- Episode two of the covers! Here’s a traditional fiddle tune sang in the stylings of Tommy Jarrell, yelled at the scenic White River valley of North Arkansas (my backyard). Key of F# and a bundle of fun, keep an eye out for a semi-weekly batch of these covers around my dang ole mountain home. Thanks Rusty Creek Forge for the belt knife. I'm only commenting so that the algorithm puts Nick out there
I second that.
Thanks for doing that, since your comment he has come into my life and changed all my musical tastes

Me too! He’s the business!🤘🎉
I bought my first banjo today. I get home and see you have uploaded this. It's a sign. It was meant to be...
Your one purchase ahead of meh 🙏😂👍
yeah, rock it man!
I'll never forget my first Banjo. Hours upon hours of fun and heard work went into it. My mother said almost stayed up the whole first weekend but as life goes that Monday my mom had to take it back we weren't exactly rich. So I saved up all my chore money for a whole summer, cutting grass for my hippie neighbors all kind of work in the jungle in their basement. Along with singing on the corner for nickles at the end of the funnest summer ever I had made what I needed. All excited my momma took us to the store and I explained to the gentleman what I wanted I told him all about my experiences with Banjo before. What I had accomplished he said in those shirt three days was nothing more than a miracle. I had this guy hanging off every word I may have been exaggerated a tiny bit but then it happened he said son now that's just amazing k sure wouldn't mind coming to see you play one time , so here what I'm going to do let just say you and me say we found this old here Banjo in the 50% bin out first of many little secrets. I said yes that's awesome thank you sir do you wanna see me play it now and he handed me my very own Banjo to me ? He just put his fingers on my lips softly whispered Shhhhhh no I'll wait till were alone. St that very moment my mom slapped his hand away looked the Blockbuster employee right in the eyes and said I always knew you Were some kinda creep Jeremiah's Stretcher, just sell my damn kid the video game and don't you ever come by our house or I'll kill ya! And that's the story of when I got my very own Banjo- Kazooie for N64
@@MrJesusHKrist Wow. This is incredible. I applaud you. I was not expecting that! Haha
How is the banjo coming along?
The good lord has blessed us with a Southern Mac Demarco.
No comparison at all lol
Why compare... also midwest. Lol
@@traashkingbapapear1425 hes from arkansas
Traash King if arkansas is the midwest then california arizona is the northwest
I like Mac demarco. Nick is much more talented though!!
Mate im so glad youtube is a way to find real country. She'll never die while fellas like you can upload. Cheers from straya havin a beer for ya
Have another one for me.
Ken oath 🍻
I swear with headphones it sounds like this is happening right behind me
Nick’s got a built-in amp in them lungs
The banjo is so underrated. This was lovely.
When Nick plays, I hear a fiddle & bow, in the fire lights glow, I can hear that lonesome sound. I leave behind my trouble in mind and go the whole world round.
I see you camera man, nice job, you made the piece.
When it's done well, nobody notices. In camera editing takes skills!
I spent a lot of time on this porch. RIP GK. I hope Trish is well.
RIP GK! A hero of mine and part of the reason I was able to make it out and sing these songs in the world, he supported the shit out of my efforts to be a traveling music person in so many ways, may that porch live forever. Trish is chugging right along, thanks for the views and well wishes to the family of my dear bud Russell
No spindles or handrail.. gotta be country livin. Miss the mountains
Im gonnae move to the highlands in Scotland from the city of Glasgow just so I can learn to play the pipes and fiddle and yodel just like you hahaha , love this music you are a true talent Nick

In his brow brown rockerchair sitting on the porch ♥
Snake boots, buck knife, mullet, everything you need
Boom. Roasted.
He’s got it all. Don’t he?
Man, you're amazing. Big big love from South Africa!! Thanks for the music you make, it makes my days better!
White folk here in America are praying for the white South African peoples
So beautiful to me that American mountain music has made it all over the world. Melting of different cultures and experiences being enjoyed by people just as various as who contributed to the creation of banjo, and mountain music generally really makes me smile.
Howdy from the Ozarks.
@@ms-hi9hs what do you mean by that? is something happening in south africa?
Good Lord Nick!!! I've recently found your music and I'm telling ya, you gotta put out more clawhammer banjo magic! I've been clawing for about a year and a half and that was a dang good ditty. Love your style
