- I am ecstatic to share with you all the new paint color of my Nissan Gloria Y32 project car. After saving this JDM car from going to the junkyard, I couldn't be more pleased with its current state!

I watch a lot of content of all kinds on YT. The reason this content stands out to me is it's the closest thing I've seen for a while that accurately represents what it's like hanging with friends working on cars. So many channels that used to be just that, understandably grew so much, production got so much more extravagant, that they've lost their charm. They are honestly better produced than some shows you'd see on like the Speed Channel back in the day. I know it won't be long before you have some bad ass shop, then have a camera guy, and a fancy editor, and that's gonna be super bad ass in it's own way. But this time right now is special and what I miss about being in a drift/car crew back in the early 2000s. Just in a driveway, working on our 240s that we regularly beat the hell out of, working on our daily drivers, scraping together money for engines/tires/parts... the salad days/good ole days, whatever you wanna call them.
I'm one of Mike' older fans, and I agree with you entirely. Wish I had such a group to hang out with and share support & Laughs. Very special time for sure 🙂
@@ivycycles Oh maaaaaan, I pop 40 in April. lol Thankfully my car buddies I grew up with are still my car buddies! We've since graduated from driveways to nice shops and garages, all the tools we ever wanted... BUT we don't have the free time like we used to. MAYBE when we all retire we can hang like the old days. You're invited!

I'm not even a Z fan but paytons Z has me feeling things man. Tell fran not to worry about oil on the outside of the engine i'm a BMW fan for us that's called a feature "external oil rust prevention"
My E36 is defective, the engine doesn't leak oil but the trans does
@@sampuhhupmas5666 The spirit of BMW merely moved the oil leak. My e30 doesn't leak any fluid but that might be due to it being a bare shell.

I never realised about the bulbs filaments stretching and shorting out, had that happen a few times and wasn't sure what the issue was , replaced bulbs and it would fix it. It makes sense now

Gloria looks great! I had a friend with an Integra back in the day that was a similar color. In some light it looked dark grey or black, but in other light the purple really stood out. Funny thing is... you were talking about being nervous you were driving the S13 around since you put so much effort into it, but just think how nervous you'll be with the Gloria in a pristine paint job! The first door ding, rock chip, or scratch will be painful!

A good tip when you pour oil, hold it sideways and it will flow a lot better coming out, but anyways Gloria looks good man, keep up the good content👍

Something i do when i old beaters burn oil is i switch to diesel oil burns a lot less with the thinker oil i had a subaru i had to put a quart of oil in it every time i filled the tank switched to the diesel oil and had to put a quart in every other fill up
