Thanks for visiting! Glad you like it!😍
Thanks for watching!
If you want to look beyond downtown Belgrade, the biggest park in the city is Košutnjak at 330ha (820 acres). Next to it is another park, Topčider with about 28ha (32 acres). If you have the means, you could visit Great War Island on Danube which is also reasonably large. More easily accessed park is the Ada Ciganlija on Sava river. Ada is a term used to denote a river island. Ada Ciganlija was an island but has been joined to southern bank to form a lake. In summer, it is a VERY popular destination and I am sure it is already a well visited place with spring coming up. The park has lots of walking paths and barge restaurants and private floating weekend houses.
There is just something very special about the Balkans and Eastern Europe 😍😍. Love seeing Belgrade and to see what it has to offer 👍. Great job guys I bet your both glad for 🍺 again 🤣. Bring on the next one 👍👏🙌🙌
'Eastern"? I do not have anything against 'eastern", but even Hungary and Greece are more East than Serbia is.
South is more appropriate
Watching this while in quarantine for 14 days is really satisfying ❤️😍😉
Thanks for video... thanks for nice words... thanks for visiting... I hope that u come back soon. Serbia is the most beautiful Country .... 🇷🇸🇷🇸🇷🇸🇷🇸🇷🇸

@@konstantin2849 if only all the people in our countries were like me and you 🙏
@@roshiroshi1240 Yes, many people are nationalists and do not realize that we are all the same.
There are evil people in all countries of the world.
Only with God and love and harmony is everything solved!
@@konstantin2849 i agree. Faith in God and everything will be good. Let's hope for the best.
Great video and all the food looks so good, i really want to visit Belgrade..thanks guys x
Thank you! Would recommend!
@@dabbleandtravel You are wrong when you eat cevapi with kajmak, ajvar, urnebes salad, etc ... Cevapi is eaten with bun and onion, NOTHING ELSE !!!! Try it, you won't go wrong. Hello and enjoy Serbia !!
Behind the st. Marks cathedral, there is a Russian orthodox church. In 1921, the Russian imperial guard and a number of civilians found refuge in Serbia after the October revolution and the civil war. They have built that church in 1920s and the CO of the Russian imperial guard, general Vrangel, is laid to rest there.
Košutnjak park is the biggest park in Belgrade. Its size can be compared with Central Park in New York city. It's about 7,8 km from city center. A huge forest in Belgrade.
great video again...you have to taste Sarma and Karadordeva Snicla :-). Enjoy Belgrade
Thanks so much! We have some great food videos coming up 😍
@@dabbleandtravel ,By the way, another name in the Serbian people for Karadjordj's steak is a girl's dream.

After Maldives....Belgrade, Serbia. What a mixture. But a good one. Unfortunately, because of COVID night clubs are closed. Belgrade is quite recognized as a one of best places in Europe regarding night life.
Always got to mix the content!! Yeah it’s such w shame but we’re still loving it!
I liked Maldives maybee I will go there in future
@Noah Hayes nobody cares ! I mean , NOBODY !
If you are still in Belgrade, you may be interested in Belgrade under Belgrade. There are tours to Kalemegdan, but Belgrade is full of mysterious underworld, few know that nine smaller rivers flow below Belgrade, maybe that’s the main reason we have the subway..
Thanks for watching!
Great drone shots! Especially of St. Marks. Looks even more amazing than it did from the ground.
It’s pretty incredible! Thanks for watching♥️
Have a nice stay!

I am so glad you are having a good time in Serbia! Kaymak is salted clotted cream. May I suggest visiting my beautiful city of Novi Sad, just about 100 km away from Belgrade.
Thanks so much! Stay tuned for our future videos and follow us on Instagram to see where we are in Serbia 🇷🇸
As usual very nice video. Keep up the good work. Cheers and stay safe.
Thanks so much!
If you haven't already, you should try ajvar (read it as if it spelled i-var), it is a pepper spread often spicy hot, can be used as a sauce with meat.
Good job, I love watching your adventures
Great place to explore🌟
Right 🙏🏻
Looks so nice there love chesnuts
😍
Until 1927 there was a cemetery on the site of the Tašmajdan park. Many bodies from older periods were not moved to new cemetery and remained below the park

U guys are absolutely awesome, if u would like i would be more than happy to show you more of Belgrade since i live here. If you’re interested and still here with some extra time let me know in the comment down below and I’ll hit u up on Instagram :)
Super cool that you live in Belgrade. We are thinking of visiting the area in a year or two. Should we put it on our list?
@@jordanandsoph i would say absolutely, it is quite unique city and different, it is very affordable and very safe city with lots of amaising museums and the best nightlife in Europe and one of the best nightlife in the world if you’re into that. City is changing rapidly due to better economy so i would say yes, but make sure to visit it during spring or summer, it is the best time for exploring the city! 😄
@@filip5018 Awesome! thanks for the helpful input. We may find ourselves there in a couple years for a visit.
@@jordanandsoph you’re welcome :)
Thanks Filip!! We’re no longer in Belgrade, follow our Instagram to see where we are in Serbia 😍

@@dabbleandtravel awesome place, enjoy guys. We are from Cyprus and we are waiting for everything to open up so we can travel again. Stay safe 😊🥰
Hey Matt n Molly enjoy the weekend.
I don't sit down without at least 10 cevaps 😊
Haven't you heard the Christmas song that includes "Chestnuts roasting on an open fire..."? I assume it isn't just an American thing.
We know the song but had never had them ahah! Thanks for watching!
@@dabbleandtravel They are delicious. Street vendors sell them sometimes in New York, probably not as much as they did decades ago, I assume. I enjoy watching you guys. Keep up with the great videos.
Welcome in Serbia, you must try pork pečenje and lamb pečenje, leskovačka mućkalica, karađorđeva šnicla, čvarci and much more...
Hi Mr Matt and Ms Molly. I have seen your reaction videos on india , your vlogs in India and trust me. You guys are messenger of love, unity and peace. We need more people like you who spread friendship and unity between countries instead of blindly believe media and hating other countries. Love you both and may God bless you. 🇮🇳love you guys from India. Hoping for a reply from you
Great job guys, looking forward to seeing more things from you fron Novi Sad and Subotica. Been enjpying your vblogs, cool stuff, thumbs up. Just one suggestion, less on food please. (I know you love burek :))
You guys are doing a great job! You have talent for languages and you just need better modeling. Ташмајдан / Tašmajdan is pronounced tush-muy-dan! :)
Thanks for the tips!
You are great guys! If you don't mind i will try to make the joke about your stay: you always press the elevator so nervously hahaha, it means you are really exciting when going out( but even when going back in the room ;) ) hahaha
Amazing Belgrade...
Thanks for watching 😍
Guys, Zaječarsko beer is the best
We love Zajecarsko!
Kajmak is actually collected fat from surface of cooked, than colded milk.
Never tried a chestnuts?Every Christmas, turkey get served with trimmings and chestnuts ,very much traditional British 😊 ,said by a Chef
cevap is word from turkish Kebab... same word diferent speaking, bast are with mixed meat. also Kajmak was not cheese,it is a by-product in cheese production, and is much more expensive than cheese. it is actually a thin crust that forms on top of the milk. it shrinks and salts. it's real Kajmak.
correct
👋👋❣ love u guys
Thanks so much 😍🙏🏻
Thanks for listening me to try kevapi
🙏🏻🙏🏻
Wonderful
Thank you!
Welcome to Srbija .
Thank you!
Mat are you in an Arsenal Pub :-) :-)
Tried not to think of that 🤣🤣
My city 😍👍🏼🇷🇸♥️
Hey!
Welcome to Serbia!
Samo somun ,luk i ajvar i to ti je to.ili moze jos i kajmak+ malo ljute mlevene paprike
Usual meal of ćevapi usualy is eight not five. I hope they were bit bigger then average because usually is eight.
Definitely bigger than normal ahah!
Since you'll be out of the UK for quite some time, hope you would consider Russia in your next travel since you are already in the eastern part of Europe. Its a big country with a variety of culture and many cities to visit.
Serbia is not located in eastern Europe but it does have very similar culture as most countrys of eastern Europe.
@@ugljesadimitrijevic8687 thanks for the information. Serbia is a beautiful country. Food is good too.
👍🏻
You have not been in Philippines for a while
That’s for sure! Hoping to come back as soon as it’s open!
aaaaaa, u made me hungry, AND I AM HOME DONT HAVE ANY MEET /Many Serbs are fasting either only this week, or previous 7+this one, and tomorrow is the Great Friday /when Jews and Pilatus crucified Christ/ SO I CAN NOT EAT MEAT UNTIL SUNDAY...
I am also a "fun" of trees, so I bought a flat in Rakovica (not a downtown) but the building is literally surrounded by the wood from 3 sides... Tanx for promoting my and our beloved Belgrade.
For the algorithm 😉
Am I the only Serb that has eaten chestnuts? :)
For traditional cevapi you should try Sarajevo.
ipak onaj iz Bos. Novog kod zeleznicke stanice .. ne moze ni banjalucki ni sarajevski da primirisu ..
Grew up in that park… hope you had a nice time!
Yes, thank you! :)
Lets me guess right now your in a bar with a beer watching England v San Marino...
We wish!! Bars are closed at the minute due to a lockdown!
@@dabbleandtravel That I didn't know it was San Marino so I won't tell you who won.........

Kajmak nije sir.
Најбоља храна на планети је у Србији,амин
Thanks for your comment
When you going in Pakistan?
We’re looking into it!
Peel them and enjoy. We did this at home in London every winter over an open fireplace Mmmmmmmm
I can’t believe it was our first ever time 🤣
Drinking in public is against the law in Serbia. But we are very flexible about it lol. Just do not drink in front of kids, schools, playgrounds and such.. and you are fine.
Oops! 😱
❤️💚🇵🇹👍🏻
Just saw the vid but when trying burek dont get in bakery they are bad there are stores that sell just burek amd its much better but i as a serb can say the best burek that you can get is bosnia they cant compare to ours
You can get roasted chestnuts at Christmas in the uk
We know, but we’ve never had them! 🤣😭
Kajmak is not a cheese.
It’s our way of explaining it 😉
@@dabbleandtravel Actually, it is milk fat, that is taken along in the process of making cheese. But, you can call it as you like
Another thing you MUST NOT miss while you are here is Sarma. And I can point you back to that same Zavičaj (Завичај) you get Karadjordjeva šnicla. There are plenty of them in BG, as well as in the whole of Serbia. One is very close to your apartment, on the very beginning of Balkanska street. You can google it for directions.
What is good about Zavičaj is, they cook whole meals in the same place, and every meal you eat anywhere is the same. And anytime.
Thank me later. Enjoy your stay.
Thanks so much!!! Got some great videos coming!!
@@dabbleandtravel actually Kajmak is made similarly as clotted cream like Devonshire or Cornish. The milk clot(cream-fat +protein particles) is scooped out and collected. The difference is in Serbia it is salted and aged so it is savoury comparing to Dev. clotted cream which is sweet. The process is labour intensive. Kajmak can be fresh or they call it "young" in Serbia, aged up to 7 days, tastes more like salted Danish style butter, and other type is aged longer, several weeks heavily salted, more pungent in taste and it is called an "old" kajmak. "Old" kajmak is commonly made in Western Serbia and mountains.
Fun Fact: Serbia became the first country in the history of mankind to have a female LGBT as its prime minister.Serbia is the most LGBT friendly country in the balkans.Cheers!
We aren't so proud of that since we're pretty traditional but ok
Her spouse is the hottest wife of all politicians we have 😂 so you gotta respect Ana somehow

Thanks 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Actually cevap is national dish of Bosnia 😊

@@janakolasinac1686 😂😂😂😂😂😂 Cevap is Bosnian dish on Balkan! My nationality is Bosnian! Please don’t teach us lesions here!
