If there was no other option, my wife ran in front, then the youngest, the middle and the oldest and I, as the father, came last. It was the same on the bike too. When crossing the street, I always walked slightly behind the kids in order to catch the child if someone ran away, but that never actually happened. Nevertheless, we were always attentive, because children see something and want to go there, so always be careful that the children also become adults 🙂
The parents told the kid there were monsters and they can’t make noise but he was like bunk that I want a loud toy, it sucks but this is survival of the fittest and it wasn’t like that was the first day he’s had a rundown on what he has to do to stay safe. It sucks the kid died but it shows the importance of following some rules

OML FINALLY, I CAN DO ONE OF THESE so basically this movie is called “The Quiet Place” and it’s about sort of an apocalypse and nobody can speak or make loud noises. And if you do there are these really creepy weird alien things that are blind but can hear EVERYTHING. Anyway, in this scene the little boy asked his parents for a rocket toy and they said no (in sign language) because it makes sound. But the older sister (which is deaf) said she could have it. But she didn’t know he would take the batteries. And when everyone walked out of the store, the little boy took the batteries and ran with them and hid them in his pocket. And after that, they were walking him and he turned on the toy and sadly. It made a really loud sound and he didn’t make it. 😔

In starting of the movie you see some newspaper clippings and cutouts , there they mentioned that more than half of all living things have started to disappear ( we all know what that means) , so now you know nothing that makes noise could survive

alright. I need to write this. I am sure its a nice movie. But after watching a lot of movies can't ignore the fact that certain things don't add up in the movie and the script had some flaws. Take this scene for example. According to the movie any kind of noise attracts the man eating creatures right. Then what the hell is the girl doing with a toy plane with a sound operated with batteries, charged and given to her at the wrong time in the movie, when its obvious and we can assume that they probably had a talk before starting their journey through this bridge that they have to be quiet if they wanted to stay alive. And at this moment the little girl at the back decides to switch the sound on. Second flaw for me is that why are two girls behind when they should be at the front or beside the elders so that they can be safe. It would have saved the girl and his time trying to run back and save her from the man-eating creature.
The little boy in the back with the battery operated toy space ship got the toy from a pharmacy in the beginning, he was told by the father he cannot have the batteries in due to the ship making noise. The dad takes out the batteries, and before they leave the daughter puts back in the batteries to make her brother happy, not thinking of the consequences i guess The boy's probably to young to understand what'd happen if he made noise with the toy being he looks pretty young, not sure why they left the boy in the back with the toy though
You obviously didn't watch the movie (or forgot) it's a boy. Not a girl. The boy took up the batteries unknown to them. Neither gave him the batteries. But I do agree, it wasn't smart having the youngest walking behind by himself

And even at home, everyone knows how to hunker down and secure things enough to stay safe. But in reality, how the second one went, with her being pregnant. I have a feeling they sort of wrote the story backward, to give that part of things more OMG factor.
Everything you guys are saying is partially true so I’ll explain all of it So basically there are monsters from outer space that can only see with sound, kind of like how blind people can make the clicking noise to tell them where they are(which the monsters do), and see/hear what is around them The little boy is named beau and his family was leaving their hometown after I think it was 40 days since the monsters came to earth, and he wanted to bring the rocket with him but his dad said no, put it on a counter, and removed the batteries His sister felt bad and gave him the toy but left the batteries on the counter so that he wouldn’t make noise, but beau thought he could use the rocket to fly him and his family away, so he took the batteries, and when they were on the bridge he turned on the rocket to leave, but since the monsters can hear around a large radius and are very fast, his family didn’t have the time to react and move him out of the monsters path, so he sadly passed
Next time watch the movie before you ask stupid questions. The toy initially didn't have batteries, but his sister gave some to him without the parents' knowledge. Nobody knew the toy had batteries except for the little kid and his sister.

Guys the thing that gives the movie away is kind of at the end there’s a big metal thing that is very hard to get thru and the monster got thru it SO easily but then when the kids were in the truck that is very is easy to get into the monster has the hardest time getting into the truck
