Nice.... great vision... now you can consider a rear spoiler... not a tail... just a simple spoiler. Attached across the top of the tailgate. Going the whole width side to side . Laying almost flat. A couple fins to match the diffuser... a couple of the adjustment rods to match the front. About 6 to 8 inches of width.... Of course then you might want to use a flat thin sheet of aluminum or the ABS to make a one piece bed cover. Using a hinge and hydraulic struts... similar to a NASCAR truck...autocross... road course... drift truck... just a cool daily driver.
All of the small trucks Hilux,Ford Courier , Chevy Luv and Datsun had th same step up thingbetween the cab and bed. I had a 73Courier and it never bothered me . Love the side skirts along with the whole truck ! Keep up the good work.
I agree the black is going to clash with the whole rust theme you got going on. Also, won’t these hold water against the bottom of the cab? Seems like it would be hard to dry out.
Nice job. I have some projects that I want to do that would make sense to use ABS sheet stock for. I'm in Moses Lake, but am in Spokane area often. What is the local resource you used for the plastic sheets?
Turned out great, are you gonna patina paint these to match the rest of the truck, or just leave black? Can't wait to see what you do next to the truck!
Austin, … love your videos, always thumbs up, … but you lost me with all the ricer stuff you did to this truck. Let’s just put this one to bed and move along to the FJ.

Looking good man but now with all the new black material you might need to paint the truck the patina ain’t helping now 😢
Looks good so glad to see the spot where the bed and can wasn’t even fixed so custom wide body flares next would just add to that look
Nice work, again. I wold paint the gray around the tail lights: Black or white ;)
Another clean one off part that looks amazing.
The amount of fasteners you have on those side skirts, that thing isn't going anywhere. Looks dope
You do awesome work. Where do you learn how to do all the fabricating you do ? I’d really like to learn for myself .
The side skirts tied the cab/bed together great!
Nice! Really starting to come together.
It's looking awesome! Don't paint it, the Classic look with a modern touch looks awesome
👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Nice job, do a hood scoop next, not that big but one that vents the engine bay.
Awesome job I love it simple and looks good
Yep now your gettin there!
Nice vision 4 the HiLux

Good idea. Love it
It would be awesome if you did a video on what vehicles you have cause all of your vehicles are sick.
Idk what your thinking but there better be a freaking awesome paint job when your done 🥴
Nice job. I have some projects that I want to do that would make sense to use ABS sheet stock for. I'm in Moses Lake, but am in Spokane area often. What is the local resource you used for the plastic sheets?
Thanks! I use laird plastics in Spokane valley!

Paint plastic?
Outstanding!
I really didn't like the transition from cab to bed
Where did you get the abs plastic?
I just found it on ebay. " Textured black abs "
Love the vids!
👌
😍😍😍😍😍
Time for a pneumatic rivet gun. The handheld would numb my hands for a week after few rivets
You a killer it look soo good
It' s nice but, you needed to do something with the surface rust first, otherwise, this makes it to rust even faster!
When you gonna start working on your Fj...
I kinda feel like the front bumper should be black too, ti match the sides and rear skirts

i wish this truck was pearl white with bronze wheels.. it would be so dope.. but i get it.. u wana try something different
That's going to hold moisture and rust out the whole bottom edges of your truck

Started out great, but steadily turning into a shitshow. Stick with 4WDs
