worlds are first depicted as planets, then as universes and then back as planets again, its as if the devs themselves couldn't decide what they are supposed to be. And even the explination that the worlds from X1 and X2 were once together and then they seperated only to come back together again completely contradicts the entire story of those two games.
Other than your first point which was clearly an oversight you're completely wrong on everything else. When the universes split they were 100% identical then split off into their own futures as explained by Nia. Then when they started to come back together they started to overlap once more like tracing paper. And no the explanation that the world's from X1 and X2 once being 1 universe then seperating only to come back together does not contradict the original story because this was literally explained in XB2. When Klaus activated the trinity processor he tore a hole in reality ripping it in 2 including himself and Galea/Mayneth, because that wasn't supposed to happen, once the conduit left XB2's timeline the cosmos started to heal itself like a bloody wound. The story isn't full of plot holes, just giant holes in mechonis sword.

blades and titans have long lifespans, but they don’t live forever and also will lose their memories over time. pyra/mythra probably chose to die alongside rex, so then that leaves successful flesh eaters as the only “true” immortals. and successful flesh eaters are inconceivably rare, nia probably being the only one. nia becomes queen because she ends up knowing the most about the world.
as for melia, i think that’s obvious. she became empress of the high entia, and once all the races came together as one society, her high status among the high entia transfered over
@@SuperEljafru Well Melia I can understand. I was just wondering about Nia. Either way thanks for letting me know.
Well Melia it makes sense because she was already queen of the remaining high entia and maybe people eventually broke down the barriers and all fell under that umbrella. Nia on the other hand is a weird case, a lot could’ve happened and we frankly have no idea.
The musical callback at 1:50 had me crying
I like that the pod has a similar form to the pod Kos-Mos lies in
The only spoiler I'll watch, Nia was obvious
Melia looks gorgeous, no surprises there
If Nia is here, then what happened to Dromarch?
his head is in the doorway, it's likely just a statue in his honor. it's quite possible that dromarch is either dead or with rex.
Yooo drifting soul omg I got so excited
2:42 the Mechonis Sword still has the gap from when the Annihilator, well Annihlated it! Wonder if they’ll fix that in an update cause that kind of really breaks the lore even if it’s an accident.
LOL true
Oh my gosh i noticed this and scrolled into the comments to see if anyone else did too!
That's a hilarious inconsistency and yeah I really hope they fix it cause it makes no sense xD
I get so much chills from that Xenoblade 2 Score! "Drifting Souls!" I almost started shedding tears.
Anyone else notice the instrumental of "Drifting Soul" playing after she woke up?
You know it!!
It was great seeing Nia again but is there a story about her being Queen of Agnus though?
Prob just did over time becaose of her knowledge and kindness. Would you not want her to be Queen? Haha
I've got a better question: how the _spark_ (lol) did she come up with the name (Agnus = lamb, Keves = also lamb, I'd think that's what the Moebius would come up with, not the queens)
@@ArinJager1 I wouldn’t be surprised if she thought it just sounded cool.
If a Xenoblade 2 Definitive Edition happen one day, Monolith Soft could do a Future Connected equivalent to explain that, I guess
@@Minako_Meleph Torna, Xenoblade 2’s side story was a prequel, while DE got a sequel, honestly more interested about 3’s side story, could give hints towards the next installment or flesh out characters even more
My head just exploded and a big smile just came on my face
It’s funny to see how this game resulted to this because. If you think about it look at the picture for the game on switch then xenoblade 2s image
They both have the titan in them just in 3s version it’s on the side of the sword look carefully
Omg the galaxies merged just like the Milky Way and the Andromeda galaxy will merge in a billion years
Look at how Nia talk at the beginning. That's the old Nia we know right there hahaha
Meeting Nia in this game felt like reuniting with an old friend
i remember grinning like an idiot during that first scene lmao, welcome back nia
0:52 ah nia. Still the same. Absolutely love her
fun fact: nias voice actor is my drama teacher
If you do actually know Catrin Mai-Huw (how do you pronounce her last name?) personally, please let her know we love her work in the Xenoblade game series. Her voice acting was a thing of beauty in Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and 3.
What a bunch if newbs. Aim for the core crystal next time
A cute detail is that, i believe in nias pod room, theres a statue of dromarch somewhere.
Even if hes gone, he watches over his driver to the end.
A great video to have in your recommendations while you still play the game and haven't reached this part 😂
@@noodle4542 i mean, most Agnians are technically Blades, but not in the traditional sense, yes
@@noodle4542 nia still has her crazy regeneration, just not immortality (though shed still be much older than a mortal). And her crazy regen is just enhanced by her healing abilitied
I find it funny that Nia gets shot and you arent even worried about her if you played xenoblade 2.
Yeah I noticed too, the story is a convoluted mess.
You did not understand anything, surely you do not even know that Origin is literally Noah's ark
@@legendarywolf4882
Stupidest thing I've ever read 🤦♂️🤦♂️. Move on.
@@legendarywolf4882
Ugghh, what 🤦♂️🤦♂️
Other than your first point which was clearly an oversight you're completely wrong on everything else.
DLC for this featuring Poppi snoring during Cloudkeep cutscenes $19.99
My kitty has grown up.
HALF MORBIUS?!?!?!???!?!?!?!??
Yes because of Mio and M merging with each other. So Mio’s Iris is half Aganian on the top half and half Moebius on the bottom half.
Bruh as soon as I heard the Welsh I was like y a s m y q u e e n r e t u r n s !
It's a shame for nia. She lost everyone including her husband rex
wanna bet origin core is Ontos and Pnuma, Mia clearly said contain all world data, and we all know what it is, from species to culture, so uroboros and mobius use power of aegis, i mean its obvious the way they united become one is like Pyra and Mythra
Can't believe she gets Zephirin'd like five minutes in
Bruh I can't wait to play!!!!!!!
i play now bro
Nice one on spoiling yourself
@@jayjaysheroah2485 It's ok in my opinion, beat the game already, not going to start a new game. Xeno2 is much better in my book.
But what happened to Rex and the other main characters of Xenoblade 2? Why Nia and Poppi still alive while the rest don't?
They died 😢
The theme that plays....is the same theme from when she confessed to rex
(stunned stuttering)
One of the quotes of all time
wait wait is that melia too?
Yes.!
this is the biggest spoile of my life. not even me crying about shodow in sonic 2. I'm actually not sad but happy
What happened with Dromarch?
Goddamn it, now it's spoiled for me.
I wasn't even looking for this; it just showed up in my recommendations, and I wasn't even searching Xenoblade!
Ain’t no freakin way I was right
Imagine if Nia died right there. I hadnt played XBC2 Before this, 😂😂😂😂
The music when you enter the cloud keep😭😭😭😭
5:23 Tora!!!!
The pod she sleeps in e.e ik it turns into a damn bike just they choose not too XD
I may have forgotten but where did Z come from? I thought he was already part of Origin? Why did he need to capture Melia in order to control it?
its probably like how the trinity processor was made to govern the conduit but still needed a real person to activate it
@@pizzapoosta yeah that's the conclusion i came up with. thanks !!
Likely to bypass limiters placed by the queens.
Way I see it, Z is more or less a side effect of the collective souls within Origin. They formed a physical body and ego to bring about a completely stable world, but had no control over Origin's systems without the access either queen can grant.
Nia is still around! Dang where has she been again
3:25 oh shit. That I think is the fallen arm form xenoblade chronicles lol. I just know it’s form 1
Eryth sea
I completely forgot about her power..
Oh shit ima cry seeing this connection!
Does anyone know the music when she explains the state of the worlds?
It's Melia Ancient memory
Mio, Taion, Sena: your Majesty
