She came up with a full monologue up front in a language she isn't comfortable with, and it was great! Far better than I could do in ANY other language!
I love seeing Japanese runner on GDQ. Really shows how global the speedrun community is. Plus this is such an amazing run too. Even though I don’t know this Castlevania it still looks quite hard. Especially the Dracula fight with pits in the room.
Having played this game like a week ago, that movement was superb! Yeah Stage 5 was a bit rough, but still so many nailed tech and great bossfights. Really awesome run and runner, and good job from Wolf to explain everything in such a short time while still dealing with the delay. Thanks everyone for this!
Great run! It's always cool when we get to see runners from the actual homeland of all these games we love. Nice to see this oddball in the series pop up at another GDQ, too. The original Rondo is definitely the better game, but I'm honestly more impressed with people who are good at this version. _Everything_ is stacked against you in Dracula X. Harder stages, less polish, friggin' pits in the Dracula fight, and above all, no playing as that little human wrecking ball Maria.
Congrats Henshachi on the run :D Loved seeing the added backflips, improved werewolf boss fight, and of course the first try frame perfect bat boost in Stage 3 ;)
As a casual viewer who played Castlevania in my childhood, it is kinda fascinating that someone who beats THIS GAME, in FIFTEEN MINUTES, doesn't think this is a "good run". Ma'am, many of us have never been able to beat this game AT ALL. Gee... Good job, though!
It’s still incredible how many nationalities that makes themselves understood in english while those who only speak English understand so few languages. Love from Sweden.
It doesn't share any level design with Rondo, it only shares sprites and soundtrack. So I would classify it as a separate game that just uses Rondo's assets. Kind of like a Mega Man 8 vs Mega Man & Bass situation - same sprites, but different game.
SBDWolf: "Now, this trick is very difficult."
Hensachi: *casually nails it*
Her English is way better than my Japanese. That was amazing to watch.

One of the hardest Classic titles for sure. Not to be confused with Rondo either
素晴らしいプレイでした!このゲームを最後までクリアしたことはありませんが、あなたの完璧なプレイに感動しました。
Both runner and commentary did a great job. Thank you for the run!
Excellent run, love the game and it was extremely well played.
And Hensachi's English was very good too.
honestly, i think as a live event thing, gotta have nerves of steel to recover from mistakes. THAT is skill. GG Hensachi

Watched and loved Hensachi's runs from RTA in Japan channel. Great to see her international appearance in GDQ! 😍
I always love it when someone has a genuine smile.
Super run by a super runner! Always good to see 8 and 16 bit games at GDQ. Reminds me of easier days.
An amazing run for one of my favorite Castlevanias! The soundtrack for Dracula X is AMAZING!
Congrats for the run! Really hard game. Runner is amazing!

That Dracula battle gave me flashbacks. Congrats on making that look easy and styling on the rest of the game with those backflips!
What a lovely runner ❤ Great run and amazing game :D
That run was insane, even taking the bad RNG into consideration.
Great job on this run! The entire run was very enjoyable to watch!
When she intentionally fell, I was like "WTF?" Then when she was spawned from above, I was like "WTF?" with a completely surpising feeling. How?!
That's a very impressive run! Well done to the runner!

Always love Castlevania speedruns
She was flawless, bravo!
Awesome run! Always love seeing Castlevania speed runs
I forgot Dracula was wearing a speedo in this game!
There's a strong history in the Japanese part of speedrunning. Cool to see a representative
Beautiful run! The RNG was not kind but a sub 16!
Impressive run, love the tricks used.

I think this game has some of the best graphics and music on the SNES, but kudos to the runner, because the actual gameplay is _rough._
a beautiful run!

Man how do people get these times lol Iam way to old to compete lol, Well done Ma'am
Nice run, wish I could've watched it live, but you know, sleep.
Isn't dracula x a bad version of rondo of blood?

Neat
ORB!
