Moths are underrated throughout most of human history because they were seen as vermin.
Moths favorite food is keratin which is the protean that makes up our hair nails etc.
Before the advent of cotton clothing and polyesters, wool and silk clothings would get absolutely destroyed by hungry moths since wool is hair and silk is keratin as well.

So we fed it and gave it leaves and hand held it some times. Only 2 days after we got it, we had a long day of fun, and I checked on it, AND IT WAS IN a COCOON! It was amazing so we noticed that it was no with it's colony because it was geting to cocoon so it can turn into a moth. so I checked again and I was moveing I confused why but it was because it was makeing more silk to cover it self more so here we are now ready to have beautiful moth in 2-3 weeks!

Moths are very beautiful and I'd argue more versatile in their looks than butterflies. They have magnificent colors, body types, hair types, etc. So amazing. I hope you find more enjoyment in Earth's beautiful creatures.

I find moths wonderful. They look sometimes like divas! I live in the Cerrado region in Brazil and here it was very common to find some unique ones.

You see I love these moths, especially the first one but I forget how fast they actually fly and if there was ever a time one of these flew next to me I’d probably scream and panic then stop to watch it mesmerized from a distance
