Welcome to Origami & Cat's Cradle Channel!
If you want to learn how to fold Origami and play Cat's Cradle, you are at right place!
I've taught how to fold origami to both Japanese and American children in preschools, kindergartens, and elementary schools. I taught how to play Cat's Cradle to my three children at home.
They are both very traditional plays for Japanese children, and I learned them in my childhood.
Origami tutorials are labeled by ages, and they are based on my experience working with Japanese and American children. Cat's Cradle is labeled by its difficulties (Easy/Medium/Hard), and I hope these will help you where to challenge from.
I created this channel for my children to come back and learn Origami and Cat's Cradles when they forget. But, now it became a small Origami/Cat's Cradle classroom for those who want to learn.

Finger Knitting Bracelet (Level: 4 year old+)
I am adding this Finger Knitting Bracelet tutorial to my Channel.
I've worked on this bracelet with 4-year-old children, and surprisingly they could do it from start to finish!
(Of course, for the first time, I showed them how to do it. After they learned how to, they just kept making the bracelet one after another! Both boys and girls!)
Materials You Need:
* Yarn 480 cm
* 5 Popsicle sticks
* Packing Tape
* Pen
* 30 cm Ruler
* Scissors
My 10-year-old daughter enjoyed this activity, so I hope your children and students enjoy it too!! You can use different colors of yarns!!

I made my first origami crane today 17th July 2024. I was moved and inspired by the story of Sadako Sasaki after reading someone stole her statue from the park in Seattle 😢. I did not know of her until today, so I researched her story. I think I’ll be making cranes will from now on to honour her.

Thank you so much I love your content keep going u can do it!❤ I start making airplanes out of paper in 2016 when my big sister teach me it so I found more of and made them and I was struggling a lot and I got used too it and in 2022 I made origami my first I made was a fortune teller so I saw the crane I try to do it but o got mad a lot and when I finally finished it it was very wonky and messed up and I was crying in excitement. when I did it bcz I get too happy when I complete things but now in 2024 July 4 I’m very good at it😊 And I’m happy this is part of my childhood if I never learned this I would still have adhd

I am having problem where you changed the middle finger's string to pinky finger (3:59)and now i am stuck there. Please help Although nice explanation 👏
Thank you for your question!! You are almost done! All you need to do is : (1) pick the right middle finger string with a left pinky finger and pull it to the left. (2) release the string of the right ring finger and pinky finger. (3) put the right pinky finger, ring finger, and middle finger into the space right in front of the right pointer finger. (4) release the right thumb string. I hope this helps... Also, this is the slow version of the same "Walking Dog" tutorial. Let me know if you succeed or still have questions! Have a wonderful week!
