    I smoked a pack a day for 38 years. Next month, I’ll be smoke-free for 2 years. I feel so much better.

      Yeah I used to smoke 1-2 packs a day but I've been smoking only 3-4 cigarettes a day for about almost 4 years now. I'm a recovering addict & it's the only thing I have left so I really don't see myself giving up my few cigarettes a day.

      @@Gameboy-Unboxings I smoke a pack a week after having smoked 2 packs a day for many years. I quit completely for about 7 years, but covid and boredom brought me back to a few butts a day. If I am on vacation I might smoke another pack more, but I am happy I can enjoy it and be moderate, something I never thought was possible. I hope to quit completely in the future, but I don't want to!! I enjoy it too much.

    They say that the actresses Humphrey Bogart worked with hated to do romantic scenes with him because he reeked of smoke and bad breath.

    John Wayne smoked 6 packs of cigarettes a day. That is IMPOSSIBLE

    • @ricddewbe54
      @ricddewbe54 5 місяців тому +3

      Absolutely not impossible. I have seen people do it. One went through 8 packs a day. But what you have to understand and realize is they use it as a crutch, a way to handle nervous energy or problems. He would light one up and talk. Then sit it in the ashtray and let it burn. Pick it back up take a drag and let it burn almost to the filter sometime then take the last drag and light up another. The only time he would not have a cigarette lit up would be when he was sleeping. During day or night he would never stop smoking. Mind you he would let it burn away a lot. But he would always be inhaling the smoke as it burned.

      Yes, is it possible. People still do it today. They light the next cigarette with the lit end of the last.

      My next door neighbor when I was a kid smoked a carton a day. It's definitely possible, if incredibly stupid.
