I got my car with it on it already (dealer, new Fit). It does get dirty. But, I noticed when I pay for an "upgrade" car wash that finishes with an all over the car RainX treatment, the treatment gets at the dirt quite well. But, after four years, I might want to replace, and I find the video very good. Thank you from a 70+ year-old woman who tries to take care of small things on her car. I think it's great the people like you just volunteer to do these movies (tho it sounds like you got a little help from 34M, which I salute you for taking.)
Looked great on my Red Mazda 6. What the video doesn't tell you is its great to apply of door that have a straight edge. Sedan rear door are usually rounded like on a Mazda 6. Pretty impossible to get it to go on because of the thickness.
How do you install this with the Tesla Door Seal Kit Rubber Weather Draft Seal Strip installed? It leaves no space for this door edge film on the back of the door.
@ ghostrider, It does protect the other vehicle from a ding. And thanks Katie, I agree Joe didn't use 3M and white cars don't show dings like darker cars.
Looks like shit on a white vehicle. I have a white 2014 Ridgeline with it on the edge and under my door handles. Its all outlined in dirt. Looks worse with it. It turns yellow and dulls. I don't have exactly what you are using but they all have adhesive dirt sticks to on the edge, and waite till you wax it.
Joe, sorry to read that yours doesn't look good. I still have it on my car and it's been over a year and still looks great! No dirt stuck underneath it. I think the key to what you said was "you don't have exactly what you are using". Using the 3M product is key! It's a great product and since making the video we have installed it on all of our cars and it looks great.

70yrs old and "tho" is now in your online typing vocabulary? interesting.
What an amazing product, and easy to apply. Thank you for the installation video !
Dealer tried to add this on for $600. Cost me $22 to do all 4 doors in about an hour
It’s hard to believe that the dealership adds $249.00 for this!
That’s why they are called stealerships.

1:30 of talking before you get to actual installation. Couldn't wait, bye.
Must be an impatient millennial

It's about $10 a roll. If you don't like it that much, change it
