Watching this now for a second time. Honestly, it's refreshing and wonderful to see Dr. Hutson and Pastor Trieber take this kind of stand.
The liberals that are going into CCM music are harming others. Because rock and roll music actually kills biological life. Studies have been done that show how even Rats kill each other when hearing heavy metal/rock music. This "style" of music is dangerous to everyone... It takes your inhibitions down. Makes you go into a hypnotic state.
I'm thankful for the Hymns. Singing them promotes solid doctrine, a walk with Christ, and clear thinking.

I love the KJV and it's the Bible I use. But, I always find it interesting when preachers attack any other version. Are they not aware that the King James is a "version" of the Bible too? 🤔

Proverbs also uses vivid language to warn against gluttony: “Put a knife to your throat if you are given to gluttony” (Proverbs 23:2). One of the characteristics of a person from whom God has withdrawn his blessing is that “his face is covered with fat and his waist bulges with flesh” (Job 15:27).
What Scripture says about eating too much?
Gluttony or overeating is a sin. Here are three verses from Proverbs regarding eating more than our bodies need. Prov 23:20 “Do not be with heavy drinkers of wine, Or with gluttonous eaters of meat.” Prov 28:7 “He who keeps the law is a discerning son, But he who is a companion of gluttons humiliates his father.”
I find it funny that you used a quote from one of Jobs “friends” that were “consoling” him when in fact Job was the one who was right with God, not the pharisee for whom you quoted. You also used Proverbs. Didn’t Proverbs have something to say about answering without having all the facts? Just like you did by judging brother Hutson as a Glutton. Did God show you some inspired Revelation that nobody else has? Have you the information at hand and for some reason decide to gossip about it? You ignorantly used the quote of Eliphaz the Temanite, who was likely an Edomite, or Palestinian. Your use of this verse in Job exposed you as the fraud. After all, I can do all things through a verse taken out of context.
Gluttony in the Bible is dealing with eating so much you throw up just to eat again. Quit flapping your tongue and educate yourself.
