People tend to ignore Bonk Scouts because they are invincible and faster than anyone else. But that won't work much on Control Point maps, preferably the smaller ones. Because the chances of back-cap is very high, an intelligent person would go after that Scout.

there's plenty of weapon counters, like the natasha, the air blast, soldier rockets, the force of nature, tactics made just for dealing with any other demo knight not only that but they get a lot less armor protection, its not op

I think the Tide-Turner is outrageous. It gives you complete turn control, even though they tried to prevent it 2 months ago.. I'm all for turn control, but a slight change would be better than turning 90 degrees in an instant.
They tried to prevent it because the previous turning was a glitch only exploitable by those with A: A high framerate (Giving high framerate users an even higher technical edge over their lower-framerate counterparts) B: A controller/joystick for purposes of increased input or C: Scripts to turn oneself at a set speed even when turning. All three of these options were unfair towards various people in the game for reasons unintended by Valve, so they removed it temporarily in favor of a solution that allows all levels to do it. And you can't say that this isn't worse than before when a Targe demoknight did the same thing with over 2x as much resistance as these Tide Turner guys. Now, I do have one thing to bitch about with the Tide Turner: It has the unlisted effect of having an unbreakable charge. For example, I main spy. Before this update, I had a fairly straightforward way of dealing with demoknights; headshot them once during their charge to stop it then either run or follow up with another headshot while they're still confused from the failed charge. Recently to my dismay, I discovered that headshotting Tide Turner demos did absolutely nothing to their charge, allowing them to execute their target as if I'd never shot them at all. Oftentimes said target is myself. Because you know, shooting a demoknight in the head kinda seems to piss them off a wee bit. Shocking, eh?
Jhawk Wings Funny enough, the way I deal with a charging demoknight is to either cloak and step out of the way, dead ringer, or circle around them and shoot them a couple times.

I like how Valve fixed demo knigts. People exploited the game to mitigate turning penalty. They fixed the exploit and gave people item that mitigates turning penalty even better. Not complaining, just not a fan of demolition man turning into a swordsman.

I have just had the best idea thanks to you and the medic doing the conga. The idea is that you be a spy or scout with a bonk and equip the conga taunt. You then proceed to the enemy and attempt to infect someone with the "conga virus". The enemy team is then attracted to the conga and catches the "conga virus". Once the whole enemy team is "infected" your team easily wins the round.

The point Jerma brings up about bonk making you "invisible" is really true. Whenever your using it people just think "theres no point in following him till all his bonk is gone and hes probably not gonna do much". It's actually a nice added bonus besides being invincible.
Hey Jerma I got a fun thing you can do. Be a spy with The Cloak And Dagger and just stay invisible near the enemy and start toying with there minds by switching disguises and saying random things (while disguised). They'll start looking for you and when they do, give them hints on where you are by saying random things (and try not to die). It's loads of fun :)

The Screen is now useless, the Targe is good for defensive porpuses and good agianst pyros, the Tide turner is good for offensive

The point Jerma brings up about bonk making you "invisible" is really true. Whenever your using it people just think "theres no point in following him till all his bonk is gone and hes probably not gonna do much". It's actually a nice added bonus besides being invincible.

Hey Jerma I got a fun thing you can do. Be a spy with The Cloak And Dagger and just stay invisible near the enemy and start toying with there minds by switching disguises and saying random things (while disguised). They'll start looking for you and when they do, give them hints on where you are by saying random things (and try not to die). It's loads of fun :)
