Actually, what is missing from modern life is the ability to be left alone, to not have someone trying to remake society and trying to order us around. I held the party line even with the horrible presidential lineup I had to vote for.
For the first time in my voting life I will not be supporting my party.
Once you pass away the democrats will have you voting blue again.

The problem is that we have a skewed view of both because we are living in a Isaiah 5:20 society. If I tell someone that their sin will send them to hell, and that they need to repent and turn to Christ for salvation, this is very loving because it's giving them the truth that will save their soul. But most people view it as unloving or hateful because it's sounds mean or judgy to them. As long as "men love darkness rather than the light" (John 3:19) they will always be confused by what is love and what is hate.
He must be seeing his ratings tank, so now he is adjusting is opinion.
