【Origami Lesson for Kids & Beginners #6】Folding a Rectangle, then a House

In this Origami 101 series, you will learn how to fold easy origami product. In this lesson we will fold a basic rectangle and use it to make an Origami House.
Fine-motor skill is critical for small children. In Japan, preschoolers and kindergarteners learn how to fold origami in school. This helps children in the future when they start learning geometry and trigonometry in grade schools.

■ 1 Origami Paper (15cm x 15cm)
■ Colorful Markers
You may use colored foldable square papers.

At the beginning, small children will have difficult time matching sidelines and corners, but it is ok. Their curiosity and willingness are more important than perfection. Eventually they will be able to match the corners and sides easily as they add practices.
