Like cmon, if they started a relationship when he had had a bit more of a worldly experience at the age of 25 people wouldn’t be worried or outraged but he was literally a child when they got in a relationship. Imagine the mother of your teen son’s friend doing this to your own teenage son? Would you be ok with it or would you be worried that your teen son is getting groomed by an older woman? Plus she was his director in a film and he was just starting out his acting career so there’s a power move/manipulation there that worries a lot of people: she’s not only much older and he was a teenager but she was way more powerful with Hollywood connections... sooo think about it before being so “open minded” or reflecting your own age gap issues on this matter that has nothing to do with just the age gap.

It’s not necessarily the age gap it’s the fact she has known him since he was 7 and as soon as he turned 18 she divorced her husband meaning she clearly was thinking ab being in a relationship with Aaron before hand and then them having a baby so soon in the relationship seems odd kind of like she is trapping him and just because something is legal doesn’t mean it is okay in any way shape or form

That’s why people are so pissed. Be with whoever you want, at whatever age, as long as you are both consenting adults. But if you are an older man or woman who finds a CHILD attractive and you are WAITING for them to turn 18, than that’s creepy, and it’s grooming. You’ve commented that you are in a relationship with a younger man, I’m assuming that is why the age comments bother you. But it isn’t that they have such a large age gap between them, but more so the ages in which they had met. I hope you and your partner are happy and I wish you nothing but the best :). She was a family friend. She knows him since he was 8. Then he went to audition several times at her house for a major role when he was 16-17, they "dated" and as soon as Aaron became an adult they married and had their first child a couple of months after. Isn't that too creepy? a 40 yo woman that has just divorced (a relationship of 10 years), that has survived cancer 2 times and had already 2 daugthers... That woman was in a middle age crisis and ruined a teenager/young man youth by chasing him and trapping him. The thing is not only about the 20ish year gap, but also the fact that Aaron was a teen and she was his boss, there's a power imbalance there. Aaron must have been scared to get his career ruined by her.
