I really like the design of these two watches, but I cant decide. Should I go for the steel version or the black? And if I would chose the black, what happen if the watch gets a scratch on the black paint. Which one would you recommend?
Nice video Ben, I enjoy your content! Being a Nigerian and a watch enthusiast, I'd say that Nigeria and Africa generally have a long way to go and a lot of catching up to do in the horological watchmaking world. Give us time!
Once chinese and vietnamese labor costs increase over a threshold, manufacturers will turn to alternative countries, e.g. in Africa to produce low quality at low cost in masses. That is not a bad future economically, I think it has to a degree helped a poor population in china move up to the middle class. Noone will ever buy specifically african watches or any other comparable product, other than for identity politics, which is likely a very small market. Or do you think anybody in the next 200 years will wonder if he should by a swiss made or a nigerian made watch? Africa needs original ideas and original products and grow them at home before transplanting them abroad.
Slightly late to the party, but it would be a shake-up if a company or group of companies from somewhere other than Switzerland or Japan got a proper foothold into the watch industry as it could help to stimulate competition. The issue I see personally is people generally don’t trust brands without heritage, so serious price penetration would have to occur to make it work.
Great video, Ben..to answer you question, sitting around on the tops of skyscrapers waiting for some guy to hand out watches is actually NOT normal behavior here in the States-it was funny, though!!

Hi Ben
Thanks for all the great reviews.
I wonder if you could review these two casio watches, the MTP-B105M-2A and the MTP-B105MB-1A. I really like the design of these two watches, but I cant decide. Should I go for the steel version or the black? And if I would chose the black, what happen if the watch gets a scratch on the black paint. Which one would you recommend?
Wakonda could clean up in the watch market. Vibranium watch dials or lume? Yes, please.
@@maxmeier532 Great thoughts here, great word!
The AR looks like the logo for antiques Roadshow!!
This Ben guy is a proper all around Nice chap
Did an image search and found dozens of models identical to the "transporter" but with different dials, seems to be the same with all their models
Thanks for not being a shill. Much appreciated.
Great video, lots of work behind the scenes to make this happen. keep them coming Ben!
That's a 10 on the defective work you've done. Love your videos
Ooooh it's like a Vincero but with the Antique Roadshow logo!
Great job, thanks for sharing! 👍
Great video, Ben..to answer you question, sitting around on the tops of skyscrapers waiting for some guy to hand out watches is actually NOT normal behavior here in the States-it was funny, though!!
