Mob psycho is one of the very few anime that made me feel like i was a little kid again watching Tv, getting genuine excitement from intro knowing every episode will be amazing.

It's good to have mob psycho that does the exact opposite, the creator is just a freaking genius if you think he created this story while having already been working on One punch man. So refreshing.
I love how it goes from his will to protect Shigeo showing acts of hope, decleration, and defiance and nearing the end it turns to desperation, exhaustion, frustration and more jeez this fight is goated.

I feel like it was doomed to be hated when we found out it wasn't the same studio behind season 1. From what i hear season 1 just happened to have a lot of talent available coincidentally during that time.
I love what they did with the doll\clones\psycho-helmets movement at the beginning of the video. Really cemented how unhuman those things are. The dolls doesn't have any muscles, it's just a bunch of twigs after all, all it needs is to restructutize itself and propell, but it tries to imitate a human jumping, even landing on the feets. But from the start this thing is so bad at it, that it just throws itself on things, fails the landings and the jumps, fails to notice the branch at the trajectory of the jump. Making them more alien and terryfying.
I love how this fight is more of a subtle reference to super robot anime, the beams, the missile beams, floating in the air looking all cool as everything explode
They had more than a few legendary animators show up throughout the season to work with and direct a team of 80 employees. This was a passion project. It will stand the test of time.
The brocolli gotta be one of the strongest entity in the series, it's such an anti-esper enemy that can throw multiple enemy that will adapt and use your power while also draining yours

This goes to show you how a hive mind breaks typical anime fights. Typically the lose condition for a fight is someone dies or is knocked unconscious. But the hive mind? Losing one or even thousands does nothing, whereas if even one of their opponents dies, it's a critical loss.
Perfection takes time and it worth it, this season had some of the most over the tops fights but for me season2 takes the cake. That fight with Shimazaki and the fight with Mogami were godlike.

Why didn't the Brocolli have one of its copies go after Mob while Dimple was distracted? It was able to clear away the shield Dimple made for himself; is it unable to actually multitask between fighting Dimple and grabbing Mob during the battle?
Well yeah, I imagine the shield wasn’t insanely strong, but strong enough to defend from a good amount of them, plus the broccoli was just “born” so it’s mental capabilities could easily be somewhat hampered by that
God Dimple is very powerful if you think about it maybe the barrier also doesn't allow for Physco Helmet to go inside the barrier that's why physco helmet attacked dimple so they could kill him and deactivate the barrier

So in all out battle, the broccoli clones would try to swarm the claw boss but will obviously get outmatched by him while he unleashes beams of energy thta could lead to the Divine Tree getting destroyed in the process.
