Dogs usually get over the bites, it's not the same as i a person gets bit.

The dog is fine ! :) it was just a harmless gopher snake they misidentified

What a waste of money, to pay you and a vet😂. I hope it was a good vet that didn’t do anything because of no envenomation symptoms. Some just love to get the bill up there😢
