You don’t really sound like a born again believer. No repentance…OR you are walking in your own will and not His. I grew up in the independent Baptist church and I’ve been to other churches; southern Baptist, non-denominational, etc. No new age hand raising thankfully. Your comment comes off like an Andy Stanley mentality. I’m not saying there are not bad pastors and/or staff in these churches but to say the independent Baptist church as a whole is all show, is a lie from the devil. I hope you completely examine where you stand with God, not just salvation but His will as you attack one of the most sound doctrine denominations that exist in America today. We use the KJV, still preach on hell and that homosexuality is a sin, sing Hymns (not rock music with bands) and dress like mature adults. This is all possible because we renew our minds daily by reading the word and prayer, surrendering ourselves to the Lord. Luke 22:42 KJV

@@jmclaughlin3728 You’re right. The scripture never changes nor does God, so it definitely comes off “cookie cutterish” to those that are not following His will. Now@@BojackGriffin_03, that was a real nice christian response with you being a preacher and all. I went and listened to your “IFB KJV ONLY” videos. I have two questions for you. 1. You say you started preaching at the age 14, well that coincides with you hitting puberty. Can you explain [without using faith] how you came to be a preacher whilst fighting the urges for natural procreation? 2. Can you prove without a shadow of a doubt that that Jesus didn’t have slaves bring out water and then bring out wine? If you can prove any of this, you have a convert on your hands. If not, study your book more.

Well, I’ll start off by saying that just because I’m a preacher does not mean that I’m saying I’m perfect. Obviously, by my rude spirited comment in the first place. Now we both understand that there is both a spiritual and physical side to everything. And as a man there is obviously a physical desire. But, truthfully I had learned that the desire and the want is a Natural thing. But lust is the desire for the forbidden, and fornication is a forbidden thing. During this time of my life and even now I both knew and know that God does have a woman for me and he will have his will in my life. Knowing this has definitely been the physical battle in my life. And I did slip a lot, especially as a teen i really had to try in my thought life. Now, in The spiritual realm I’m glad and even proud to say that God kept me pure and other than the mind fight that all men deal with I have never committed any physical fornication acts. 2.
