- Let Freedom Hum, hosted by Martin Short, was a part of the Chicago Just For Laughs Fest May of 2009. Kathleen performed along with John Pinnette, Tom Papa, Greg Giraldo and others. This vid highlights Kathleen's performance that night along with a brief interview with Jiminy Glick.

Brilliant comedy and great delivery and persona.
Kathleen is naturally funny. I’ve never had the feeling she’s trying too hard - and that’s an excellent quality in a comic. I usually like comics who tell stories more than the one-liner Henny Youngman-types (though Steven Wright is an exception to that rule.) You get to experience the world through their eyes. Kathleen’s view is wry, dry, commonsensical, yet goofy. She’s intelligent & no one’s fool. And I love the fact that her humor isn’t all about being female. That’s a one-trick pony who gets old FAST. And if Kathleen’s proven anything over her long career - it’s that she’s NOT a one-trick pony!
She’d make a great late-night show host, don’t you think? I’m sure she’s had multiple offers throughout the years. I’ve always heard a steady gig like that is a TON of never-ending work, though. Maybe she likes having control over her own schedule, taking breaks when she wants to, etc.
