This was a great tutorial. I learned a couple of new workflow techniques. QUESTION: Can you do a tutorial on exporting Neumorphic technique as an SVG graphic for online responsive design? I have not found a way to do this without the blur effects rasterizing. I subscribe to Skillshare and will look there for a tutorial. There are Themes available for purchase but editing the SVG filters requires code expertise. Thanks so much.
This is out of my league but I do know that the filter effects will always rasterize because they’re not true vector effects. You might try the SVG filters in illustrator. Also I found this reference to an Illustrator 10 book by Deke McClellan. He’s a guru in this area and it might be of help or it might point you towards a solution. Best of luck! books.google.com/books?id=rqN4DPzfoDIC&pg=PA748&lpg=PA748&dq=how+to+get+blur+effect+an+svg+files+without+rasterizing&source=bl&ots=6gqVkFpsf1&sig=ACfU3U0eH1utV4B21xIbp46W_mzAGbxcsQ&hl=en&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwie66mD68D0AhURPH0KHSpZDJYQ6AF6BAgnEAI#v=onepage&q=how%20to%20get%20blur%20effect%20an%20svg%20files%20without%20rasterizing&f=false
@@HelenBradley thanks for responding. I’ve added the SVG filter and export issue inside User Voice for a couple of years. The SVG filters use DIFFERENT filters for exporting but the Filter Editing tool is missing the UI in Adobe Illustrator to avoid coding manipulation for adjusting transparency, color, size, and other tweaks to the scalable vector. Hoping Adobe will address this ASAP. I’ll have to use a different program to solve in the near future. Inkscape, which is free shareware, is native to SVG and holds promise but additional training. I’d prefer to stick with Adobe since I use their full suite of products and Adobe XD for front end design development. If you have time to vote-up Adobe’s attention to this, it will help solve it faster. I can send links to the open tickets or you can filter them within Adobe User Voice. Thank you Helen!
