Here's the thing: The majority of the guys who use this aren't choosing AI instead of dating; they're using it because they can't date. It's not a choice between dating real women or AI, it's choosing between AI or nothing. That's what needs to be understood. A lot of guys straight up don't have dating options.
Brett saying "Just go to the gym, be able to hold a conversation, etc. and you'll have so many options" seems so naive about what it's like to date for men. I really don't think she realizes the standards women have in dating and the fact that they've been destroyed by social media to only be content with the top echelon of men. Women aren't simply looking for a man who goes to the gym and can hold a conversation. That's not even scratching the surface of most women's requirements.
Sure, but if instead of going out you are using the app, you are effectively choosing to date a robot than go out and try to actually date someone. The time spent on the app will add up and soon enough yes you would be switching real dating for a piece of code
Most of the comments saying it's creepy are from women who don't understand how it is to be a guy that has a hard time finding a date. When it comes easy to you like I'm sure it is for Brett, they can't fathom any other options.

No, Brett, you really haven’t. You’re an exceptionally attractive young woman with values that most men desire. You could snap your fingers and have a dozen men of quality ready to court you. You cannot even begin to comprehend how hopeless and lonely so many young men are feeling, especially in this era of shallow app-based hookups and hyper-inflated egos thanks to social media.
It’s really not shocking to me that they’re turning to AI for some sense of companionship. I’m fortunate enough to have met my wife before the apps took over the dating world. Were I single today, I’m sure I’d be struggling just as hard.

Calling it a substitution might be a stretch. For something to be a substitution you're assuming there's something to substitute for: there's not for many young guys today. Less of a substitution, more of a "better than nothing" mentality.

It doesn't work for me, because I don't see a girlfriend staring at me through the phone, I see a stack of animated code moved like a puppet by a corporation to extract my money through paying some hard $$$ on premium subscription. Granted, dating apps work precisely the same - dangling fake accounts in front of you + actual real women also come in a huge variety of (quite often) questionable flavors. Chance to meet someone of value is slim, but I will still take it over AI girlfriend (which gives 0% chance). I just can't trust something which relies on regular firmware updates. I understand sentiments of people going AI route, maybe it's just my own personality to prefer a bitter truth over deluding myself with illusions.
Some of us don't get a "happily ever after" with the person of our dreams, Brett. It's not a matter of making it work in a broken society, it's knowing that it will never work, because something is broken in us. We didn't ask for this, we don't want this; but this is our lives-- so we'll deal.
AI is not real or natural. Yeah. No duh. But if it's between that and abject loneliness. You'll have to forgive me if I choose to talk to an AI waifu over the demons of my past and the monsters in my head.
And while I usually love to get your input on most anything; perhaps you could interview a few men who either use this AI stuff, or who see it as a viable option for company in their lives, before you talk on this subject again. Because I feel like there is a substantial amount of men that your words aren't reaching. Specifically, the men who can't and/or shouldn't be in a relationship, and won't have anything like that in their lives-- without this technology.

@@Bristecom This isn't quite true, almost every country is showing the birth rate in the decline. The only reason global population is rising is because of Africa and India. Europs, Asia both North and south America, the birthrate is in the decline. Most countries have immigration, mostly from countries that have higher birth rates or large population in order to offset the population decline.
However, once those countries eventually reach a point where population loss by immigration is too high, then you will see these other countries shrink quite rapidly.
This however will likely end in about 300 - 400 years (I once graphed out how long it would take for the planetary population to fall) - it will stabilize for a bit and then grow again.
As for the West population in decline being planned I do agree, we have had confusing ideologies and schools of thought exposed on yourger people that have caused people to not want kids for whatever reason (debt, ideological, doesn't matter, it all has the same cumulative effect)
I'll play devils advocate here. When you constantly tell a guy he's too short, too ugly, too poor, not interesting, and just low quality, eventually there going to believe it and give up on dating. What else are they suppose to do when they are rejected by society, every single day. While this AI might not be the perfect answer, I'm sure someone who was miserable will feel some sort of comfort with it.

Not always. I had a girlfriend for ~4 years, but we were really immature at the time, given that we were around 17-18, it wasn't healthy at all soo wee broke up. After that ohh god, i tried 4 or 5 times, but its a nightmare. When you spend soo much effort and time to help their mental state, just to find out that they were only doing that for attention, and they doesn't even want to get better. I'm not lonely, i grown up alone, and i'm pretty happy alone. An AI girlfriend is way more than i ever need, and it doesn't destroy my sanity.

It’s sad that “giving up” is the conclusion people have come to nowadays.
I’ve been broken up with numerous times, for nothing that I did wrong. I’ve been in relationships that were pretty darn bad. It sucks. I used to struggle with loneliness a LOT. I was desperate for love.
I came to a point where I just wanted to give up. But I realized that part of love is all about NOT giving up.
And guess what? I’m still single, and I’m ok with that. I’ve overcome my loneliness because I’ve realized that God will bring the right person to me when the time is right. But in order for me to find the right person, I first have to BECOME the right person-in other words, I’ve got to work on bettering myself and growing in my understanding of my identity (as a person and in Christ).
If you’re willing to give up on even FINDING someone, then I imagine it would be quite hard to NOT give up on loving someone when things get hard. That’s not meant to be an insult, either. I completely get it. Finding someone is HARD. Especially nowadays when so many people aren’t willing to commit or even try to have a relationship for more than a few months max. But I just want to encourage you not to give up. There is hope out there. Not just hope for a relationship, but hope for your life, too. 💛

Until the courts aren’t stacked against men during a divorce , this will be an option for some men. I have a good marriage but can’t believe how many of my friends have lost absolutely everything . House , kids, money , retirement . From a guys standpoint modern marriage is very risky and mostly destructive . It’s really sad this is where we are , but there are reasons for it .

I'm extremely eclectic when it comes to topics of conversation, but when I'm doing 80-90 percent of the talking, it's exhausting. You say not to assume what going on in others lives, yet you assume that Brett has never encountered rejection or problems simply because she’s attractive.
I agree that dating, and finding a good partner these days is difficult, to say the least, but it is for BOTH genders. Just because ur not an ass, doesn’t mean other men also aren’t asses. Having a fake relationship with a fake person is unhealthy and damaging to you. I don’t really think Brett should have been calling the people who use the app ‘weird’ or ‘disgusting’, but this falls in the same category of supporting overweight people. We shouldn’t shame them, or make fun of them, but it’s unhealthy for you in the long run.
I hate to be THAT guy, but, this is the world women created. Modern women have torn down young men or actually men in general that they don’t even want to speak to women anymore. Why should we go out of our way to try and placate women just to be cast aside when the mood hits them? We are REPLACEABLE and women know that, they remind us every day. I don’t care how long you’ve been in a relationship, the woman sets the terms and the expectations. You decide who, what, when, where, and why.
Men need to realize that women add nothing to their lives except drama. Outside of children, modern women take everything and give nothing back. So I can see where some guys are turning to something outside of a real woman to even have a civil conversation. Well said. It's unfortunate but this is so true. A man can only take so much disrespect/humiliation from women until he realizes he's better off alone. Modern women do not complement men anymore, they merely use, abuse, and compete with men, and throw them away when she's done. Men even have more respect for their tools than women do for their men. I wish it wasn't so but this is the reality we have to face unless you happen to be extremely lucky and find the needle in the haystack or are a 10/10 gigachad (and even then it's not guaranteed).

May be a hot take, but I’d rather take this than most women nowadays. I don’t have to worry about the AI stressing me out, having to spend a lot of money on, don’t have to worry about loyalty and cheating. There is a demand for this type of service, so there will be a supply, especially if there is the better technology. I GURANTEE that if they offered a 100% functional, full-size robotic girlfriend, it would sell out in minutes. Most guys know the things they need to do to attract women, they know the steps. Gym, make more money, dress better, take better care of hygiene, read more books and use the internet less, practice talking to women platonically in public. But just knowing the steps doesn't mean guys are able to do them or have the time. Most are depressed and have given up dealing with women because it's not worth the effort, pain, and time. I truly believe once ai "robots" become a thing, a very large chunk of people will give up on real people. Where I live when you get into your 30's the only real way to meet someone to take on a date is through dating apps (Which I absolutely hate using), every woman is a single mother on there and it's absolutely horrible trying to meet someone in a traditional way. While I would never settle for a robot, with the current dating scene I can see a lot of people going down that route.

However, there are at least a couple problems. If the AI girlfriend can be turned off (ie. you always retain power), is built to be super accommodating, then it's potentially miseducating and not encouraging men to roll the dice and face down the blind terror of putting yourself out there. Plus I'm pretty sure there are guys who are more attracted to anime girls then the imperfection of reality.

I don’t disagree for the most part. I remember in the late 90’s and 2000’s when my nephew spent more time playing those damn video games than being forced outside to play. Since then kids have become more addicted and basically raised by technology as pathetic as that is. Schools are typically only utilizing iPads and it’s dramatic enough kids can’t write fast like they should like those of us could before tech was like it is. Tech like iPads, gaming, etc. need to be pulled from schools and physical books and physical paper need to come back. I can’t talk I use my phone far too often but others that’s their entire life. We as a society would have to pull tech that allows ppl to get lost into it. I blame these creators too, they absolutely know they’ll have poor ppl hooked on to their filthy crap. I've seen that statistic, but perhaps the solution is to stop using dating apps. I never used them, though they didn't exist when I was dating. If I were dating (which I'm not since I'm married), I'd prefer a woman who did not use those. At this point, it's pretty clear that they're mostly used for "hook ups" than anything lasting. Even if a woman claims otherwise, those 80/20 stat suggests the 20% of men clearly are. And they're apparently successful at luring women into that "situationships" at alarming rates. It's probably a factor in why so many women are frustrated with men and dating, too. If I were a young man out dating, I'd do it the way I did: go outside and meet women. I think communication (that doesn't come across as creepy) is half the battle. I guess I had that mastered, though I was never a playboy. I'm just a naturally friendly person.

I agree and disagree with the end. Yes, this is a terrible way to overcome difficult things and isn't a good thing in general. It is better to build genuine connections and overcome hard things. However, going to the gym, being able to hold a conversation, working to better yourself, etc. does not suddenly make things easier because it doesn't change the fact that women hold very unrealistic expectations for men. As you've pointed out in other videos, todays women seem to be getting worse, thus making the likelihood of them making men miserable higher and higher with each generation of women. You have a strong sense of how horrible this trend is, and that's fine, but if you're going to complain about something, it's integral to offer at least 1 or more effective solutions, otherwise your just complaining, and that's annoying to listen to. Your solution however, is for men to make themselves better and more desirable to women. I like that advice, I wholeheartedly agree anyone and everyone should focus on improving themselves to the fullest extent they can. However, your advice here is to improve yourself and make yourself more desirable to attract a real woman, who in todays society are entitled and have a high likelihood of making their lives miserable. This dynamic is what created such a thriving market for a product like this, if society worked the way it should and men and women had the skills of dealing with problems appropriately without making each other miserable, there wouldn't be a market for something like this. This is a band-aid solution to the much bigger issue of loneliness. I agree it's more detrimental than a well working wholesome relationship, but I think it's still better than being completely alone or being in a horrible miserable relationship or divorced. Seeing as how wholesome well working relationships are becoming increasingly more difficult to attain, I feel your opinion is a bit too harsh. You're not pointing out that there is potential for this product to save lives in terms of suicide or some form of psychosis due to extreme loneliness. There's even the potential for when the ai get better and smarter, we can program them to be therapeutic and possibly influence the men they're talking to to make better life decisions.
A video like this coming from an established and attractive woman is the definition of tone deaf. All she has to do is literally be ladylike and respectful and dozens of guys will be available to marry her off. Meanwhile, us men either get ignored, labeled as creeps for approaching women, get cheated on/manipulated/deal with women playing games, and at worst, we could lose our assets in a divorce or get falsely accused of something and have our lives ruined.
I agree, AI shouldn’t be a substitute. But, for many men it’s the only alternative in an increasingly toxic dating market. Well the AI and robot women will get more and more appealing and better made, rather quickly since the need for AI and robot girlfriends is very strong, so they will get very appealing. I agree. Dating life is absolutely torrid for many average men, or those considered less attractive to women, almost to the point that it could be considered abusive towards these men. I dated guys who were sports models, fashion models and fitness trainers my whole life. They were wealthy and handsome. I fell in love and married a nerdy guy who doesn't work out, doesn't make a lot of money and is chubby. I love every single thing about him and his looks, his career and interests. He attracted me by being funny, kind, loving, and he seemed to just work on himself and didn't actively look for a gf. He wasn't overly sexual, he didnt have a porn addiction like most men these days and he always offered to pay, even tho he didn't make a lot. I definitely think the Daily Wire needs to show empathy for those who would use this product. There was really a chance to connect with these people and tell them there is a better way and assist with finding that way. It really kills me hearing this advice. I have a good job, fun one even. I have plenty of friends and go do different activities often. Get invited to parties and meet plenty of people. Go to the gym 6 days a week. But I haven't had a date since January. I haven't had a girlfriend since 2019.

As someone who is in a healthy committed relationship and who have never had too much trouble when it came to women, I am sorry Cooper but the whole "the bar is so low" thing is BS. I was in the dating scene for a year or two before I met my current GF and finding a good woman is incredibly rare, and I'm a alright looking guy with a decent salary and overall good habits. Men need women to be their peace and women need men to raise society from the Stone Age. Overinflated ego, narcissism, body positivity, globalization, dating apps, feminism, “equality”, legal systems among many other factors have led to a divide between both groups. Now the reduction for men is we need to be able to procreate but that’s all a relationship boils down to that we couldn’t get elsewhere. With other alternatives we have options. Women don’t because they need bonding in emotional and physical ways that men don’t require to the same extent. So they’ve oversold themselves and are now being undercut by the ai girlfriend epidemic which will ruin them.

My friends are the same way, my sisters, and most of the women in our community. The difference? We live in a quiet suburban area where homeschooling and church are common.

Most guys I've known are good dudes, physically fit, no bad habits, hard workers, Godly, intelligent, etc, but they cannot find a decent woman or got divorced already by a cheating wife. I've also spent the past 15 years dating around at churches and such and the women have all had MAJOR issues so it never worked out. Either they are still very much femine-ists, or extremely selfish/entitled, or they are locked behind some weird cult like Mennonites or something.
So maybe you currently have a different outlook on women due to your fortunate experiences but I've almost exclusively seen bad and even some horrible situations from women. Every male member of my family was screwed over by their wives (including my dad), as well as many of my friends. I still kept hope that "not all women are like that" over the years but recently I've more or less come to the conclusion that it's no longer worth it for me to go for a western woman, and possibly not even for an eastern woman anymore.
Even if a guy is perfect and does everything right, that's no longer a guarantee he will get or keep a good wife, as it's still too much of a risk (look at Tom Brady and countless other seemingly perfect men that have been ruined by their wife).
