Came here from the audio podcast just to say Dr. Randall did a good job. Would love to see the guest host a quiz based on the field they are an expert in.
Dr Randall did fantastic. That was an awesome switch up. Truthfully I think it should be rotating hosts maybe every month or so? Weekly would be too much I think.
It's hard to say which my favourite guest hosted episode has been my favourite, but this is definitely a top contender. Such a funny episode, I love how awkwardly funny Randall is. What a legend
I thought you’d continue the “home rules” point wagering part of the Meateater’s Trivia game. That added a little nice flare for the very competitive contestants. Skillet
The good Doctor will probably get some headhunters for NPR to start offering him the lead of a show. I think he could bring back prairie home companion
I have a revolver from the early 1900s that my great great grandfather used as a Pinkerton in Forks Washington. He filed his kill marks in the trigger guard. Super cool.
My only complaint is that Randall needed to read the question more times. Many of us are just listening while we drive and can't read the screen. Spencer does a great job of reading it several times
Glacier had nightmare management practices back then. They were literally associating people with food to the bears, dumping mountains of garbage in the park for the bears, making shows of the bears eating garbage, and doing literally nothing to effectively monitor the bears. Their track record is not one of success, but pretty harsh failure out of ignorance and an unwillingness to learn. And that habit dies hard, apparently. Last time I was there several different tour guides made a fuss about wanting to turn the east side of the park into beaver paradise, and this is after their trout debacle to put on eagle feeding shows because they thought it would make them more money. Regardless, great episode. Tenfold improvement from last week!
Heres a great trivia question? Do Mountain Lions live in Wisc? Yes, one attacked a bow hunter last weekend and the hunter killed it. Now the DNR has to admit they are here
Randall, good work, only criticism is a common mistake about your friends gun safe being stolen. You called it a robbery. In fact it's a burglary when people unlawfully enter a residence. A robbery is when something is taken by force (or threat of force) from someone. Nice work!
Is it just me or does Dr Randall sound like he’s auditioning for a NPR gig? Glad to see so many others hosting trivia now. Not that Spence doesn’t do a good job just cool to hear and see some variety. Suck It Steve!
Question, given that Walrus tusks are canines, are they really "front teeth"? In humans, the "front teeth" are the incisors, and do not include the canines. But I don't know if that applies beyond humans/ primates...
@@SmittyMRE ha I was about to say "touche, friend" but I don't think those come with the game when you buy it... Unless it's a "Bring Your Own Board" board game.
@@ColeMcConnell Well, touche it is... Though I feel like it would fail Spencer's typical level of scrutiny on the definition of "board games," still an L for me.
I've come to dislike the trivia play of Brody and Randall. They take it way too seriously to the point of being truly mad/sad about it. Combine that with them nearly always bring the last to write an answer, they drag out the process and have a negative tone that often brings the room down. Randall's previous comments about being depressed after losing and coming home to his wife all sad is honestly concerning to hear. Combine all that with the fact the 2 debby downers win most of the time and it makes trivia a bit less fun to watch. Basically a contest for 2nd/3rd behind them.
Nothing against Dr Randall, I like him but thought it was very clunky. Almost like he never has attended an episode. It did have some humor for sure but overall I found it a little annoying. How do you not repeat the question for diameter of 4 rounds of different cartridges?
"Dr." Come on, dude. I know you can speak better than this. You seemed flustered and I know why and I appreciate that. But, damn man. I love you and everything about you.
I love that Cal talks during the entire intro every time 😂
You can just hear steves teeth grinding
This was a great episode for sure. Dr. Randall's cadence and voice was just hilarious. Also, Cal really loves to interrupt Phil's intro drop LOL.
I love how much Spencer enjoyed Randall's performance. The good doctor understood the assignment
Kinda take Spencer for granted until I watch these guest host episodes...😂😂
Dr Randle's voice is so soothing. Wonderful job guest hosting!
Came here from the audio podcast just to say Dr. Randall did a good job.
Would love to see the guest host a quiz based on the field they are an expert in.
Love how he processes information and properly articulates everyone's thoughts that were thinking on our side of the screen.
Great guest host!! Well done Dr. Randall!
Randall... very well done. Your voice and pace is fantastic
Dr Randall did fantastic. That was an awesome switch up. Truthfully I think it should be rotating hosts maybe every month or so? Weekly would be too much I think.
This was fun. Randall kept it moving👍🏻
I was thrilled to get the Abu-Garcia & Kennedy answers correct!
Great job Randall. As entertaining and witty as Steve. Would love to see you guest host more.
Best episode yet. That was hilarious!!
Well done Randall!
This was great, thank you Randall!!

The mad Dr brought it, great performance doc, you rock.
I didn't even notice until 30 minutes in that Dr Randall is wearing a lab coat and stethoscope...🤣
Loved to see the Doctor himself host, its actually refreshing to see someone struggle a bit, im sure that job is much harder than it seems
I concur… great job Dr.
Randall is the best.. great host
I listened to the podcast first before the UA-cam video. Much different show. Great job, Randol.😂
Fun episode! The doc did great.
I thoroughly enjoyed this episode. Great guest host. 2 thumbs up.

Hope the Doc guest host every time they need one.
Great job Randall

Randall knows about 8.6 blackout , which is kind of impressive to me
Great show, Doc!
Love the Clark's Hill and Augusta shout out from a local
Loved it Randall.
Great episode
now THAT'S how you host and narrate a game of trivia
I can't tell if Randal is dry AF irony or deer in the headlights panic; either way its very enjoyable.
That's exactly it, it seems like Randall is just so unconsciously funny. Very enjoyable
The easiest way to figure out the calibre size from smallest to largest is to divide the mm sizing by 25.4 (25.4 mm in 1 inch).
The doctor did a great job
I thought I had the answer with Reagan - George Bush Sr. being his VP. Corinne should get some credit for making that connection.
def best guest host lol
My only complaint is that Randall needed to read the question more times. Many of us are just listening while we drive and can't read the screen. Spencer does a great job of reading it several times
DR. Randall is king
Here for the Randall Era, he Kant lose
Randell was the best.

Randall is the most Irish man of all time in meateater history. He’s beet red.
Heres a great trivia question? Do Mountain Lions live in Wisc?

Today Spencer learned that PhD stands for Doctor of Philosophy 😊
Holy shit i got the caliber question right! I was listening to the answers and i was like well if brody got it right then i got it right
Hey!!! My correction made it to an episode! LOL
Has anyone got the home game yet? Mine showed up on Opening Day of Rifle(MI)!
In bed by nine. that's a doctor for you
Dr. Randle sang the intro.

Great show! Nothing wrong with it except I only got 2 correct answers

Cooked whole on a rotisserie, add a little bit of salt, pepper, and garlic powder... bam!

Spencer, stop calling it a board game, THERE IS NO BOARD.
What about the whiteboards? (I'm sorry, haha, bad pun)

@kanagawakenji7 they actually do come with the game. So board game it is.

No Steve again,, I guess that's another episode I'll skip 😒
This episode was damn near unlistenable. Holy hell. Looking at these comments, you'd think folks are getting paid by Meateater
