Sonu Nigam sings very well but, his voice is not really that good when compared to Rafi or Kishore Kumar, etc. At certain portions in the song it becomes piecing sound which is not very pleasing but, if Rafi or Kishore Kumar were to sing that same song even at a high pitch their voice sounds sweet.
Alap at 3:08 is just mesmerizing and quiet difficult for even a seasoned vocalist. Hats off to Sonu Nigam. Abhishek can't match the aura of his voice and seems like a total mismatch.
