It’s beautiful and thank you for this video! I would like to know how long it lasted and also what happened once it dried.... like did you have to add more product or did you just wash it out.
This is the only way for me to do a WNG , my hair hate water for this style😅😅😅😅but I use toooooooo much product😭😭😭😭 and it last me 2 weeks and my hair stay super moisturized! Sorry for my bad English ! I’m French
i wash condition at night and put in my leave in and put my hair in two big twists at night because i can't sleep on wet hair because my curls will go flat and my hair takes two days to dry when i have gel in it. the next day i put my gel in and that is how i have been wash and going for 8 years. Gel works better than custards, conditioner or gelees and with gel you will be able to fluff without the frizz. because i detangled my hair wet and put it in the twists when it dries it is already detangled and stretched so i am not raking though my dry hair and causing breakage. I have grown my hair to my waist twice and to my elbows in the last 8 years and the only thing that killed my hair was heat damage, not the dry wash and go plus i got less single stranded knots because my hair was stretched (without heat.) This has been a lifesaver because i live in the east where it gets really cold and leaving with wet hair isn't an option.
This is how I always do my wash n go's on dry hair. I'll wash my hair two days prior and moisturize. Than two days later, I'll just section my hair in smaller pieces rubbing eco styler gel and using a fine tooth comb to define my curls. God bless!
It's perfect for a puff I live for a dry wash and go. I watch you and Kim combos and use them on mostly dry hair. I will something spritz my hair with aloe and or water but it's not wet just damp at most since I cannot get a good wash and go on wet hair it's time consuming and I cannot seem to get the stretching method down so I just admire your big hair.
I always do my wash n go's on almost dry hair. If I do it on soaking wet hair like most people it's like the product (gel) kinda just slips off my hair & doesn't give it the hold... idk if that makes sense. But I have mostly 4b with a little 4a & that's just what works for me. Not sure the porosity but yeah, not dry but like 85% dry maybe.
I have low porosity hair and I love the dry and go’s with my low porosity hair I feel like this is a better method for me to get moisture so I’m actually gonna try it tonight❤️🙂
I did this one day randomly because i started to think that my hair was becoming really dry because of the water and i was right. I used to listen word by word by what natural hair yt were saying and not listen to my actual hair, now my hair is so moisturize after yearsss of being dry all the time. Even thought i would put a ton of cream oil and stuff, my hair would become dry an hour later all because of the water-
I can only do dry wash nd go’s lol, I actually use the miche beauty leave in with the melanin hair care twisting creme. My dry nd go be bomb and my hair dry faster cuz there is no water involved, and there is no frizz 😊
I do this on my dry hair all the time! I use my Texture ID styling creme and a little bit of flaxseed gel. I love the style, but it doesn't last as long as a regular wash 'n go.
I've done this several times. I'm also high porosity. I don't like doing wash n goes on soaking wet hair anyway. It makes the products less effective on my hair
If its puffy roots when you do wash n go. Put the gel on your roots to weight it down some. I apply starting at my roots because it also tends to help me have less tangles at the roots when its smooth down.
Early af. ❤️ also I did a wash and go yesterday and almost forgot to deep condition. I need to get my whole life. I’m definitely a lazy natural tho so I’m excited for this. 😂
I tired this the other day and I was freaking out about the middle of the hair strand being straight too I thought I had heat damage 😂😂 great results though 😍😍
I’ve tried this before when I was styling my hair n half way through the process I had to use some water cuz I couldn’t do it lol 🤷♀️ Your brave for this one sis 💕✨ But it turned out pretty good
Usually whenever I have my hair in twists with zero product, I rock those for two weeks. Then a twist out for another then I just add product and get some curls for a couple of days.
Me too! I be watching all these videos talmbout “soak wet hair is best” “the wetter the better” and I be like ???¿¿?🤔??¿? Why my hair get frizzier with more water? Damp is best for me though, I don’t really like how dry w&g lay when the products completely dried
I'm low porosity and I can't see doing a wash and go on dry hair. I mean how is my moisture getting in my hair I feel it would just sit on top of my hair. If I was high porosity like you I would definitely try it at least once 💯
You can do a dry and go after your hair has already been moisturized. For example after you wash your hair put your leave in on your hair and let your hair air dry in twists. Once your hair is dry you can define your curls with gel or whatever product you want to use.
Oh Jaelah watching and listening to you brush your dry hair with that Denman😬 I know it’ll turn out beautifully bcuz I just did this today using Mielle’s gel oh and a little rose water-not the same actually🤔
I love your hair and you always do a great job! My concern is product build up because of the amount of product used and as you said having to make it a two day with no heat process. I wonder if this will create volume for ladies who have fine and low density hair like myself. I do think the moisture would be fabulous. Let us know how many days you were able to wear it like this before you had to wash your hair. I love your videos.💖💖💖
It turned out cute. But I like ur big hair more 😍. The parts that were getting weighed down by the products and u had to shake a little for the curl to come thru are more fragile bc of the hair color maybe? I do my wng on mostly dry hair. If I do it on really wet hair the product just slides off and they don't last as long.
Never done a wash n go on dry hair. But, if I try it I’d have to wash my hair and just put it in 2 big loose twists and let air dry overnight. Cuz I ain’t blowing nothing out just to revert it
Spraying the hair with a whole bunch of water is definitely not necessary like most naturals make it seem. It may be a little easier but not necessary.
Paris Charles I agree, I tried this months ago to refresh my curls. Almost emptied out all my stylers... My hair doesn’t have to be clean, but it certainly needs tons of water for a wash n go.
Denysha Taylor girl you ain’t lying! dry wash & go’s use a TON of product. I’ve done them a few times when I’ve had somewhere to go but no time to start from freshly washed hair and every time I was emptying containers. I got too much hair for this method not to be wasteful 😤
Elderberry Jamz Elderberry Jamz Right lol I tried to put in my usual amount of product and my hair just ate it for lunch and frizzed up. I was like 😦....well that was rude 😐...
I wish you would have given it a good toss/shake! Flip your head forward, back, left, right. Would have love to seen the volume that added. Glad you mentioned getting the roots, it looked like you applied the product midway down the hair shaft and didn't address the roots enough.
Hey y’all!! I just wanted to try something new. Have you ever done a wash n go on dry hair? If you haven’t, would you ever give it a try? 😆
I would
I would try it but I feel like I would have to use a ton of product.
You should a video doing half a head with wash and go and the other half with the “dry and go” and compare them
It’s beautiful and thank you for this video! I would like to know how long it lasted and also what happened once it dried.... like did you have to add more product or did you just wash it out.

Thank you for this tip😊
I actually love dry'n'gos. Sometimes a girl doesn't have the time or patience for all the regular wash'n'go steps
Type 4 wet look sis. Slay it❤️
You know I had to do it to em!
This is how I always do my wash n go's on dry hair. I'll wash my hair two days prior and moisturize. Than two days later, I'll just section my hair in smaller pieces rubbing eco styler gel and using a fine tooth comb to define my curls. God bless!

This method got the moisture into my hair tooo welll 👌🏽
I've tried this before and it took more gel than necessary but it came out pretty good. You always come through with the content❤
All I gotta say is your hair STAY looking good regardless of what you do ✍🏾
The constant videos are giving me lifeeee😭😭❤️
I did this one day randomly because i started to think that my hair was becoming really dry because of the water and i was right. Boomb results girl 💕
Could you actually try this no water method with a gel next time?
I do this. But on damp/almost dry hair
JVonna G same when my hair is super wet it shrinks up and becomes tangled
I do this on my dry hair all the time! I use my Texture ID styling creme and a little bit of flaxseed gel. I love the style, but it doesn't last as long as a regular wash 'n go.

Girl your hair is so pretty just clip sum flowers in it and you really. 🤧💖💕
Thank you love!!
Issa look sis! Curl definition crazy
You had me at lazy!!! 😂😂😂 I am all ears and ready to see how this is going to turn out! 💝😂
Thank you I like because the shrinkage is not an a big issue. Your hair looks beautiful.
This really looks good. I would've never thought it could be accomplished, but look at your hair!! 💙 ReignGang💛💙💛💙
Love the look! How much product did you have left after?
I’m sold on getting this styling creme! Your hair looks bomb without a drop of water
1st seeing this nethod."shine going crazy stupid 😅"-reign. Thank you queen
I do this to my daughters hair. But I use a spray leave in conditioner, then follow up with product and a little gel
i always have puffy roots , how do i get rid of that?
If its puffy roots when you do wash n go. Put the gel on your roots to weight it down some. I apply starting at my roots because it also tends to help me have less tangles at the roots when its smooth down.
appreciate it 💁🏽♀️
Your hair came out cute😍I always do my hair on damp hair because I’m so low porosity
I still haven't gotten the wash and go down packed 😫🙄 I'd try this to see if it works. I like your final results! Cute, as usual 😍
Early af. ❤️ also I did a wash and go yesterday and almost forgot to deep condition. I need to get my whole life. I’m definitely a lazy natural tho so I’m excited for this. 😂
Then this is perfect for you sis!!
I tired this the other day and I was freaking out about the middle of the hair strand being straight too I thought I had heat damage 😂😂 great results though 😍😍
pyarbough I’m starting to believe almost everyone’s hair does that cause mines does that too and it scares me tbh😂
Ok i want to try this now
Yess go for it!! 😬
I’ve tried this before when I was styling my hair n half way through the process I had to use some water cuz I couldn’t do it lol 🤷♀️
Your brave for this one sis 💕✨
But it turned out pretty good
Usually whenever I have my hair in twists with zero product, I rock those for two weeks. Then a twist out for another then I just add product and get some curls for a couple of days.
My hair takes in product dry 😂 *shrugs* water causes extra friz for me
Me too! I be watching all these videos talmbout “soak wet hair is best” “the wetter the better” and I be like ???¿¿?🤔??¿? Why my hair get frizzier with more water? Damp is best for me though, I don’t really like how dry w&g lay when the products completely dried
Great video Beautiful!! Gorgeous hair😍❤️
yes this go be great your right about only one jess also did the dry look too
ReignGang!!!🙋🏾♀️💃🏾🥰 I've been wondering if I could do this Dry wash and go.
Myrna Joseph are you gonna give it a try? 👀
@@NaturalReign Yea I will.😊😊
Did you end up using more product on the dry n' go? I really want to give this a try with product for low density. Btw I love the results😍❤
I did end up using more product for the dry n’ go because it was my only source of moisture since I couldn’t use water.
This is great to take with me while traveling
Your hair is so beautiful. I will be trying ..thank you for sharing
Your hair always looks good and love this. 👍👍👍
I'm low porosity and I can't see doing a wash and go on dry hair. I mean how is my moisture getting in my hair I feel it would just sit on top of my hair. If I was high porosity like you I would definitely try it at least once 💯
Iconic Curlz yeah that’s true.
You can do a dry and go after your hair has already been moisturized. For example after you wash your hair put your leave in on your hair and let your hair air dry in twists. Once your hair is dry you can define your curls with gel or whatever product you want to use.
What do you use for shine??
My hair is stretched right now, I should try this 🤔
Doing it on stretched hair gives me way less definition, that's just me tho🤷🏾♀️
I tried it yesterday and was still able to get pretty good definition, I was shocked 😳
It’s soooooooo pretty ❤️❤️
I dont see the links to the other videos below, didnt pop up on the screen
I like this look. I prefer a tame wash n go
This is actually perfect because ai stretch my hair for my trims, but I prefer a wash and go style
Have you tried Soultanicals?
Oh Jaelah watching and listening to you brush your dry hair with that Denman😬
I know it’ll turn out beautifully bcuz I just did this today using Mielle’s gel oh and a little rose water-not the same actually🤔
I did something where I took a two strand twist on the second day and retwisted the untwisted twist and got super stretch
I really loved it! Maybe I would try it one day!
I never brush or comb then to define curls kinda defeat the purpose. What do u think?
I love your hair and you always do a great job! My concern is product build up because of the amount of product used and as you said having to make it a two day with no heat process. Here for it!!! Go off sis ♥️♥️
Thank you sis!! 🤗💕
Def gonna try this
Sooo it’s not true when they say your hair has to be soaking wet for a wash and go?🤔 or is that just for low porosity
Your hair is really defined!
i wouldn’t just because my hair loves water but if i need a quick style it could be a go to.
I do this to refresh
I love this video water is what causes much shrinkage..no water is better my opinion..my hair is longer with no water but I use eco
I literally want her as my best friend i love ur personality ur like a really pretty older sister
Aww thank you so much boo!!
@@NaturalReign AAAAHHHHHHH You repliedd!!!!! My day has been made🤗💕
Sally beauty have buy 2 get 1 free on textured Id products ☺️
Old video finally uploaded, still loved it.
Can someone tell me what to do if my hair is puffy after washing its like not tamed
You should try with a gel!!!!
Thay came out pretty nice.
T. Moore yup !!
Would this method work for the wet look? Also would you recommend stretching the hair?
This did come out really cute.
It will probably last longer if you use gel with the styling cream
How did you stretch your hair?
Is all of your hair high Porosity or only the dyed parts ?
The middle part of my hair does that too
How long did it take to dry? Nice results !
Never done a wash n go on dry hair. But, if I try it I’d have to wash my hair and just put it in 2 big loose twists and let air dry overnight. Cuz I ain’t blowing nothing out just to revert it
How long did it take for your hair to fully dry??
Show us day 3
Who else loves to do a lil bop when her intro comes on?
First again #NotificationSquad LOVE YA 😍 ❤️ 🥵😩❤️❤️
Love you too!! 💕💕
I'd be concerned if it worked for low porosity hair rather than high, because we get build up easily
Spraying the hair with a whole bunch of water is definitely not necessary like most naturals make it seem. It may be a little easier but not necessary.
Just Ashley exactly
I never do anything on soaking wet hair it just doesn't work for my hair
Paris Charles

Right lol I tried to put in my usual amount of product and my hair just ate it for lunch and frizzed up. I was like 😦....well that was rude 😐...
This wash n go fire 🔥
Sees title, instantly becomes intrigued! 🤔
I wish you would have given it a good toss/shake! Flip your head forward, back, left, right. Would have love to seen the volume that added. Glad you mentioned getting the roots, it looked like you applied the product midway down the hair shaft and didn't address the roots enough.
I think I'll try it soon 🤔
My low porosity hair could neverrr
Lol ikr
LOVE IT !!!!!!!!
love it!
I love your hair
Notifications gang ❤️
Hey boo 🤗🤗
She literally has the same hair texture as me wow
I love it! Could you please share what color you have in your hair...pleeeeeease🥰
I’ve done this and it DOES NOT last with humidity. Literally like a twist out... POOF
It is always that middle part that gets everyone just one part everything else is good and then you got that one part that’s not defined
It looks good but I know what you need about bigger.
I like it.👏🏾👏🏾🌺
Let me go ahead and put my early comment while I watch the video 😂
