I swear to god, this moment has the same energy as Megaman entering Dr. Wiley's fortress and having to face the same bosses he already powered up from again. Levi ripped through his whole escape plan with the same kind of energy. Like "We've already been over this, old man..."
He never defeats Zeke, he wins skirmishes while Zeke wins the strategic conflict every single time. He fails to capture Zeke the first time allowing the series events to unfold a massive failure on his part caused by his lack of awareness, he fails to keep him captive the second time by underestimating him again right after he already had and got his men killed and at the end Levi kills him because he wishes it. At no point does Levi ever really successfully accomplish any of his goals in the series. His feats in battle are the only interesting thing about him and it ALWAYS fails to change the plot, he was deliberately written this way as a mockery of people who like overpowered one man army type characters. The author wrote the entire series as a middle finger towards his readers. I truly cringe with embarrassment when people get hyped about Levi's character because they don't understand the series at all.
