  • Hello from Sunny CA!
In this video pictorial I showcase the build process for 3 background low relief structures. Two of the structures are scratch-built using Styrene, skewers, a piece of thin foil, and super glue. The third structure is a kit-bashed Rix warehouse.
Painted and weathered using cheap acrylics, an india ink wash, and finally, dusted with various shades of chalk.
    The Styrene was purchased online:
2 - 0.040x6x12 Pattern Sheets (walls and roof)
1 - Evergreen Styrene Bag Odds and Ends
Please feel free to leave any comments or questions and, as always, thanks for watching and please like, share, and subscribe!
Filmed on the Southern Pacific Burbank Branch HO Scale Switching Layout.

Excellent work, I like the concept of using the wood skewers for support, and they work well for installation into the foam. For the early years of needing buildings and other structures I always bought kits and assembled them, but for the last 6 years I have been building my own with wood or Styrene. What a difference in the cost and the process of how to use different materials. Keep up the great work and looking forward to your future videos. Thanking for sharing your skills and how to's

Google "warehouse inside" or something. Then resized the image to fit the opening. Thanks!

According to actual electrical code that I am familiar with, it says conduit must be supported every ten feet or about 3 meters.
